T.J. MILLER is one of the most sought after comedians in the Western Hemisphere and some parts of New Zealand.
You may recognize him from roles in Deadpool, Transformers 4, and Mike Judge’s HBO show Silicon Valley, for which he received the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Comedy.
Miller has been in major studio films such as Office Christmas Party, Cloverfield, She's Out of My League, the surprise indie hit Transformers 4: Age of Extinction, Ready Player One, Extract, Our Idiot Brother, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Yogi Bear 3D (Ranger Jones, his greatest role to date), Unstoppable, Underwater, Get Him to the Greek, and The Stand In with Drew Barrymore. Yes. She is awesome.
His voice is possibly more famous than him- from television roles in Family Guy, F is for Family, High School USA!, Gravity Falls, among others… Miller also voiced the character Tuffnut in the Oscar-nominated animated films How to Train Your Dragon, and How to Train Your Dragon 2. Miller voiced Fred in Disney’s Academy Award-winning Big Hero 6.
His hour-long Comedy Central stand-up special T.J. Miller: No Real Reason and hip-hop/pop/folk music album "The Extended Play E.P.," an E.P. with 41 tracks, and the "Illegal Art Remixtape" are all available now. As is his hour HBO special “Meticulously Ridiculous.”
His podcast "Cashing in with T.J. Miller" is listened to by 12 and ½ people, we don’t know which half.
But let’s be honest. Everyone knows him because he’s the star of The Emoji Movie.

A big fan here; from your old stand-up routines that I used to listen to non-stop on spotify when I was serving in the military--the thin font bathroom bit and the ipod gift bits--they were just pure genius, sophisticated, unique (in such times that we are where every fucking comedian do bits of their banal relationships if they are in their 20's and bourgeois boring ass family life if they are in their 30's and 40's) and just the right rhythm and dynamic of energy. Loved you in Silicon Valley...the critics choice awards and the Comedy Central tragicomedy story you told about the rare disease and subsequent procedure you had.
That's why I feel so inclined to tell you that something in these crowdwork shows doesn't click. I would really rather see you do something written and rehearsed in the spirit of those old bits you did.

Ahh but clickbait for a 8 min overcooked scene about a random bro from Utah who's worst transgression was thiking the audience liked him as much as he liked his vest? I mean he's roastworthy, but is it clipworthy? I love the behind the scenes look at your roadtrip across the states/world,, but somehow these clips seem tepid.. It's not evem about accolades or achievments, but somehow I feel like you've become a little complacent. Some of your most recent uploads feel like they dont have much purpose or meaning, even if "no meaning" is the purpose. I'm sure your improv is funnier in the room (as iall mprov should be) but it just feels flat in these vids. Oddly enough though, some of your old podcast interviews are your funniest 'in the moment' bits. Would love to see you access that energy again is all.
