After 2 games you’d expect the 3rd will be the best one yet, but nope lol. I’ll stuck with Blood Bowl 2 Legendary for now and probably buy the first game’s Chaos Edition too considering It’s for 1.49€ right now.
Definitely grab Chaos Edition in the current sale, the singleplayer is great - bar a few decade-old bugs (avoid using custom saved formations, might remove 1 player from the drive). Worth a couple euros, hope you enjoy!
BB3 being a heap of feces isn't even the most blood boiling fact. It's more that they keep blatantly shoving lies in our faces. That audacity despite their incompetence makes me livid.
I just want to play single-player, offline. I don't so much crave customization, I just want good gameplay and metagame. However, I'm really sad to see no mutation models. That's a big deal, for me.
BB Chaos edition is probably the best game i took the time to learn and master, it took me months, maybe years but finally i could dominate my opponents after so much hard work That alone gives it a special place in my heart
I agree completely with you spending 40 quid on bb3 excited for the game only to be disappointed about lag, speed and AI and especially when I could just go back to chaos edition which I already have many hours on
i actually picked up chaos edition and 2's legendary edition after hearing them being so much better than 3. i can't speak for 3 since i never picked it up, but i did find chaos edition and 2's legendary edition to be both quite fun. i only wish 2 accommadated mods, even just cosmetic ones.
If you want updated rules and a game that works you can play fumbbl and for a customization thats equal to bb3s you can just tape some pictures to you monitor and shred your money

Haha! I loved that you compared BB3 to BBCE. I still run a league on BBCE cos the features just seem nicer. Yeah, there are some bugs, but we add a "gentleman's agreement" to overcome them.
I got bb3 constantly disconnected and trow me to desktop every 30-45 min of game. No need to say that game think that it means that i conside, match is losed, fans lost, no money but injuries (and spp) still remains. So i just cant play 1 game. Even vs ai it works (to be honest less consistently, i even meneged to complete pirate story, disconected only 50% times, eeeee).
I can't play BB1 for three good reasons. The game has horrible ergonomics, is unstable and above all extremely heavy and slow. BB3 (or 2 which has the best ergonomics) does not contain the strong points of BB1 which are the World Cups ETC of cours... but BB1 it is horrible to handle. I say this as a Dwarf Fortress player...It's to tell you that I can't stand BB1 anymore. And yet, the gods know that I played this game, whether on PC or PSP when I was away from home.

bb1 was cleaner graphically and easier to play for me than bb2
bb1 also had superior live game spectating
It'd be nice to see a bigger online/multiplayer scene for bb1 for sure
