Amazing organist that has a very interesting technique, it reminds me of my childhood when The great Reginald Dixon came on the radio, he inspired me to play the organ, just like this organist does.
@csuk73 Yes Craig - as the EL70 only has 8 'pistons' I do use different regitstrations stored on disk - for example I wouldn't want to use the harsh sounds used for quicksteps, tangos, barndances, etc... for the more softer requirements of waltz's and foxtrots.
Hi Mark, I have admired your playing for some time now,I can only say the sound that you get out of that EL70 is incredible ,your style and playing is first class. I have just recently accuired an EL70c I think they are a great little instrument .Regards Alan
Hi Mark I have a Yamaha EL70 Organ they are great I can not play anything as great as you are playing you are a great Inspiration to lots of us who would like to play like you. Fantastic,. Evelyn
Blackpool lives on! Wonderfully executed. Now I know what the Blackpool WurliTzer would sound like wih an automatic rhythm section. If only Yamaha had 'Blackpool Couplers', you could totally achieve 'The Blackpool Sound'.
Hi Mark. It would be nice to see your face as well as your hands, you are a great player, we should see the master at work. So mark when you put some new songs on here, i hope you will, you should be proud of yourself. Take care my friend...
@jackyvix Some of the clips were recorded using a camera I could connect a line out from the organ to so I could record the video and audio together. Later clips are now recorded with the line out going to an audio recorder on my computer and then synchronised with the video later using Adobe Premiere Elements.
@Gemzii3 A lot of the sounds I use have been modified and stored as User Voices. The modifications I make are usually to help the voices sound more warm and slightly louder.

Hi John - No sorry I don't perform anymore. I used to quite a bit many years ago and was once on the team of organists at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool in the late 1980's. Thank you for your kind comments.
Is this organ stock ? Has it been added to or modified to make it sound like a theatre organ ? Sure sounds great whatever the case, love hearing it ! I could listen to this all day and night ! Keep up the great work !!!!! PLEASE !!!!

Enjoyed this very much, and I'm not even a fan of this musical style (I do recognize a lot of the themes though). I almost thought you it included "Tommy's Holiday Camp".
Mark, it comes from The Who album Tommy from 1969. A slightly longer version was done with a theater organ arrangement in the film adaptation of Tommy from six years later.
Love it. Never get tired of listening to this music 🎶
You by far are one of the greatest home organists I've ever seen on UA-cam. Your style is superb!
Hi Mark, you deserve all the praise you get, like i said you are by far the best.

Do you have different settings for each dance or do you have the same 'bank' for all the dances?

What a shame, you're an amazing musician.
Is this organ stock ? Has it been added to or modified to make it sound like a theatre organ ? Sure sounds great whatever the case, love hearing it ! I could listen to this all day and night ! Keep up the great work !!!!! PLEASE !!!!
No modifications at all - just used the customised parameters on certain voices

through you camera or do you use MIDI?
Enjoyed this very much, and I'm not even a fan of this musical style (I do recognize a lot of the themes though). I almost thought you it included "Tommy's Holiday Camp".
Thanks for your comments - not sure what "Tommy's Holiday Camp" is?
