The premium Su-6, while practically brand new, is now one of my staple SL farming aircraft. I love ground attacking more than anything in the game, and this doesn't disappoint. I bought it before the sale, and while it was fairly expensive, I don't regret buying it at full price
These are great Bo! Thanks for putting the time aside to make these guides happen, i picked up some talismans here and there for various vehicles and got myself a T-14. Don't stress about the people saying these videos missed the sale. I just grabbed myself a nice bag of crisps and some tea, sat down and enjoyed the whole thing. Also love Bismarck's short but very informative history on all these machines. Take it easy and don't be afraid to take a break especially during these weird times we are all going through, Greetings from Belgium and Stay safe!

Oh, I loved that interchange between Bo and Bis about the Ta 154 and its glue woes.
I really like this co-op video. It is good to listen also some historical facts about the planes you play/buy. And because you are not from the same 'team' at least you are not playing so often. You have different points of view and styles of talking about the vehicles.

really great guides. basically the only worth mentioning. you compare all the planes and show at least two people discussing it, which is a great idea, so you get a better feeling if someone likes or dislikes a plane because of playstyle or because it is bad or good...
and its entertaining too.

i got the JU 288 when it came out. that plane is the single best purchase i ever made. it outperforms every bomber up to the second Ar234, and its my workhorse vehicle for every seasonal event
I was deciding what premium plane(s) I might have gotten and ended up purchasing the Ta-154 off of this guide and I have to say it’s a really good plane so thanks for the help with that

New to the game. I've been having trouble justifying putting money into the game, but these guides have really helped me narrow down what is worth buying, and what isn't. Makes it seem more reasonable. Love the content.
The I-153s and I-15s are far and away my favorite low tier planes. Whenever I'm having a bad day, these devastating turn-fighters always brighten my day. Triple Ace is a wonderful feeling.
Couple of things about the German Wellington in-game: it’s one of the few captured planes in-game that saw operational service post-capture in roles besides training or testing, as KG 200 used it for recon and transport duties for a couple of years. Also, I don’t know if this is still the case, but apparently this is the favorite plane of the top Sim Air player in the game (stats-wise).

I used the JU88C to grind out my German plane tech tree. It’s such a fun and enjoyable aircraft, it’s a bomber but that doesn’t mean it’s slow. It can even go in ground RB and do well. Planes coming up behind you don’t know what they’re in for, those machine guns are absolutely devastating. 100% a buy.
I bought the Germany unity day sale for 1$, and along with those 3 premiums(king tiger, d-13, and prince) I was able to buy myself 6 premium vehicles with the Ge that came with it, and it seems I made great choices from what you guys are saying about them
Notimefor Space I had enough gjn to pay for most of it through sales on the market, so I needed to put in 1 actual dollar to get enough gjn for the pack

I was able to get the ta 154 on discount and it has become my favorite plane in game
I love my MiG-17AS. It makes GL every time and is super fun to play.
The Do335 is so fun. It hits like a train and shreds anything . Ultimate bomber killer
The Ta 154 would have been very successful, but the glue plant was bombed so they had to use a different glue which really fucked up this plane
You recommended against FW 190 as a novice but I chose to learn with this plane and it was amazing still months after this video was a trial by fire with this I enjoyed every second still learning with this baby but looking for a british plane now.
Oh god I remember getting the Ta-154 as soon as it came out. What a monster it was, id never had so much consistent success with a heavy fighter
I may just be wrong, but everytime i take out my bv 238, i just get shit down by any plane in existence, and the 13mm dont seem to do any more damage than a 7.62. sometimes its fun tho.
The bv is basically a German tu 4 without the high repair cost.
happens to me also, especially those damn xp50's or xp55s which come zooming down on you from space 2 mins into the battle... they are crazy. you can basically just jump out of the bv238 as soon as you see those damn xp's...
@@dedude7075 when im flying my xp 50 and be stupid enough to attack a 238 i get absolutely destroyed its probably not the plane
the BV was almost unkillable once. But by now, canons and guns are so powerful that wings and modules rip at the slightest touch.
It can be tough in any bomber these days. Especially one that big, everyone knows what you are and I'm not gonna lie... I go out of my way to target BV 238s when I can because I want to shut them down and not have to chase them later in the game. That being said the new damage models that were on the dev server may really help this thing if the proposed changes stay.
I bought the Russian p 47 and plan on buying the bv 238 I also got the mig 17as. And I love it
In Spain (mainly catalonia) the I-16 was called “xato” wich means “bulldog like nose”

