I don't know the answer, but maybe it is simply the exception that proves the rule? Language is not an exact science.

+Merci Ilena. Can you please clarify 'irons'. I used 'rons' in viendrons, from what i learnt from Alexa's presentation.
+ALEX McCLEAN Well, "venir" = "to come" and "aller" = "to go". You would better say "we will go to the cinema" 'cause "we will come to the cinema" has a different meaning.
Your sentence ("nous viendrons au cinéma" is perfectly right but, considering the whole sentence, it would be better to use "aller" verb instead of "venir" verb to make "more sense".
+ALEX McCLEAN "Venir" au futur simple : "nous viendrons" ; "aller" au futur simple : "nous irons".

Well... I think it's exactly the same use in english. "Aller" = "to go" and "venir" = "to come".

Hi Alexa. J'ai une question. as regards "ON"...How do we conjugate when it has a meaning of "NOUS"? For example:
Nous sommes 3 femmes. On est ¿venu?/¿venues? de Paris.
Should we use Venu (conjugated as ON, 3rd person singular) or VenuES (idea of femenine + plural)?
