I started to learn french 3 weeks ago by myself, now I think that I've learnt a lot with your videos, French is very similar to Spanish (I'm native Spanish speaker), Merci beaucoup Alexa!
I'm a native portuguese speaker and I can tell that french its very similar to portuguese too
Les deux langues ont leurs difficultes, mais la structure est la meme. (Les accents sont absents)
Il y a beaucoup de personnes de langue espagnole qui ne peuvent pas parler francais
im studying both latin and french so yeah knowing one makes the rest easier
I am almost intermediate level in French, and I haven’t even tried too hard to learn it, but I remember most words taught at school and from lyrics, and I learned some extra words myself, so I know over 2.000 words in French, and can recognize most words in general because they are similar to the Spanish or English or Dutch word - French is very easy to learn!

I still have difficulty in pronouncing 'r' when at the beginning of the word. When Alexa said 'Recontré', the 'r' sound chilled me to the bone 😂
On dit "rencontre" avec un accent aigu sur "e" et pas recontre"

I started learning français on my own il y a trois semains and the help your videos have given me is immense because of the clarity of explanations, the structure of your videos and your amiable character. (My native tongue is Arabic. Fun fact: Did you know that Arabic has a lot of French words. e.g. tante, tasse, moquette?)
Too bad that I do not speak Arabic even though I was born in an Arabic country.
In English, the word Sheriff comes from Arabic.
Arabic is one of the very difficult languages to learn

Brilliant teacher.
I love the raw construction of ‘Il y a’ in comparison to the English structures. People say French is hard, but this seems over simplified. And… the fact it’s singular even in its plural form and it helps with the reference to ‘plural negative’ stick in its singular form. Especially in the future ‘Il n’y aura pas de…’ (regardless if it’s plural)
