You really took one for the team making this! Princess Tutu was literally my childhood and to see it be continued makes me so happy! It’s also astonishing to me how on point the animation is, you are very talented! I cannot wait to see what you do with this story and the relationships between the old and new characters. I especially can’t wait to see what you will make of Ahiru and Fakir’s relationship, if that step past friendship will occur that we all have been wanting for the longest time. Again you’re so talented and so excited to see what this continuation will bring!

I am so amazed, the pacing, the 2000s style gags, even the shot composition is so spot on?? This is beautiful! and i'm genunely excited to meet a lot of the OCs from the opening. The little fairies look so 2003 and i mean that as the upmost compliment; all the new designs blend in seamlessly and i am FLOORED. can't wait to see the twist for how she became a girl again, can't wait to see it all!
Thank you very much! I'm very very very happy you find the style so authentic and a plast from the past! I never even tried nor wanted to give PT a "modern updated look", in my opinnion all the reboots I've seen this far are only decent at their best, but most are pretty much ruined. While trying to make them original and unique they easily end up having difficulties to produce good art, almost like they can't draw the characters well :/ One of the things I love the most about PT is the elegantly cute style, not too moe but not too sailormoonish. Simple and pretty, so I really aim to keep that! Thank you for watching! 🤗🤗🤗
you really captured their essence and its beautiful i actually feel like im watching a direct sequel of the series and based off the opening sequence im glad rue and the prince are not in this because i personally feel like their story ended happily in the original series so im glad we can just focus on these two
When I was in elementary school, I really liked Princess tutu, so I used to draw a sequel as a cartoon by myself, and it's amazing that you actually practiced it! Thank you for reviving Princess tutu, which always remains in my heart even though I am 27 years old now. I'm really enjoying the animation! If the 2nd GEN comes out, I think it'll be like this.

Hello! Ah yes, I can relate to that! In fact, some ideas are something I made back in my early teens when I first discovered PT -I got my first computer when I was 13 and quickly found anime from the internet -Tutu was one of the first animes and I ended up watching it for it's themes. You're never too old to watch your favorites no matter in which age you found them. Making a good sequel is hard, but I'm glad people accept this so well! Thank you! ☺

I literally started crying while watching this, I'm so emotional????
It blows my mind that this was animated by one person...not only because it's full color animation, but also it's so consistently on model. You perfectly replicated the original art style (AND sound effects, OST, and all the littlr parts that go into the episode like fairtale opening + placard episode title + transformation sequences etc)...and not only that, but the storyboarding? The pacing of the jokes and storybeats and conversations?
Everything feels SO authentic, it's obvious that this was made with a lot of love and attention to detail. Everything from the art to the sound to the storytelling throws me right back into the past...and this new narrative sounds so intriguing, I hope I fall in love with it.
What an incredibly ambitious task, what a truly wonderful way to honor this story we love and turn it into your own. Blown away.
And also, despite the fact that it was not a studio, the drawing is very pleasant, and in some moments you want to put it on the screen
OMG you're so talented, this is very great, you did a better job than some professional studios out there and we love that, just don't neglect yourself
Omg, i saw the fan art intro of this and was immediately hooked. This animation is beautiful and i love that each character is in the old style of the og princess tutu but still has a unique twist. Keep up the great work! 😊♥️

THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL, SHOOK ME TO THE CORE AND ACTUALLY MADE ME TEAR UP. i really liked what the ending meant to convey, but as a hopeless romantic i never got over the fact that she remained a duck and couldnt follow her dancing dreams and start a proper relationship, so this is like my 12 year old self having their dreams come true in the most beautiful way. thank you so much

I. I wasn’t expecting a fan animation to look this good. It’s genuinely lovely! A little choppy, understandably, for the smaller team, but the art and aesthetics are spot-on beautiful…!!! It even has the fairy tale-esque narration opening episodes… this is so lovely from just the intro and opening…
Edit: WAIT, I used to follow you on tumblr, I believe, you always had the sweetest, funniest, most in-character fanart!! I remember you sharing some progress pictures for some animation or something near the end!!

@@xX_SweetAngel_Xx you can use copyright materials to some extent. Usually partial clips aren't concidered bad infrigiment and that's why youtube allows them, like amvs, edited clips, best parts in a show etc. But uploading full lenght music, movies, episodes etc is concidered bad. And yet not all stuff is taken down 🤷♂️

This gave me the same feeling I had when I had watched the original Princess Tutu for the first time ever. the fact that you were able to imitate and animate Ikuko Itohs beautiful style is absolutely remarkable. Everything felt so on point; the jokes, the music, the dialouge. I'm truly excited to see where this series goes and I hope you see it all the way through.

For a fan creation this is really well made 😭. The plot is not too rushed/too slow. And if this is an official anime, I'm pretty sure the beginning will be made comedic like that too 🤣. I love that you still use classical music for the music (carnival of animals), because it's not princess tutu if it's not classical :'))) This makes me want to watch princess tutu again after all these years 🥺
