I feel like, according to this team lineup, the Stardust Crusaders probably have the strongest overall Stands for combat (with a few outliers like Fugo, Rohan and Weather) and probably the most experience as they basically spent a month straight just fighting other Stand users including DIO who was incredibly powerful.
Overall the Crusaders are the best team I think. I think that, as Stand User, they are the best even if some Stands from the other teams are stronger. I mean, Silver Chariot had absolutely no chances of winning against Cream but he still won and Cream is so strong it could easily be a main villain Stand.

While the crusaders fought 25 stands : the world and 14 others tarots cards, 9 of the egyptian gods, cream and tenore sax
Even if they had more time they fought way more and not the same amount at all (not counting the allies stand that they fought like silver chariot or sticky fingers and double fight like the return of hol horse and boingo)

Jotaro punched stuff (before he got timestop at the end), Polnaref was just a worse version of Jotaro who poked stuff instead of punched it, and Avdol had fire. All basic. Only Joseph and Kak had stands that weren't extremely basic and neither were much for combat. Iggy got introduced later when more basic stand ideas were more exhausted.

I feel like Joseph’s Hamon abilities were really nerfed to help balance out the fact that his stand is a perfect complement to it. If Battle Tendencies Joseph had Hermit Purple, I think he would be insane in what he could really do. Especially since no other Stand user is able to use Hamon, Joseph would have an unfair advantage with how Hamon was used to affect the environment in parts 1 and 2.
I mean, josuke or jotaro could knock him out with a single punch.
Joseph in his prime fought literal gods and came out fine. I think he’d lose against star platinum without plot armor but would seriously give Josuke a run for his money, if not, beat him straight out. Josuke can’t heal himself.

@@ProjektTaku it’s not really a strength comparison. It’s more like the fact that with Hamon, Joseph can literally manipulate the ground his opponent is standing on my flowing his Hamon into it and having them lose their footing or keep them in one place.
All Joseph has to do is have Hermit purple spread out everywhere and flow his Hamon through it and he suddenly has controls the entire room. They haven’t shown any restrictions on how far hermit purple can spread out, so this is entirely plausible. Hamon is able to boost Joseph’s physical abilities as well, so he has that going for him too.
All I’m saying is that Joseph is highly underrated and underused in the show. He’s really only in the show as a comedic aspect to poke fun at and doesn’t have many great fights of his own.
@@aldolibreri791 joseph, or any hamon user has never shown being able to flow hamon through an entire room, and joseph is certainly not skilled enough to do that. Also just because can extend hermit purple, it doesn't mean he can control a whole room with it. And even if hamon boosts his physical capabilities, he would still get destroyed from one punch by crazy diamond. Although I do agree he was kind underused in part 3, there's just no way he could be jotaro, josuke, giorno or even jolyne.

Yeah and Araki has this policy that if his characters need assistance in a fight, they shouldn’t be main characters. That’s why there’s so many scenes where a jojo is dying and his jogang is just watching and commentating
the amount of wins isn’t really a good measurement of strength because:
-there are not an even amount of battles in every part
-the enemies’ average strength in every part is pretty different

Part 3 stands are usually pretty straightforward and rather based on base power than overpowered abilities (e.g. Silver chariot who doesnt even have an actual ability)
Part 4 stands are more balanced, often having abilities supporting their base power (e.g. chilli pepper)
Part 5 stands pretty much are their ability most of the time (e.g. Metallica, Purple Haze, fisher man)

@@cardboard5884 ehhh, Bruno could zip himself out of the situation, Giorno can heal himself or make a living creature to take Avdol down while being surrounded, Mista didn't die of hypothermia for some reason and he has le funny live gun, Formaggio somehow survived after being burnt alive and could potentially grow in size, White Album is a perfect counter for MR, Aerosmith can fly, if Fugo wasn't such a wimp he could easily kill anyone and himself with his stand given how deadly it is, Formaggio can turn Avdol old and kill him, Pesci can fish Avdol's organs, Illuso doesn't have a chance unless he somehow got a mirror piece somewhere but that doesn't count, Cioccolata can use his moss, Carne had he not been dead could be potentially deadly thanks to Notorious B.I.G. and Risotto's Metallica could easily pierce Avdol fatally, given that Avdol finds him anyways since he's literally OP. Not to mention Doppio could foresee the event and prevent it from even happening with Epitaph.
Characters in Part 5 are a little too OP, and should be nerfed.
Though of course if you only mean the main cast, then La Squadra and Unita Speciale mean nothing and neither does Doppio. Avdol may be strong, but he's nowhere near as OP as several Part 5 characters... Especially Risotto. Dude's terrifying.

