Do you think you will be posting any more videos on this game? If not would you consider playing blood bowl 2 because these videos are really entertaining.
We’re coming to a point where micro transactions are going to be needed to play an actual game after you already fork out for the base game. I give the game industry another 2-3 years with this model before we see a resurgence of “classic” game design. Where you get what was promised and paid for.
Also had 3 on my lost and was stoked it was coming out but after hearing everything about it I think I might just go back to 2 and pickup the other DLCs I never bothered getting.
In comparison to a bunch of other games the price of warpstone isn't THAT bad, though I am someone who basically will never buy them regardless. The non-shareable skins is pretty egregious though, especially given the incedibly limited number available. Including custimisations on AI teams that you literally cannot get in any way is also incredibly stupid, the whole point of having them in is supposed to make you want them, which in turn encourages you to spend money.
So disappointing. The blood bowl series has been an odd combination of compelling gameplay presented in the worst ways. The perpetual re-release of BB2 under an new name with a handful of additions was grating. BB3 just seems nonsensical.
You'd be surprised how stupid and wasteful many people are. Some spend hundreds of dollars... a month. For over a year. I played a couple of free to play aka pay to win android games, just seeing how far you can go without spending money. Just save up any free "gems" and don't waste them on speedups or things you can grind or get eventually anyway. When I see this, I'm thinking, why can't these morons spend it on a real game, a PC game that actually took loads of people years to develop?! tl;dr So, in principle it's a nice option for cosmetic things, but view it as a donation to support the makers! I would expect it to be user-friendly onlocks (any player of that type) and slightly more options for a lower price (like 10$ to equip an entire team and any future teams of that faction). Kinda like a dlc. The multiplayer mess is something you'd be embarrassed for in an alpha... No words for it really.
Seems like the game is bad on many fronts. I hate the microtransaction model. I think they based their pricing on fortnite or something where my son and his friends drop like 15 bucks to a skin with accessories. I just often play that with all my options set to random for the like 80 skins I have unlocked based on an initial 8 dollar buy in plus time playing with my son.
Hold off until AT LEAST when Season 1 is released (End of May) they "may" have gotten it under control by then... and it'll certainly be much easier to see just how slimy their monitization practices are.
I mean there is no point in sbmm in any.pvp game but again why in a trs system. That is literally the old school sbmm but it works. Sow why in this kind of game.
This reminds me of the bullshit that PoE does with cosmetics. If you have a cosmetic and want to equip it on 2 (or more) of your chars, you need to buy it twice, or you can only equip it on one after unequipping it from the other first. Even though it's a game where you can only play one character at a time anyway!
Sorry to hear that but Im still sticking with 3. BB2 wasnt a bed of roses when it first launched and now look at it. I had 7 good online matches out 2 bad one's. Dont care about the microshit cause I bought this game for Blood Bowl not Barbies dress up. As for the datamine stuff, well the dev. said your getting 12 team at launch its your own fault for peeking and its not that of a big deal if your a patient person. Anyway great rant and cant wait for your next game with Nurgle. Take care.
With the utmost respect is is a Barbies dress up, and the fact that you have to pay through the nose to play barbies dress up is, as stated, bullshit. If you don't want to fiddle about with that part of the game that's absolutely fine. It's just weird you jump on a video about that aspect of the game to related how little you care about it. As for the teams being left in the game, I don't really care all that much. It just really shows what an absolute shit show the release was. As much as the recent community update tried to smooth things over they're currently sitting at mostly negative and 3 months before they implement any actual season features which is their whole "live service" model. I want to like this game, I want it to do well. I'm just not convinced it won't be all but dead in 3 months.

How do you really feel?
Not angry, just disappointed... which we all know is worse
I should be outraged, but it's Games Workshop, so it just feels unsurprising.
Welp, seems like Blood Bowl 2 is the one to go with.
