I’m with you on the old UA-cam. I miss how us moms could just pick up the camera and vlog. There was no aesthetic or competition. It was genuine motherhood. My 2015 videos are far far different! I miss it. I think that’s why I look forward to your videos. They’re homey and relatable ❤ I hope you are all close to better now!
I wish everyone would go back to the way it used to be… so many channels are so produced now. Sometimes I like editing a better video but most of the time I just want to put some clips of the day together and that’s that lol

I was ill all over Xmas and New Year. I also had annual leave booked but I was given that back so it’s not been wasted. Hope you all feel better soon 🌻
at least it wasn't wasted! I want a do over of our Christmas break, the whole thing was spend sick. But at least Christmas Day was spared lol
I love the powder detergents, the liquid ones make my machine smell. I use Molly Suds for the baby and Tide for the rest of us

Health scientist here. Since there are several strains of COVID now, the tests are giving a lot of false negatives now. It does sound like COVID to me, especially since Noah's fever went away & came back again. Oh, & then Greg getting sick again after feeling better.
Hmm I wonder! So the tests are kid of pointless then, right? It’s weird that Paisley didn’t get it though.
@@MommyEtc At this point, it's better go off symptoms & the onset of symptoms. Here in the UK, pharmacies have stopped giving out the tests & even hospitals don't routinely test people now.
@@MommyEtc It's possible that Paisley still has some of your antibodies from breatfeeding. There are two main types of immune cells, one of which kills off things that are recognised as foreign, even before the body decides if it knows what it is. I suspect that's what helped Paisley. Plus, you can be asymptomatic for COVID, meaning not showing any symptoms, but still bein contagious. That's one of the things that made COVID so infectious.
I miss vlogging… but I don’t have the mental energy right now. And I know people on real life follow me, and I fear being judged. 😢 I wish it was easier just to pick up the camera. Maybe I should try.
We’ve been sick for a week now. Everyone but hubby got it. Took the baby in today to get a cough syrup rx. My grandparents have been sick since before Xmas 😮. Flu shots are hit and miss as they don’t cover all the strands of flu out there. So you can get the shot, but still get a different full blown strand of flu. Sick kids are hard.
And we use the tide powder just because we can afford it. Haven’t found anything else that cleans as good. And I use a sprinkle of oxyclean for smelly loads. If it makes you feel any better, I’m pretty sure Tidebis one of the companies that changed their formula to be under the allowed limit of those bad ingredients people all talk about. 👍🏻

That’s good to know about Tide. I’ve never tried the powder, I wonder if it’s more cost effective. Sorry you guys have been sick! Hope you all get over it quickly. And prayers for your grandparents, same for them!
I hear you on not having the mental energy. I’m lucky if I get up one video a week. These kids take all my time, but I like vlogging so it’s something I try to do for myself. Who cares what others think.

We use tide powder. And I have to use tide free and clear powder for myself. If you do end up changing detergents just be aware it can possibly cause some reactions until y’all get used to it like itchiness.

also i LOVEEE molly's suds!! i use that for detergent and i get the oxygen brightener. and then distilled white vinegar for softener. i do miss having a "scent" to my clothes, but i love using natural products and the clothes just smell clean and unscented which is good! :)
Do you use vinegar with each load of laundry? I don’t think Tide really give our laundry a scent, but I think that’s a good thing. No scent means it’s clean lol.
very true! the vinegar takes all odors away. we have a washer with an agitator where you can put the vinegar in the middle of it and it uses it on the rinse cycle. i use it when i wash dog blankets, towels, our bedding, etc. if i'm just washing my clothing that isn't ridiculously dirty, i'll skip it most times. @@MommyEtc

I remember when I first found you here. You were talking about how annoying a bottle pump was. 😅 I know flu B going around. Also covid test not always accurate. Happened for my daughter few years ago. I had to have her retested as I knew she gave to me. Feel better soon.
lol I remember that video! I forget what exactly was so annoying about it though 🤣 I guess it’s possible the test wasn’t accurate, that sucks, kind of defeats the purpose of the home tests lol
@@MommyEtc yeah years ago. 😊 Hard believe my daughter was in kindergarten I believe. Your videos got me through some hard times. 🫶🏻I was stay home mom of only child. I would talk to her about my show I was watching lol.. Now she's going be 18.
Hope you all are feeling better now! It does sound like the flu, those fevers can last 10 days. Also, a trick I used on my kids is when they are about 4 or 5, we start practicing swollowing pills by using M&Ms. You can start with mini M&Ms. Mine both figured pills out by the time they were 5.

So sorry all of you were sick 🙏! I’ve used tide liquid on my permanent press and tide powder on towels, rug and sheets for my whole adult life,I only tried a couple of other brands and gave them away and stayed with tide ♥️. Prayers 🙏for everyone to be feeling better soon…..🍃💗🍃
Hope you guys get better soon. We have it as well. I know it’s cold out, but my doctor told me to open my windows in my house for about 10-15 minutes. I did it today, so hopefully it helps.

@@MommyEtc I have I liked tide but I enjoy a longer lasting fragrance so once I found gain and the scent lasted on my close I definitely to make it our staple
It feels like covid to me, ive had tbe flu several times and covid once or twice. But then again everyone who gets covid might have a different experience.
I have no idea! I don't think I had a high enough fever for it to be covid... but it did start out with a cough which was really weird. We'll never know lol
@@MommyEtc yeah that is weird lol. I didnt have a fever at all though when I had covid. Everyone's symptoms for it are different.
Those fevers sound like what I have. urgent care will test you or your husband. I had a fever for 4 days, was tested Jan 1. Flu A
