I tried the trueform trainer version at my friends gym one time and although it took me a few seconds to adjust it was literally the best treadmill running experience I ever had. Love that it’s based on YOUR speed and the run overall just feels so much better than traditional treadmills. I’m dying to own one some day 😩

Really awesome treadmill ! A key thing to emphasize with this latest generation SpeedFit ProXL manual treadmill is that the running 'belt' mechanism is significantly lighter than previous versions and other brands. This makes the unit much more responsive to speed changes by the user, and it also does not require such a steep angle upfront to get the belt moving by lighter users.

Greed along with not a lot of units selling.Until they start selling in super high numbers, price will stay high. They need a new marketing tactic as welp as price point.I would easily pay 2k for this. But 6 k?I can get spot fat burning for my abs to show.Bummer like you said, since it appears to be a pretty good product.

Agree with other comments. I reached out to the company over a year ago because I was very interested in this for my standup work station, however I could never justify $6K. Such a bummer! Still on the hunt for something to get more movement in throughout the day.

Really would like to understand who is making these manual curved treadmills. Prices are so high now, but when the price gets under $2K, I think the sales will start to take off. There are now four: The Assault AirRunner appears to be built with the TrueForm Runner design, but I can't tell if this SpeedFit is a Woodway Curve design. If you look aat the unit price of a Concept 2 indoor rower at under$1K, I would say a manual curved treadmill needs to be under $2K.

I'm 6'5" and I feel as though breaking into a sprint while in a light run during intervals, I would be most afraid of stepping straight over the front lip of the belt/slats. and breaking everything in that leg. lol. I certainly wouldn't want to chop my stride to match the machine as it would equate to nothing when actually running outside.
