Because fgo meta/looping brain rot impedes our ability to view AOE servants as anything but farming units. Which is a shame. I’m sure it’s difficult for the devs to make AOE units that can’t loop farm because of the backlash they’ll get from the community. “My brother in Christ, we have so many farming units why does this new AOE servant have to loop farm?”
They seem to be set on trying to make quick relatively poor loopers and more CQ centric. It's fine except there aren't enough CQs to warrant making 1 of 3 servant types this way, perhaps they will make more CQs to make it worthwhile.
AND the fact everytime they've made enough CQs to make it worthwhile... people hate it cause it's in a limited time event which makes people burnt out xD
From what I’ve seen if her kit, I think she’s a very solid tank if you give her the right supports (read Castoria because she’s the best servant in the game HAHAHAHAHA). The only issue I can see is what quick support to give her as Skadi has pretty much a monopoly on that shit. Maybe her performance will get greatly improved when a more survival oriented quick support (Abe no Seimei please I beg) is added
She's meh - nobody is beating Habs when it comes to farming Riders until we get the Super Steroid *5 version, but she does provide Quick a solid enough defensive option that has multiple different flavors of ramp built into her kit. I wish she were ST, though, or perhaps even do the FSR Saber option of giving her one _really_ big debuff on one target to simulate ST Damage while still having some AoE potential.
In terms of the quick units not getting great batteries, Ushi’s 50% battery was one of the most overlooked thing about her kit but I was really happy that she got it. I feel like everyone was too busy complaining about the star bomb being attached to it but you can either just save it for the last wave or use it to crit this turn and save the np for the next turn. Also in terms of another quick support, I’m pretty sure she’s supposed to be paired with Yui. She has a quick and arts up to take advantage of Yui NP to get an attack and crit buff plus if you use her with summer skadi you also get access to the buster up and the NP damage boost as well. Yui provides a sizable heal tied to overcharge on her NP so you can either put her NP first to get the NP, Attack and crit buffs before damage or if you need to heal more you can put her NP later in the chain for bigger heals I’ve said it since she launched but i think Yui is the new quick support in disguise. Arts units tend to only use their arts cards. Buster units want to use their buster cards all of the time. Quick has always been the card that gets the most of their entire deck and Attack, NP damage and Crit damage buffs are three of the buffs every quick unit wants the only thing missing is an NP gain buff Maybe it’s just because i don’t have Oberon on JP but i genuinely feel like she’s a better plugsuit option for quick than Oberon
Honestly I wish they brought back animation updates and more skill enhancements for older servants. Ever since lasangle took over there was none of that. I don't really care too much for most of these new servants. There have been some good ones but I wish they gave the older servants some more loving.
People default to "how loop?" and fair enough because the farming in this game wants it. But Andromeda is one of those "you want this, but it's not because it loops" things that good players get, sometimes with time.
I must say that I am at a point in which FGO is not relevant anymore. The stories are taking too long, and the mechanics of the game have lost their luster. It is good to see Andromeda for Valentine's Day but with 9 of the last 12 servants representing Far East Asia, FGO diversity and excitement are lacking. The idea of launching event servants during Anniversary and New Year's has watered down the sense that those dates are special. Aesc was a summer event servant, and Takeru was a Samurai Remnant event servant. I don't know where FGO is going, but I have seen myself playing it less and less. At least 2024 is a great year for NA.
Nah, she is bad, way worse than f2p options like Habetrot. Can't loop properly, can't be used as wave 1 killer because she lacks enough charge and aoe Skills. You are better off using day 1 servant like Drake.

She really needed a support NP., make the 50% def hit based and stackable, higher def down, Heal of some form and thrown in a damage modifier of some kind and she would be a great Crit support. Cause honestly why use her over Reines.....
