Was just coming back to post this. So far this was the only use of her name in the revived show. It was used maybe half a dozen times during the original Laugh-In series, usually in an impossible-to-offend context like the name of the junior high school where they set a PTA sketch.
8:36 And now to sing a Laugh In original, Tina Turner (With Ben Powers and June Gable) 37:06 And now to sing her Solid Gold classic “Laugh-In News”, Tina Turner

4:47 Robin Williams and Tina Turner.
A wild and warm moment
Love Tina Turner's reaction to Robin's craziness!
RIP to both of them 🙏🙏
@@sandraandrews9907 Yep 👍🏻.
4:30 These two defined the 80's loved growing up with the both of them RIP geniuses
Fascinating seeing them together - can't remember if I ever did later on.
Oh lordy thank you for posting these. I loved them as a kid, and yeah, while they're nothing compared to the original, they're still a lot of fun.
Can't wait for this one or the Episode 6, the last one. One of those shows has the 60 Minutes parody, where the stopwatch exploded.
We'll see which one...
@@clownjewels Thanks. At the age of 5, I found that one very funny and laughed my head off over that.
@@Lupton2000This is the episode you were talking about, with the 60 Minutes parody.
Fantástic quality wowww 😮❤
Glad you like it!
@@clownjewels we thank you for uploading it ☺️

Who knew that Robin Williams would be a big star after that.😊😮
Yeah 🙌🏻, Kathryn.
This should have gone on for more seasons.
We wish we had more! Thanks for tuning in ❤️
I was 16 when this aired. Still funny.
Yep 👍🏻, which originally aired 💨 on NBC on the night 🌚 of February 1, 1978, at 9 pm Eastern, of course.
31:55 - In-joke: "Jolene Brand" is the name of George Schlatter's wife. She performed on Ernie Kovacs' final TV series.

@@clownjewels You're welcome!
Susan Ford?! Boy, that’s a forgotten celebrity from those years😀
February 1, 1978, to be exact.
Ben powers later became a regular on the TV show. Good Times as Thelma’s husband.
Which would begin its sixth and final season ⛄ on CBS on the night 🌚 of September 16, 1978, of course, Michael.
8:05 - 8:12 Creator/Executive Producer George Schlatter, ladies and gentlemen!
Miranda Pollard from Crossroads
A low point in American television

Thanks for the comment! It was fun to see Robin as he was becoming ROBIN.
Tina Turner. This was the time she was free from Ike.
Good time waster I guess. Not as remotely imaginative as the original.

I think they shot them all from June-July 1977. The end of 1977 was when Robin Williams filmed his Happy Days episode with Mork.
