I had that PJ Harvey album on cassette tape at 13 at the beginning of my first year in jr high... he captured my same thoughts about it 😊 especially at such a delicate and pivotal time in my adolescence.
Mike Buddy!!!! You have reached the pinnacle of your dream!!!! "No Shape" blows P.J.Harvey and Low (maybe) away!!!! Keep going, don't stop, you're a fucking genius!!! While they're burning the dean's list. Touche, torch upon torch, curse against curse, no one ever relies on brilliance only after it's due!!!! We are your crew!!!!!!
Wow, i really love Mike's music but i had no idea his influences would align with mine like that. That exact PJ Harvey record, that exact Low (who picks Trust besides us? so weird). I met Alan Sparhawk after a show one time and got to tell him Trust was the best- he was a little high, but i could tell he was a bit surprised. Spirit of Eden is my Favorite Talk Talk too, while Stars of the Lid all i really know is Tired Sounds of from 2001 or so, but i do love that one and what he said about them is lovely.
***** Sorry I wasn't specific enough, but word names of the album will suffice. I just couldn't understand him no matter how much I increase the volume or quality....
Jovanna Mariet 1. Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden 2. Patti Smith - Horses 3. Low - Trust (He states that his actual favourite Low album is Things We Lost in the Fire, tho) 4. A Winged Victory For The Sullen - ATOMOS 5. PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love. ;-) Show less

It's pretty obvious he's a PJ Harvey fan. Especially after you listen to his last album. There's a couple of tracks that clearly rip off PJ. I'm not shaming him for that.
Was great to him on the show, a true artist in every sense of the word. Thanks for watching. XC

I don't find men attractive but if I had a boyfriend I'd want it to be this guy. I love this personality.
Mike Hadreas was one of the most charming people we've interviewed in this series, very honest and rather funny in real life too!
