We've watched you over the years more than any "real press media" TV and online combined....one of the most down to earth people out there and stay true to who you are! Their loss!
That was my first show back after Covid, the tour opener in Minnesota. No vaccination requirement because it was outdoors, but I certainly wouldn't have attended if they were requiring it.
Part of the reason merch is so expensive is because a lot of venues are charging the bands a % on each merch item sold now. Bands are getting screwed by venues/ticket vendors just as much as fans.
Adam, don't be so butt hurt just adapt Put your camera back in the car And use your phone it's no big deal You may have got some great footage while you're in there Now we will never know.

manfrotto is so rebellious, manfrotto is punk rock. It's funny that they don't allow small cameras in, when most platforms, especially youtube, have copyright strikes and any monetization would be blocked thereof. It's ridiculous how much seeing live music costs so much these days also. Thanks for showing us around vegas. Looking forward to where you will take us while you're out in that area.
it's not ridiculous, broadway plays on and off broadway are a fortune b/c of the people involved. It's an entire production with dozens if not hundreds of crew workers. IT costs a lot of money from the permits to pull on a show, to transportation (look up rental costs of vehicles for tour) and so much more. Often times even at $40 a ticket smaller bands ARE LOSING MONEY going out on tour. YES it does suck EVERYTHING is more expensive in 2023 however would you work for free?
Absolutely spot on there Adam. One of your best videos for full on reaction to something so dumb and pointless, which seems to be the norm nowadays sadly. In the UK we call these people "jobsworth". They cant see past a list and use their brains to break free. Keep doing what you do Adam as the world needs your reality.
Adam I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been turned away from places because of my DSLR I can’t imagine the frustration with having the G7x and not being able film bc of stupid rules. These kind of rules do leave a bad taste in your mouth . Keep up the good stuff man love the honesty
A cell phone isn't made for the purpose of professional filming. It is a phone first and foremost with the added benefit of being a tiny personal computer. The camera that was not allowed has one purpose only; to take pictures and video. It's purpose was to do what they were trying most to discourage; post professional, monetized videos on UA-cam of the performances. Feel free to rant, rave and complain about it all you want. It's a free country, but it wasn't a mature look.
Very cool that you were in guttermouth, I listened to them when I was growing up, and also started watching this channel before the daily woo even started. Very interesting how these two things in my life have have somehow connected. Also, the only concert big" concert I've ever been to where the T-Shirt was less than $30 was Weird Al last year in Vegas.
My Dad took our kids to Magic Kingdom today and we all thought of you. The kids kept saying "HERE COMES THE MONORAIL!" and "THERE GOES THE MONORAIL!" Hope your trip gets better dude!🤘
I feel your pain, Adam. I've been attending concerts since 1970. I wish that I could pinpoint the time when certain concertgoers f'ed it up for the rest of us. Stones at Altamont in 1969? We may not have the same musical tastes, yet I think we share the love for music.
Rules are rule whether you agree or not. You are there by choice. I could understand the frustration if this was government law. If you want in there are rules you have to follow.😊
Thanks for the rant! It's totally a case of skewed priorities . I'm a photographer and had media badge to cover a rodeo star',s last ride at NFR. The casino management forbid me to shoot anywhere on the property except some lame balcony area. They sent a security guard to watch me and disrupt our shoot like every five minutes. He also forbade me to even point my camera at the lobby area of the stadium. Meanwhile some rodeo fans came by and they were able to shoot anywhere they wanted with their phones, and they even took selfies with the rodeo star, and honestly probably got better footage than me. It was one of the worst shoots in my career. Contrast that to when I shot a rodeo at MSG in New York, where they gave me full access to the stadium, even the locker rooms, and even the bull pen. They even let influencers in to sensitive areas with their manfrottos... no problems... I guess it's a vegas thing... maybe has to do with the casino security... IDK. But your rant is totally justified!
YOU tell them Adam!! I total understand. I felt that way with Disney World in April. I felt like security was giving me the third degree every time I brought my gimbal stabilizer for my cell phone. One security guy even ask if the bottom was pepper spray. 😮 I am sure they see lots of vloggers go into Disney and they are going to bother me. I just got aggravated after this happening to me twice I just stopped taking it into the parks.
