I still think GH3 had the best overall setlist

GH2 was the best imo, it also helps that the people they had behind the covers oh GH2 were amazing. GH2 had Hangar 18, Carry Me Home, Beast and the Harlot, YYZ, Laid to Rest, Killing in the Name Of, and the ultimate hard song of guitar hero: Jordan!

The first four (yes I'm counting Encore as well) Guitar Hero games had the best soundtrack to me. I don't think they could've outdone them in later entrys. Honorable mentions are World Tour and Warriors of Rock.

Sorry to disappoint but they already released a statement saying they wouldn't because the old controllers do not work on the newer consoles and they certainly arent gonna make new ones for an old game. As a newer guitarist, it really blows my mind how effortless you make the fingering look. I can directly try and place a chord with 2-3 fingers and can't get a chord to sound anywhere near that clear yet, not to mention how you can have all your fingers that far extended over the frets without muting or hitting other strings. I'm finding this learning extremely difficult and frustrating yet you make it look fun as hell.

It would be cool. You should do this on the warriors of rock setlist. Finally somebody who brings back guitar hero 3 in a good way.

You could watch out for a Epiphone if you don't already got one. Got one for my 18th birthday; never was a big fan of les Pauls (I'm more the Fender kinda guy) but I love my Epi. Funny thing: It's not even 300€ new. They rock!
sadly they tend to have sharp fret ends/poly finishes, low quality electronics and that godawful ugly headstock. Its usually a better idea to go for a low end gibson versus a mid/high end epi.
(I own a few epiphones, so im not pulling this out of my ass)