I got myself the T-55AM-1 and Mig-17AS Birthday bundle, needed a high tier grinder for the Russians, as well. So worth it!
The T-55AM-1 is a nice change of pace from the Leopards and the XM-1 and I quite like it, didn't want to wait for a 9.7 premium that would just get yeeted into top tier anyway. 8.3 is a really chill spot for that tank. I love that it's balanced.
The Mig-17AS on the other hand, I'm absolutely in love with that plane. The cannons have a nice punch to them and the missiles are... well, okay. Situational but they can get some work done.
You were not kidding when you said Bismarck went a bit overboard with the history lessons. Not that I hated them though.
Another informative video Bo and Bis, your hard work remains as appreciated as always.
I want to add about the FW-190 D13 and mainly an advice for the new german flyers for the price it's really good grinder very powerful but take in mind that the Bf109 and the fw190 have two completely different flight styles and gun setup people on bf109 relies more on the nose gun while in the FW you rely more on your roll capabilities boom and zoom and powerful wing mounted armament you can kill all the bomber you kill during your climb.(you can mount wing cannons on the bf but i don't feel it actually need them). Choose your main grinding plane for the playstyle you feel more fit to play if you feel the fw is not the plane for you but you still want to get a lot of silver lion and rp go for the Ju288.
Would very highly recommend the JU288 grinded out all the way from rank 2 up to rank 6 in about a month with it. Excellent rp and money grinder
two years later, this is still a solid advertisement for all these planes!
My experience with the G91 R/4 is that it does do amazing in most situations, but if you ever encounter missiles you've got a problem because it doesn't have any flares, that's annoying especially in custom battles. Your only option is to either risk wing overload or G-Overload, or you use the mighty mouse rockets as makeshift flares to confuse heat seeking missiles
One thing about the He112 B1U2 is that it turns very well, especially with flaps you can definitely surprise people with its superior turnrate compared to its tech tree counterparts.

The German Yak 1B is my go-to for a good time. That thing pulls energy out of thin air, can turn very well, and can reliably kill most things with one or two bursts from that amazing 20mm gun.
Oh, I forgot to say that a benefit of this plane is that you won't have to fight Bf 109s.

G.91 R/4 was probably the best decision I could have made after coming back into WT. The jet gameplay suits me much better than props (despite loving Spitfires), and though the learning curve is steeper I'm enjoying most games despite being a nation I've traditionally hated flying (Germany).
When the 15 days of premium is up, I'll probably pick up a Hunter and grind the rest of the British tree, and then I'll be set!
I like the BF-109 A and wellington. they do well for me
I have to say the ta 154 and the HE 219 are 2 really good strong buy the HE 219 and the ta are both really good for ground rb i have so much fun playing theses 2 wonderful heavy air craft

The D-13 was my first premium I bought a long time ago probably 6-7 years ago. Damn time flies. I have the most kills with this in Air RB than anything. I think something like 4-500 kills

I got the German Wellington because it’s amazing at grinding Silver Lions and you don’t have to face 109’s,although I did get it on sale.
I'd like to protect the Su-6 a little: It is a RANK 4 attacker, on 4.0, for a manageable price, witch means you can use it to unlock planes up to the 9.0 MIG-17! And on 4.0 the speed and armament is enough to guarantee a 100% positive outcome, if u go for AI, and ground units, before the 1st enemy fighter shows up, and u still can effectively deal with other attackers if those start to harass you!
P-40 E-1 is super cool for ground RB

Bought ju288 during sale, researched all planes till G91 in one afternoon :)
Now im ready for operation winter....G91 r/3, JU288 and Pulkzerstorer for CAS :)
Didn't get it during the sale (so was expensive) but I'm really enjoying it. Out of the games I've played, I've probably only got half a dozen or so kills (3 in one match is my record) but it's reinvigorated my love for WT that I lost a few years back.
Should I be throwing money at a game I have a love/hate relationship with? Probably not, but it was worth it!

Note the Be-6 wile retired in the 60s gave birth to a new version of it at the same time in the 60s with the Be-12 which is still used in the russian navy today in limited numbers

Another Important boon for the JU288 is that it's by far the best Silver Lion's earner in the game
if not the best it's the easiest
You can play it in sim battle super easy bc it flies so well or spam in in air RB and just bomb two bases and get tons of SL and RP for no effort