Amen Adam I’m considering you yelp for that event and was planning on going next year and you changed my mind, you brought up excellent points and I couldn’t agree with you more. Keep up the great work you are freaking amazing. Rock on and stay safe.
I goota be honest....i understand what Adam is saying...why hes upset...totally get it. But.....problem is hes letting not just ruin the experience of the concert...hes letting it destroy the entire day......the vlog....which is his job as he's said many times....the planned time in Vegas......so letting it kill his time onthe road.......everything. i live in Vegas...worked as a street performer for quite a few years......and not a sign holder...but an actual performer. And trust me.......street performers went through some really stupid rules...really stupid!!! And for years day after day....so not just once. But i didnt let it ruin everything else for the day...if i had i would have never made any money on any day. So i had two choices......sulk.....or do what i do and do my job. I like Adam...have been watching for years....but this...kinda changed my perspective on him a little.....it was like a little kid being told NO in a toy store and going home and just sulking all day. I really hate it to sound like an insult......because again....i like him and his content....i will say that to anyone who asks.....but i thought he was more of an adult about things....and it just came across as a very juvenile rant. And yes...it is his channel as he said...his content....no arguing that....you can do what you want. But anytime you put something out like this.. especially something you take pride in doing...and i believe he does do that...its obvious. But anytime you put something out there....and especially something so out of the norm for you.....people will react good and bad. Again...not trying to insult....just...wondering if i've had the wrong perception of him over the years. Anyway...just my thoughs.
I was there all three nights and overall, it was a good experience. I did NOT wait for the barrier to get fixed, glad to hear that it took so long for them to comeback on cuz I did not want to waste my time. Also, on the final night I lost my car keys inside the venue and When I tried to go back in to look for them, the security gave me such a difficult time. I was with my girlfriend and my 6-month old daughter and the security there gave two F's about us being stranded out there late at night in downtown Vegas.
Totally agree with you Adam, it's so ridiculous to say no camera equipment and then allow phones in, so many smart phones have professional quality cameras now, they are better quality than a lot of actual point and shoot cameras. They were definitely not giving off a punk rock vibe. I hate when something like this ruins your whole experience. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Love your videos.
If smartphones are so good then he should just bring in his smartphone. He can afford the best one anyway. Security in these events isn't getting trained on what camera to draw the line at. They are just assuming that any dedicated handheld camera these days is a more serious camera. No one really uses any dedicated camera anymore that aren't at least prosumer level quality because cell phones are so good so it isn't really an unreasonable assumption. The real problem is they should have been consistent with the rules in the first place.
Love this Adam! 😊 You are 100% correct! Went to a concert about a month ago in an Auditorium, and they told us, no video. Concert starts, everyone starts video recording, and it was obvious! Sometimes you gotta let off some steam, and you will probably get more views on this, than you expected! You don’t want my opinion on Vegas! It will reveal itself! Last place on my bucket list, and then I would rather be home! 😉 Your still at the top of my UA-camrs! Always have been! This Vlog definitely is awesome! 😊 Keep being Adam! 👍🏻
Yep, true true because Adam rarely does anything that would warrant a "hey, u can't do that". He has come so far and always follows the rules now to a t. I don't like when ppl tell him no either cuz I feel like he's the every man and I'm out there with him getting sh***ed on too! Lol 😂😅
Blame streaming on why stuff so expensive. The only way they can make money is selling merch. (A lot of times the venues even take a cut of their merch sales)
I thought the same thing. At a festival like this, I can imagine the bands are probably relying more on merch sales than their "cut" of the ticket sales. I went to a Cold concert two weeks ago, the tickets were $25 and the shirts were $30. I bought a shirt because it was exclusive to the tour and I wanted to support the band.
Very few places have told me I couldn’t film for UA-cam, as it’s free advertisement for them. But the reasons I’ve been given are: 1) I’ll show all there is to see, such as in a museum, and then people will have no reason to visit. 2) ANY bulky equipment might cause others to get hurt. People might trip over tripods. People might run into my big, full size pro video camera (like my Canon XA10). But, run through with an iPhone 12 Pro Max that takes 4K video: perfectly acceptable. My biggest gripe is that National Parks now want you to pay a fee, for the privilege of filming for UA-cam, or any other monetized production. Any size.
