(3:40) - When you go Aciene Regime, you don't semi... *You Go Hard & All In*to Canada!
But for Canada okay I'll break it all down into 3 things:
1) Revolt to Canada with Natives (hardest with most cards/need to pick & choose). Going Natives has the most potential if the Map Natives work for you House of Oldenburg should be great with Hunting Expeditions (although it seems to bug Hudson's Bay out or maybe it saves you a card when revolting)... or going for Phanar works in all cases. Going for stuff like Natives with Nootka can be great if you want 500 H.P. Voyagers with the Nootka warchief who is getting Native Buffs and is cheaply retrained for 200 food 100 wood going down 25% with Haudenosaunee card -25% cost + 20% native warriour train capacity that is now in Canada's deck. There are many Natives which require a lot of out of the box playing and just aren't as good in direct fights, but a lot of European ones can work well to boost your revolt (free shipments, the hunting expedition alongside free extra villes [Royal Huntsmen for 140 food are Hunters that benefit from eco tech upgrades until upgraded to Royal Hunters [Such a weird Native Civ]). The 3 best parts about natives for Canada are the cards where even the Aciene Regime Card Royal Musketeers & Dragoons benefit from the 15 & 10 % Attack/H.P. cards so you're looking at +40/+40 royal dragoons with 3 cards in Fortress & +25/+25 royal musketeers in commerce even. Then of course Natives are funky to play, but because nobody really plays with them apart from a random tech here & there... they're unlikely to know exactly how they work in the current engagement & thus how to countre them. And finally natives don't take population space you should be spamming villagers or even getting a second or third T.C. if possible with enough food & you also have enough space for Artillery!
2) Revolt to Canada on just Musk alone is just very reliable I think with the right cards giving Promotion Musketeers that are cheaper & so on (Fully upgraded they are at 360 H.P., 14 range, 57 ranged damage and 37 melee damage without Militia Officer when at a Gold Star Rating - reduced to 300 H.P., 14 range, 50 ranged attack, then 34 hand attack with no promotions). Since it seems as if promotions are boosting BASE stats such as H.P.!
3) Then finally a Canada Revolt should CRUSH the French Revolution if done around the same time/reasonably close economies - 1 major reason for this is that Sansculottes I think do 0.25 (1/4) the damage to Voyageurs... but *NOT* vice-versa since the Sans lose their villager tag - they have recently gotten another tag, but here they just lose out now that they're on 135 base H.P. (even with Infantry upgrades they barely reach half of a boosted C.D.B. with 20% Woodland Warfare card at 400 H.P.)! So Apart from being worse gatherers & builders now, they're even worse at fighting at least against this civilisation. If you EVER GET PHANAR, they I THINK both count as a 50% H.P. increase for Villes and 18 damage in Industrial Age (For Revolt Purposes) - for Imperial Age it's 100% increased H.P. for Villes and 22 extra attack damage. This would make a 500 H.P. Voyageur with 46 damage at 16 range and X2 versus artillery & then you add stuff like the 10% Militia Officer flag if you wish.