At the moment, certainly
So disappointing. The blood bowl series has been an odd combination of compelling gameplay presented in the worst ways. The perpetual re-release of BB2 under an new name with a handful of additions was grating. BB3 just seems nonsensical.
You'd be surprised how stupid and wasteful many people are.
Some spend hundreds of dollars... a month. For over a year. I played a couple of free to play aka pay to win android games, just seeing how far you can go without spending money. Just save up any free "gems" and don't waste them on speedups or things you can grind or get eventually anyway. When I see this, I'm thinking, why can't these morons spend it on a real game, a PC game that actually took loads of people years to develop?!
tl;dr
So, in principle it's a nice option for cosmetic things, but view it as a donation to support the makers!
"Is this fun" has taken a backseat to "Is this free money" in gaming these days, it's fucking abominable
Don't buy this game, it's actually sad.
Welcome to live services.
Sow they literally put sbmm in a turn based pvp game why exactly.
At the time of this writing, Blood Bowl 2 Legendary Edition is 4.49 EUR on Gamers Gate... just sayin'
I got 1000 from pre order the basic one
oh wow it was really disappointing.... and here I really enjoyed your Blood Bowl video and considers buying it
Hold off until AT LEAST when Season 1 is released (End of May) they "may" have gotten it under control by then... and it'll certainly be much easier to see just how slimy their monitization practices are.
nahhh think imma give this one a pass swipin to the fuckin left as it were
I mean there is no point in sbmm in any.pvp game but again why in a trs system. That is literally the old school sbmm but it works. Sow why in this kind of game.
I'll just stick with FUMBBL.
Disgusting, this is an outright scam.
At least the customizations aren't NFTs
...yet
Thumbs up for the use of 'fucknut'. Needless to say, won't be buying 'cos microtransactions
The difference is that PoE is F2P
Part 2 looks way better anyways
And what do you think deablo 4 will be. Will see. But it's blizzard.
Welcome to modern gaming 😁😃🤑🤮🤯💩😉🤥🐮🐋😈. The devil's we no sadly.
I'm afraid this is about making money.
It'll probably end up costing them in the end.
Why y’all getting so worked up ? We have blood Bowl 2 we don’t need a lesser version heavily influenced by EA This s Diablo immortal with a football
4 the algorithm. Micotransactions suk.
could play blood bowl 2 please?
Pproper BS!
Try destiny 2. I no it's not rts based system but it's better than this and Yes it does have sbmm but it's better than nothing at this point.
@@MonstersAbound Sorry, I didnt mean to start a fight after re-reading my post I came off of as an asshole. I just get tired of watching people playing this game having fun only the next day crying wolf of "Dont buy this game" or telling people on what to do with thier money. Anyway dont let this issue get you down or my comment. We still have BB2 till this mess is fixed. Take care 🙂.
Ok the damn game isnt even officially out yet its buggy as all hell and your complaining about customizations. Look what do you think is priority fixing the game or worry about the dress up part.
...the second bit.
Priority for the devs? Yeah, definitely the second bit.
Did you see the official roadmap for the game? A pause function and resume after disconnect are planned for season 2 in August! Unbelievable. The microtransaction skins are already in place, though. There's your priority.
The game was officially released yesterday, btw. And the state of the game is just mind-bogglingly bad. At this point, I'm almost shocked they bothered to implement a way to close the game without having to ALT-F4. Would have made a nice feature to look forward to in Season 3.
Hardcore Monetization?
Blood Bowl 3 is already 🪦 for me before I bought it. I really wanted it, but now seeing this 2:00 💩, no thx Cyanide! I stick with Blood Bowl 2 now.
It wouldn't be so bad if you only had to pay Warpstone for one customization and could use it infinitely, (even this is s**t) instead of paying for every f*****g Player and Team.
I assumed that Bloodbowl 3 died on release. It had better after the money grubbing from Chaos Edition, 2, 2s various DLCs, etc'
There are 3 months till season 1 (which is bonkers in itself) leave it till then and see if its improved, which would be my advice
