When I tell ya'll this keyboard was a labor of love, I mean like 8+ hours of labor 💀 The darn spacebar gave me a real headache bc it would not for the love of god stop ticking--I tried re-lubing it multiple times and even frankenstein-ed the housing units from my TX clip-ins but NOTHING WAS WORKING?!?!?! I finally decided to use my 6.25u wire from Owlstabs with the housing units from my Akko stabs, and although the spacebar still doesn't sound perfect IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME LOL. It was 4am at this point haha...
Anyways, my time and effort paid off though bc sheeeeeeesh this is an amazing sounding board--it sounds so good with nk creams, but now I'm curious to see how it'll sound with my blueberry swirls!

They do! I love it because it's unique but not too out there lol. And the build quality is spot on. I would have gotten the bubble but I missed the gb 😅
@tsum I missed the gb too! But one of the vendors happened to get a new shipment in the warehouse so I managed to snag a white one hehe...
My god this sounds phenomenal, I'm planning on building my bubble 75 with some lubed doom switches, hopefully its even half as deep and creamy sounding as this board, well done! (P.S after using the board for a while, how's it feel? worthy of endgame price point?)

I have a Bubble75 too but it doesn't sound as deep as yours. Mine is like more poppier (Ink Black V2 swiches + Staebies stabilizers)
Do the tape mod help making that deeper thocky sound? Cuz I didn't do that on my board
It sure does lol--also I think the switches in this case play a bigger role. I tried swapping the creams out for blueberry swirls and it's more high pitched. Nk creams have produced the deepest sound for me so far

Ooooo, this sounds exactly what I'm going for but I've never built a keyboard and don't like how pricy they can be but also never used anything other than my razer ornata and kinda hating it as time goes on. I wish I could just buy pre built modded boards like this on the cheaper side from people so there's no hassle and it's ready to go lol.
Ah yeah unfortunately modding a board like this does take a lot of time and effort out of someone's day, which is why I personally charge $100+ for commissions, but I'll be lowering them/making adjustments to my rates this summer so if you're interested please don't hesitate to reach out :)
@@nessasaurus_ I will for sure keep this in mind! The sound of this board is just insane and if someone can do it for me so I don't mess it up as a first timer, I'd prefer that lol.
@Twixxy completely understand! I'll be re-opening my commissions June 1 through my IG :) It is totally possible to build a budget board that sounds amazing--maybe won't sound as premium as my bubble haha but still a lot better than stock!
Alrighty! & yeah I've noticed a huge difference between nasty stock sounding boards and then entirely modded, it's like a completely new board. The closest thing I could find to budget while also being slightly modded + factory lubed switches is the dustsilver 75. It arrives today and I think it's at least a start into the modded mechanical community and is gunna be miles better than my razer ornata. I'm just really sick of the clicky sound and want something more creamy\thocky so your board is quite nice to the ears ^^.
i recommend nuphy and cidoo 65 v2 for prebuilts! i own both and am very happy with them :D

Everyone can mod their boards however they want :) This keyboard only sounds this good because of all the mods I've done to it!

for me a keyboard that sounds good just because a tempest mods did it is not a good keyboard after that is only my opinion where my question sounds good without any mods
@KEYBOARD MANIAC none of this is about whether a keyboard is good or bad--they're all just preferences! Some people like a lot of foam and tape and others don't. That doesn't make the keyboard bad, it's just based off of what YOU as an individual like
@KEYBOARD MANIAC I don't know what this keyboard sounds like stock so I can't rlly give u an answer, but whether it is "good" compared to other boards is completely subjective :)
