- Tibet is called the third pole of the world, and its unique geography has shaped its special history, culture, religion and lifestyle. In recent years, like other places in China, Tibet has experienced dramatic changes, and Tibetans living on the snow plateau find themselves the focus of international attention. How do they live? How are their values changing? What do they expect from the future? The documentary series "The Life in the Snow Land" was produced 15+ years ago to help answer this question. Hearing their counting make me emotional 😢😢😢We Tani people are loosing our own dialogue with passing time 😭😞😭
i think its inevitable....its getting diluted ....our previous generations spoke much purer form of our dialects...we know lesser compared to them...and our next gens are being taught hindi/english....next 3-4 gen it will go extinct i believe
Loba tribe same with us. Counting of numbers like akkon, annyi, aum, appi, akngo, akkeng and others etc are almost same.
Our people in Tibet 😢❤️
I Can understand counting and some words they say but some sentences they say are very different than tani of Arunachal Pradesh India. Thanks for upload its very intresting to see our tani people of other side.
Tani Unity is a must
There behavioral are also same as us..by nature n heart ❤️
They speak my language amazing
Wondering if people in the region actively/have been known to record trade transactions through weaving? (like Quipu in/by the Andes)
It’s sad to see my brothers and sisters of same origin being divided by both countries.BTW I am from Arunachal Pradesh nyishi tribe
It's all Tibet fault for agreeing to British in Simla treaty
Cz of that shitty britisher’s mac Mohan line and Tibet was so naive that let some white guy come over their place draw a line and separate their own people
Ato ga Bokar nabpang hum benchen kumong tibet nabpang bo benday kuke❤❤❤❤❤ayang hai,,
Its sad to see How china and india have divided us.
Absulately sir. Same here
India saved us n china doesn’t. Jai hind
Cz of that shitty Mac Mohan line, it’s like some British ppl drew a line within a community and call it a different nation and everyone believe it cz they were white
Happy to see our Brothers Wellbeing. We should maintain our Brother as Different Countries Citizens, rather than Playing Geopolitics😊

56:00 they are speaking Tibetan language and learning Tibetan grammer by writing Tibetan letter on the black board
@MrINDIA-wc1gd I am Chinese, let me answer your question. Because their villages are in Tibet Autonomous Region(Province). In this province, the public school system teach Mandarin Chinese and Tibetan these two languages, as national language and provincial language. Lhoba /Tani people is the ethnic minority there, they only use native language in their village area with their people, if they go out, they need to speak Tibetan or Mandarin to the majority people.
@MrINDIA-wc1gd hahahah, how do you think I am not Chinese? I am wondering this. Well, the fact is that I am Chinese, just from different province
@MrINDIA-wc1gd really? I wonder the reason. Are your tribe inhabiting in Arunachal, but sadly received prosecution from Tibetan in history?
@MrINDIA-wc1gd Ahh, yes, you are right! My home province is Guangdong, the province in South China, beside Hongkong. I immigrate to Canada, so I can chat in English. The good English Tibetan you mean is Exile/oversea Tibetan, I saw many Tibetans in Tibet are bad in English lol, under same English education national-wide, the system sadly emphasizes how to do exam, instead of aim to teach fluent oral speaking.

For the algorithm
Do our Tani people (Lhoba peoples) get the proper Chinese citizenship?
Yes, their are recognized as Citizen of China officially. China did very systemic and standardized work in personal identity for all residents in recent 20 years. I am Chinese, I can tell this
Citizenship id yes but a passport is near to impossible if you don't have good contact with the hard core loyal Chinese communist party member, so most tibetan in Tibet will never travel outside Tibet in their life.
@@MoMo_Head Why is that brother can u explain ?
@@pranjalmili6129 Minorities in china like Tibetan, Uyghur usually don't get passports easily due to security China doesn't want minorities to leave China. It's like a North Korean system. So many minorities escape illegally.
Is this place in Tibet ??? vegetation looks unlikely
Yes, the east southern part of Tibet is full of Forest & vegetation. "Metok county"
They talk and eat like Tibetan
counting of numbers is same as abotani tribes but can't understand the language.