Adam is 100% wrong on this one! In another life I worked on video crews shooting live events. I've had to negotiate with everyone from coordinators to union shop stewards long before taking gear into their venues. If you're going to do make your living doing this, then be professional! You need to grow up and follow the rules. I don't care if you're a YT vlogger or a large television network, we all must follow the rules (even if when don't make sense), and show these people respect and it will go a long way. Remember, you're in their house!!!
@@TheDailyWoo Doesn't matter. Woo, you didn't go in there as a 'normal attendee', you went in to monetize content (and that's fine), but like it or not, you need to try to be professional. I've been doing live events for a long, long time. This was a bunch of 'amateur hour' bulls#$t and venues have no respect for that.

You tell them Adam! I don't blame you for being annoyed, I am in Nebraska, went to Pentatonix with a friend, not only did they encourage us to shoot tag and post, they filmed Us from the stage and did it too, I also went to 4 shows at events at a smaller venue including Buck cherry and we could film whatever and post and it was encouraged. Its pointless to not embrace ways to get the music to its audience. Haven't been to Vegas since I was a kid, changed some since 1980. Keep up the awesome work!

I have a small point and shoot camera too. I went to Pennhurst Asylum for their haunted attraction. Years ago, they allowed you to take pictures in this one area (they do not allow it anymore). I brought my camera. After I got there, they told me I couldnt bring it in. I said, "But the website says cameras are allowed" and they said, "No, only cell phone cameras" This was DUMBEST thing I have ever heard. Never went back.
That is a ridiculous rule and I understand your frustration especially when you pay good money sucks that happened Adam keep doing what you do and posting what you enjoy. Head out to Cali and go meet up with Scott and make some fantastic videos together. I remember the ball game it was during the Stanley cup playoffs last year
When I was in White Knuckle Ride we made a stencil with posterboard and scissors and spray painted our logo onto tshirts. When we upgraded to a screen printer the shirts looked nicer and the price went up VERY slightly but no one bought them so we sold the screen printer and went back to spray painting them. Haha.
Looks like your Canon has some dirt inside the lens, like the last one you had. Time to replace it again? Why not just use your iPhone for filming? The footage you showed from the previous night actually looked better than what you record with the Canon.

Honestly, you could be 10000% in the wrong in a given situation and you still have the right to vlog that human experience because your channel I feel is about that. Tomorrow’s a new day!
I love when the Woo gets grumpy. Cool video, Adam.
He must be so fun to be with when he doesn’t get his way. Waaaaa waaaa!
Thank you for this. This is one of my fave vlogs you’ve done. All common sense has gone out the window and I appreciate you calling it out as it is and not bending to the ridiculousness.
If ever there was a 50 year old man who needed to go to Disneyland today, it must have been you Adam.
Ouch…
How is that “ouch”? They’re saying he deserves to go somewhere to make him happy after the stress.
Adam, so sorry for this bad experience in Vegas. And, as a Denverite, really sorry for your Coors Field experience too. The "rules" for average people like us defy logic. Having one of those "bad" days myself and having to justify being "in the right" is EXHAUSTING. ALWAYS behind you, showing support! 👏👊🙋🏼♀️💙
“Normal people get crapped on”. So true Adam… so true!!
Adam, I laughed out loud at this one, simply because i feel your frustrations ✊🏻 Enjoyed the video very much my friend 👌🏻
Can I just say this was one of the most entertaining videos you've recorded. 👍 And yes, you absolutely can voice your thoughts and opinions on your channel. Sorry it went the way it did. But keep on chugging along, giving us great videos. On to the next adventure Adam!!!
We've watched you over the years more than any "real press media" TV and online combined....one of the most down to earth people out there and stay true to who you are! Their loss!
I probably would have just put the camera in the car and filmed with my phone. Principles I guess, eh?
Me too.💫
Yep . When I’m pissed about a rule that makes no sense I’m gonna talk about it
This reminds me when we wanted to go to the Dropkick Murphy/Rancid concert and couldn’t get in because I wasn’t vaccinated. So punk rock lol
Pure Bloods!!!!
@@drudi1234 he’s also bitter his punk rock days amounted to nothing
Adam, don't be so butt hurt just adapt Put your camera back in the car And use your phone it's no big deal You may have got some great footage while you're in there Now we will never know.
