Hi, I'm Jill and I'm a stay at home mom of four. I share cleaning, homemaking, organizing, some homeschooling stuff, and just living life on a budget. Creating videos is a fun hobby for me and it's just social enough to fill my small, introverted cup. I'd love for you to subscribe and say hi in the comments. Thanks for watching!

Since you’re using a realtor, you answered me from my last time I made a comment I didn’t know you were using a realtor so that changes things a little. Unfortunately, you will have to stage your house which will make it hard on you and your family for just a little while especially homeschooling . No doubt you will be able to do it, though .😊….The main thing is when you start putting things in your bins make sure you take the time to mark what’s in each bin so when you move into your new home, they’ll be no question of what is in the bin. Looks like you’re doing a wonderful job. Refreshing your home for the sale. Great job you always do good Jill you never should doubt yourself.😊! God bless you and your sweet family on your new journey…..🍃🌷🍃…..🌻
Thank you so much for saying I do a good job, it means a lot to hear that! And good idea with the labeling the bins of what’s inside. I always think I will remember where stuff got packed but there’s always stuff that ends up in a different box than I thought it did lol.
The foundation looks so good with the new paint!
Thank you! I think it does, too!
You're doing great 🌻 I'd hate to know i was moving .Ive been in this house 29 years and I've got lots of stuff.
Have a good evening Jill 🌻🌻🌻
Keep the wrapping paper and similar things you are unsure of! You don't know when you'll be moving and having stuff might make it easier. For instance moving right around christmas time you may thank yourself for not having to run to the store and spend money on wrapping paper. Not everything has to be new🌻
That's good you keep mlp and trolls in the box they don't belong in the bin
Doing a great job. 👍 ❤ its a tedious process, but it'll be worth it. 🙂
I meant to add on one of your other videos that depending on where in the south you are moving to i know with our state recentlyish they gave us different garbage cans and we use to be able to put our bags out at the end of our driveway but now they have to be in a bin and now we have i forget how much on our utility bill that's for garbage. Also the can was 18 dollars i think and if you want another one its another 18, its stupid. Also keep in mind if you build a house it might be even longer before you move its a good idea in some ways bc you can pick everything out and make the rooms as big as you want and also its sometimes cheaper to build. But it also might take 1 or 2 years before they finish your house depending on how many bedrooms and rooms you want in the house.
🌻🌻🌻 wow that one comment was uncalled for 😳 but I think you’re doing a great job and I hate “adulting “ too lol
Thank you. And yeah idk what that was. I think she normally leaves pleasant comments.
🌻
Just say on average, it costs around a $100 a month to rent a storage unit. Say you have the storage unit for a year. That's twelve hundred dollars. Just make sure this stuff You're storing is worth the money that it cost to rent the unit.
thank you, I was just thinking about that the other day. We have like our washer and dryer, a deep freezer, the boys' beds I might store and use bunk beds at my moms.

How is your mom going to fit all you guys? Does she have a huge house?
It’s just her in the house and she has a whole upstairs she doesn’t use anymore. It’s not huge, just a few empty rooms lol.
We rented a POD container when we moved and slowly moved clutter into that so the house seemed larger.
That’s a good idea!
Same! And then they drove it to our new home when we were ready!
Looking great Jill! Excited for you guys! 🌻❤️
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻, Looking good you're making progress. The foundation wall looks Great!
🌻🌻🌻So much work, but worth it. We've lived in the same house for 43 years. I can't imagine moving. I try to declutter often but still there's lots of stuff.
You sure are making progress Jill! It has to be so hard with all your kiddos around but you're doing it! Proud of you! It is a very hard thing to do, getting a home ready to sell. I went through it too - yard sales, donating - so much accumulates over time. But just keep going one day at a time and you'll get there. I know you'll have no trouble selling, it really is a nice home.
It's coming along great job you will sell fast 🌻🌻
🌻
We sold our old house to Opendoor. Not sure if that is some thing you have where you are. We didn’t have to do any repairs. 😅 🌻
Your doing a Great job Jill you will get there 🌻🌻
🌻 fun watching your new adventure
It’s looking great!! 🌻🌻🌻
🌻
🌻🌻🌻great job on the foundation wall!
So excited for ya'll! We moved from MN to TN last year and are finally under contract on our new house! After you sell you should look at opening a money market account (which is essentially a savings account) and put your equity in there. We did that with the money we got from our house sale and made almost 1k in interest each month off our money.
That’s awesome! I think we will def be doing something like that.
🌻🌻 you are doing great!! I know this is a very stressful time, but don’t forget to rest and do some self care!! ❤
Thank you! I feel like there’s tons to do, so thanks for that reminder!
I know you always say Greg has a ton of stuff in the basement, what kind of stuff is it?
Mostly Pokémon cards and funko pops.

You are doing a great job getting everything ready to list! My husband used to be a realtor and when they say to declutter they mean to take all personal items away for the listing photos and for when you have people coming to look at the house. As long as those items are out of sight for the photos and when people are looking at the house, you can put them back afterwards. So any family pictures or personal items that way when people are looking at the house they can visualize their items instead of yours in the home. It seems like a lot, but really just taking a basket or box each time and putting everything that looks personal or “cluttered” in it and put it in a closet or cupboard until the showing is over is all you really need to do. Your homeschooling cart could just be pushed into a closet. For the boxes in the basement, I would just have them stacked and pushed all together tucked on one side or wall. That is pretty common for basements or in a garage. The painting you did in the front of the house, looks great too!
Sometimes people will just put their personal items in their car during the showings and then put it back afterwards. This works well and fast if you get a last minute showing. I would also have a bag ready to go for you and the kids with snacks and activities, in case you have a last minute showing.
Thank you so much for all the tips!! That makes me feel a little better, like maybe I don’t have to empty out my entire house just to list it lol
Another thing you can do is have a basket in each room ready to remove the items you need to. For example in the kitchen before the realtor takes photos or before a showing, you would want to put all items that are on your kitchen counter, fridge and open shelves in the basket so it looks completely empty. You can then put that basket out of sight or in your vehicle. Same thing in your bathroom, put all your soaps, shampoos, towels and items that are visible in the basket for the bathroom and put it out of sight. Having a basket or bin ready for each room will make it so much easier for you.
You have a lot more to declutter! Your so unsure of what your going to do . Stop saying I DONT KNOW.
Weird to see this comment from you because I don’t think you’ve ever said anything rude before.
Moving is a HUGE deal. Moving with kids is terrifying. It’s 💯 fair of her to say I don’t know. And to be honest, she has WAY less stuff than my husband and I did when we moved five years ago. Your comment was ridiculous.
@@slowlivingmotherhood
I always support her, she just never confident to do things. It was getting tiring of hearing her say that.
Rude much Patty.
@@patticake6032 Then don’t watch! That’s the beauty of being in control of your phone! If the creator is doing or saying something you don’t like or that bothers you, move on. It takes zero effort and zero money to be polite. And if there was some sort of constructive criticism to give, that most certainly wasn’t it.
Our foundation looks like that too, did you just paint on top of the peeling paint or did you have to scrape it off first
I took a stuff scrub brush and gave it a good scrub. Whatever came off, came off and what didn’t got left there lol.
