Congratulations. And when you mentioned the part about your daughter being born and you wore the Seiko, that is the very reason why I purposely wore my Rolex on the day my kids were born (happen to be fortunate to own one), because you can never sell the watch you wore when your kids were born.

I'm hearing more and more stories like this that give me hope that maybe one day the so called waiting lists will go away and you can just walk into an AD and buy a watch.

When this happens people will not be interested in this brand anymore. So waitlists are here to stay. It’s a marketing strategy
explorer II blackface here, 2006. i love the subdued nature of it, wear it a lot. its gone up in value quite a bit . never selling.....
My ADs are saying 7 months to a year.