$40 for a tshirt is high. On the other hand have you seen apparel prices at any of the Disney stores?
Two different animals.
Festivals are for teenagers.
Also, punk is not counter-culture anymore.
Rage on-behalf-of-the Machine.
I'd love to see the Philly Captain watching this video. He'd totally crack up when you offered understanding to the event organizers for their need to pay a large hired staff to tell you to put your camera away! 😂😂😅 I thought you were going to offer conciliation about understanding the 90 dollar fee, but it was the best dig of them all! Go Adam!!
Time to write a punk rock song called Dumb Rules and Wasted Money
That should be the new anthem of modern punk rock
Old man yelling at cloud vibe 😂😂
Haha true . We all have our moments I suppose
I feel your pain and frustration. I'm sure the upcoming days will be better. Hang in there and keep up the good work!!!
I can't stop binge watching. Your videos help calm me tremendously, especially when my anxiety kicks in
Thank you for the 29 minutes. I’ll never get back.
honestly one day i'd love to have a punk band have concerts with merch under 10 dollars and let people like you bring in cameras and enjoy the show i miss old real punk
manfrotto is so rebellious, manfrotto is punk rock.
I think he needs to make a Manfrotto bumper sticker Adam the woo style. 😊.
So, Adam didn't like the rules and throws a paddy. Ok.
Influencer entitlement is real in this video
Fist up to the normal folk 😂 Adam, you’re the best!! I needed the humor this morning! Normal people UNITE!!!
Absolutely!! Bless him!! He had me laughing there at the end 😂 !! Fist up!
This episode was refreshing! Loved hearing you just tell it how it is/was! 👏
I’m with you Adam. That was beyond ridiculous how they couldn’t let you film with the small camera you had.
Adam I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been turned away from places because of my DSLR I can’t imagine the frustration with having the G7x and not being able film bc of stupid rules. These kind of rules do leave a bad taste in your mouth . Keep up the good stuff man love the honesty
Can't read signs or something?
As prices go, think of Vegas like Disney World, it’s all a theme park 😂
Rules are rule whether you agree or not. You are there by choice. I could understand the frustration if this was government law. If you want in there are rules you have to follow.😊
And I didn’t follow them .
I agree that event rules don't always make sense either that's why I don't to many events anymore. Great video either way! Thanks for the reply.
Wow! I really enjoy your videos so much, thank you. To see this side of you Mr. Woo is double wow!
Sorry to hear about your negative experience Adam. You are amazing. ❤
The soothing voice of the woo always helps my day!
Travel videos are Adam’s best videos.
I agree with you 100%! Adam is at his best when he is on the road.
Anyway...just my thoughs.
adam: "i'll stand out here in the scorching heat."
adam: lives in swamp ass florida
🤣🤣
I was there all three nights and overall, it was a good experience. I did NOT wait for the barrier to get fixed, glad to hear that it took so long for them to comeback on cuz I did not want to waste my time. Also, on the final night I lost my car keys inside the venue and When I tried to go back in to look for them, the security gave me such a difficult time. I was with my girlfriend and my 6-month old daughter and the security there gave two F's about us being stranded out there late at night in downtown Vegas.
Complaining about non existent $40 tee shirts , while flying first class in Orlando is peek boomer . A three day pass was $120 on a blind sale .
Want some cheese with that whine? Rules are rules. Learn to deal with it.
Great points made! Love your video's! Thanks for sharing!
Adam I feel your frustration my friend. Don’t let it change who you are. ❤😅
Man, an Adam the Woo rant is weird, but you cant look away.
It's a very gentle rant. Adam, hope you got a good night's sleep and at least saw the Punk Rock Museum.
Adam is all fired up. He hates to be told no.
Yep, true true because Adam rarely does anything that would warrant a "hey, u can't do that". He has come so far and always follows the rules now to a t. I don't like when ppl tell him no either cuz I feel like he's the every man and I'm out there with him getting sh***ed on too! Lol 😂😅
Scary trait for a man to have
This was the rant that 2023 UA-cam needs.
