+Psycho Unicorn actually he has amazing vocals, can hit most notes - high or low, and is great at breathing control (most of his songs a lot of vocalists would have trouble singing without breaks). sure, you might not like his voice but going off what *logically* makes a good singer cody would be considered damn good.

For all the judgy people, it's not his voice that's making this sound off, its the fact that this song doesn't really work as an acoustic cover because it was never meant to be played on a regular guitar. If Cody sang with an electric guitar for his background [and had a microphone so the electric guitar wouldn't overpower his vocals completely] this would sounds awesomer than it is.
Have a little perspective, when someone makes an acoustic cover they need to translate the notes from an instrument to another, and what sounds good on an instrument might not on another. This just happens to be one of those songs that are not convertible [or easily convertible at the very least- I could still be proven wrong!] to acoustic guitars. DWI.