Also stone ocean wins if we include heavy weather. Dunno why he allowed jotaro time stop but didnt give weather heavy weather? Literally nobody has a counter other than rohan (writes on himself “cannot turn into a snail”) and rohan still loses to weathers normal abilities

Part 1 and 2 were not included because of Speedwagon and Strohiem. Speedwagon has no weakness and Strohiem has German Science which is unbeatable.
@4:19 - Rohan has an ability where he basically has to hold up a piece of paper, and it's GG. Even if enemies close their eyes, he could just blast them with heaven's door closer-ranged move. The result is the same. Turn enemies into book boys.

I think you're underrating Iggy. We see him in *extremely* few fights where he's, y'know, actually trying. Both of those fights were against extremely powerful Stand users in Vanilla Ice and Pet Shop, with Pet Shop notably having the outside advantage of being able to fly, and Cream notably being well built for a matchup against a Stand that relies on reshaping materials. Plus, The Fool is easily second only to Star Platinum The World imo. The ability not only to reshape the Stand to Iggy's whim, not only to also control the nearby sand to Iggy's whim, but we see in the Cream fight that he can either dissolve *people,* himself included into sand to hide/move, or turn sand into a two-way portal. That ability just kind of pulls him over the edge into "Araki what the hell is this" territory.
But you know there is that part 5 bias

Not to mention underplaying Avdol, like legit Avdol has one of the strongest stands in the part. Also, he kinda unfairly ranked Fugo, there are few stands there that contest against Purple Haze.
Iggy cannot make people into sand. I don't know where you got that from. In the vanilla ice fight, Polnareff and Iggy hide inside some stairs iggy made of sand, because vanilla ice has made a hole in those stairs. But we never see him turn people or objects into sand. His stand is just made out of sand, that's his only power. It's strong, but not that strong.

2. Star Platinum- The World is too op.

I feel like Magician's Red is a lot comparable to Aerosmith in power. So is the Fool but to a lower extent. The user can will Magician's Red to be as hot as it wants to be essentially melting literally every object at will and it has some decent range as well. The Fool similarly can summon as much sand as the user wills it to and thanks to the user being Iggy has incredible mobility as well as well as detection (unless the target happens to be in a completely different dimension). The Fool also serves as a great decoy stand. Also suprised Fugo got as less wins as he did having a stand like that.

Listed Gamer True, but that’s still cutting close for an airborne virus. Though since magician’s red and hermit purple with Hamon counter it completely, it isn’t really necessary. In all honesty, a lot of the main cast in part 5 can’t actually deal with the stand users from part 3, mainly because the part 3 stands are just basic and strong. Like Magician’s Red controls fire, Star Platinum makes up shit on the fly, make after images (justice fight), punch ftl (black Polnareff fight), has the strongest base stand ability, if not like third or second best in all of Jojo, and has the best stand stats literally ever, Silver Chariot is ftl and can mitigate damage with armour, Hierophant Green is a pretty good ranged stand with moves like the ‘20 meter emerald splash,’ Iggy’s stand being able to manipulate any sand particulate like gravel and such can be incredibly versatile, finishing off with Hermit Purple which isn’t the best but has Joseph Joestar as a user, someone who can think out of the box which fits him perfectly.
Part 5 stands and their users have a good thing going for them, but a lot of them don’t have the raw power to get the edge on the Part 3 group since both groups have pretty decent strategists (leaning more in part 5’s favour here though).

Speedwagon would beat everyone senseless
Purple Haze is pretty underrated too, just like Aerosmith. Its virus could kill anything almost instantly within its range, it has a super strong barrage and it can launch its virus capsules super far away if given enough force without breaking it, so really its range is better than just close combat.
Rohan is so unbelievably overpowered because Heaven’s Door has the potential for domination. Like he can write into Josuke, “Cannot take damage from Jotaro” and boom. Immediately takes care of one of the strongest stand users.
He could essentially make anyone godlike.