Blame streaming on why stuff so expensive. The only way they can make money is selling merch. (A lot of times the venues even take a cut of their merch sales)
EDC Vegas was charging $30 for a burrito $98 for a pizza. So there’s that.
When youre so beyond annoyed all you can do is laugh. I feel this.
I have never seen the “get off my lawn” Adam. I actually loved it. Lol. Go Adam.
It's there decision the bands probably agreed due to copyright laws
MAN YELLS AT WINDSHIELD
It's 2023 ...bands got to make money. They barely make money off touring so merch is their bread and butter. You buy DVC....don't bitch.
Wasted money is a Las Vegas tradition lol
Watching for years but made it a bigger deal than should have everything is overpriced and missed Dropkick
But the reasons I’ve been given are:
1) I’ll show all there is to see, such as in a museum, and then people will have no reason to visit.
I’m not wrong at all . This is not a professional camera
“Not that you love Vegas to begin with”. That hurt my soul. I will keep the rest of my opinion about that statement to myself but that one hurt.
I don’t love it . There are things I like about it but Definetly not my favorite place
I think it's good to rant our frustrations once in a while..its healthy. But as a viewer watching 21 mins of it..not so much exciting but glad u let it out .. now pivot and have fun ur in vegas 😊👍
Great to see you are human Adam. I loved the video. Keep up the great work.
Love your videos man but you come off like a huge toddler in this, were you not aware of the various security reasons vegas is so tight? Did you forget what happened or do you think the world revolved around you?
Not making light of your annoying camera situation but this vid had me rolling the whole time, LMAO!!! Normally when a vlogger rants I just exit the video but something about your jabs every 30 seconds was just too funny, never seen this side of you, lol. Btw, love how youʻre very independent unto yourself and donʻt care about freebies and media special access, itʻs refreshing 😊
You spent the entire video complaining about essentially nothing. I want my 21 minutes back.
You didn’t pay $90 to watch this video.
@@johnp139 What's your point? He's the fool for paying $90 and deciding to die on the wrong hill, and then film a 21 minute video of a 49 year old having a temper tantrum because it didn't go his way.
Your comment is worse than Adam complaining about stupid rules at a "punk rock" show since all you had to do was sit your f@t @ss there and watch a free video on your couch
Enjoyed the rant! You’re a lovely human. Always impressed with your honesty.
The spoiled brat has spoken.
Used to live in Henderson Nevada back in the day. It was cool being a kid and living that close to Vegas. Got to see so many cool things, i remember going to The Excalibur and getting my picture taken with a screen used Michael Keaton Batmobile. Or standing outside the mirage and watching The Volcano, definitely have some great memories of Vegas!
LOL this is the second time we were both filming downtown on the same day and didn't bump into each other. They are weird about cameras in the downtown festivals. Great video, Adam.
i can understand your frustrations , you traveled and spent money . plus looking forward to seeing some bands i remember having some of these issues once when i went to a concert . hopefully you can reset your day an be able to still have fun an enjoy while your in Las vagas
This was so hilarious hearing you complain like this.
Either punk is dead or we’re just old…maybe a little bit of both.
It's all about money, just like everything else. No worries, everything is being ruined anyways
I am definitely hearing an old guy saying "Back in my day...."
“ We gotta UNITE!! “ 👏🏻👏🏻😜 We love you Adam! 😊🤞🏻💙
I totally get how mad you are Adam, This is how mad I get when I see Natalie/Daphne in the thumbnail
I don't think I've ever seen you like this, Adam... Awesome! 😆😆😆
We like an ATW rant. We need more! 😁
I remember the ball game it was during the Stanley cup playoffs last year
Learn how to write
When I was in White Knuckle Ride we made a stencil with posterboard and scissors and spray painted our logo onto tshirts. When we upgraded to a screen printer the shirts looked nicer and the price went up VERY slightly but no one bought them so we sold the screen printer and went back to spray painting them. Haha.
Looks like your Canon has some dirt inside the lens, like the last one you had. Time to replace it again? Why not just use your iPhone for filming? The footage you showed from the previous night actually looked better than what you record with the Canon.
It’s more the point of the whole thing . Once I’m pissed I just bail
@@TheDailyWoo I get that. I was referring to further videos. Why not just use the phone?
gotta say... this video is one of the better ones I've seen. Real Adam.
