I had my Sonos for over a year before by accident I saw that you had to go to your tv settings and put the arc on pass-though on the tv setting and the Dolby atmos on and wow it came to life the acoustics was absolutely amazing thought I was at the proms Sonos is one of the best home cinema I have looked at and heard but you need to know how to tune it to get the best out of it I have just started using surround sound on my arc after using stereo pair for some time and surround sound 😮is a class of its own you will hear the sound come from every direction and though you words can not express how much Sonos have put into this system and the updates keep making it better 😃 so folks hurry up and buy 🎉 you won’t be disappointed 10/10

around 02:00 are you saying "once you have your surround speakers where you want them. make sure you add both speakers to your system as seperate rooms"? So in the sonos app you should add sonos ARC to one room and the 2 ERA 300 to another room? and then set them up as surround?
I'm so depressed. Our LG OLED TV has a very short stand so we couldn't place the soundbar in front of the TV. We purchased a new TV stand that has a soundbar shelf, and now I'm watching this video *after* my husband spent 2 hours assembling the stand. The sound will be blocked on the top of my new Sonos Arc 😳
Hi Robin, thanks for reaching out. The Sonos Arc is not compatible with another home theater receiver. We do invite you to give our Sales team a call. They will be more than happy to go over Sonos system solutions for your current set up: www.sonos.com/contact
Picking up ARC, ERA 100's and Gen 3 Sub along with a new LG 77" OLED today for my parents. LG sits low on stand and SONOS claims "Minimum of 4" between bottom of TV and top of soundbar" In this video by SONOS it clearly isn't. How important is this ? While I can be creative on raising TV just a tad, the best & quickest is the SANUS Elite Swivel TV Stand that definitely raise it to 4" above ARC. It's $170. ARC is already looking to be 1.4"above bottom of screen. Just wondering how important it is if it's not even 4" above in this video. Thanks.
When I got the Sonos Arc for my LG OLED I noticed that the Arc blocks the bottom of the TV screen. I solved this by going to IKEA and picking up a wall shelf called LACK. I then placed my LG OLED TV on that shelf (which I placed on my TV bench). So now the Arc sits perfectly in front of the TV and my TV isn't blocked by the Arc.
Hi Aaron, sorry to hear your Google commands aren't working. If Google Assistant isn’t responding or your commands are not working correctly, there may be something preventing Google Assistant from hearing or processing your request. Here is an article about Google Assistant commands that may help: support.sonos.com/article/control-sonos-with-the-google-assistant Let us know how it goes!
The Arc not having a volume adjustment, at this price point, is very disappointing. I just got a Sonos system and am jaw dropped at the low dialogue on dvd movies and streaming. Unacceptable for a several thousand dollar system

@sonos thanks! Could you please take a video of the setting for the Sub mini ?

Why do you need to set them up as separate rooms?
He says to set them up as separate rooms, but in the video, he set it up under the same room as his arc. I'm confused.
I'd like to know this as well.
@@nathansinger1171 I ended up setting them up in the same room (Living Room) and it works perfectly fine. There is no need to do separate rooms
this arc can with laptop connect please
All this technology and high cost, but no bluetooth!! Even cheapo $30 soundbars have bluetooth. So frustrating!

The era 300s should be same room otherwise it won't allow the arc to set up as surround sound...
