@@Xflex_fn Athena taunt lasts so long and is so buggy for me. It whips my camera around so much I lose track of where I'm facing. It's like I'm feared and taunted at the same time
A good tip for Athena: don't gank solo when she's in support. She can turn that fight around really easily Solos can stay alive for long enough for her Ult to channel and to turn the fight. You wanna pretty exclusively gank mid and just try to deny farm for their solo instead of directly ganking them. Best case scenario for playing around Athena Ult is you gank mid:get her to start channeling, then kill the midlaner so her Ult is used but doesn't let her teleport.

As a Jorm main, can confirm that any form of interruption is one of his biggest weakness. Apollo Mez, Nox 2, Artio stun any sort of easy/ instant interrupt works wonders against Jorm. As for Cthulhu... step 1) pick a basic attack focused god, step 2) buy Qin sais, step 3) haha lawn mower go brrrrrrr to Cthulhu's health bar And with Xing being my third place main, yea the 1 basic attack damage debuff is dummy strong. Using it against a Baka who is trying to harass your carries just to see his damage completely vanish and then you peel him with your two or ult is so feels good. So as weird as it sounds, don't box Xing, especially when his 1 is up. He's just going to bully and out sustain you in lane.
@@realr6ckstar Jorm is obviously my #1! Cthulhu is a very close second. Xing is third, but he was my first before Jorm came around. Sobek, Chaac, Guan Yu Cerberus, Terra, Athena, Camazotz, and probably a few others I am forgetting.
This one's for playing against artio solo, since I'm an artio main over there, she thrives in lane when she can use her druid 1 on you and minions, so either bait the 1 before clearing or don't let her get healing off it
@@ans-dq9xh Do I need to explain to you why a character with 6 semi-low cooldown abilities actually gets an insanely good lategame from being able to regen % max health every time an ability lands?
For Yemoja, much like Geb or Khephri, focus her down. Much like the other two, she's a character who is much better at peeling for teammates than herself. Forcing her to use 3 to escape will move her away from her allies, she'll burn through Omi to double cast her 1 for self peel, and she loses the primary effects of her 2 (the heal and shield) without nearby allies. Her ult can be annoying, but if you have a reliable way to escape, then she'll lose her main team fight ability.
Much needed advice against some troublesome gods. I have most of the Guardians diamonded and agree that these are good tips for and against them. Sylvanus, Kumba, and Yemoja are the only ones I haven't gotten to diamond yet. People do dismiss how effective Xian Ting's 1 is or how Artio likes to wear you down.
So fun fact, Sylvanus ult does not heal but actually knocks enemies up then does dot dmg. His ability Wisps is where he gets the healing from. Everything else is super true though. Syl has a lot of CC to put out but is very susceptible to it himself. Love these vids btw!
2:46 If you are a hunter does what inter says and shred him in his ultimate because of qins, if your not a hunter, You have to run away from his ult, the abilities from the ult do double the damage unlike his normal form,he'll kill you quickly and likely so use the rest of the duration to clear wave
Another tip I've heard about fighting Sobek (this more applies if you're facing him in Solo Lane) is to steal his buffs before he gets them: he can't farm well at all. It's also important to out-clear the minion waves before he clears yours.
Works better on Ymir bc he's rooted while casting. Bacchus can quite easily flick around to hit you with the stun. Realistically when I play Bacchus against a team where healing is an issue it try to tag as many people with the anitheal as possible before flicking off to the person I'm *actually* trying to stun and they almost never realize because I'm not chasing them directly with it
Tip against Fafnir since he is meta: His transformation is somewhat long, so if possible, just group around him and when he lands as a dragon you can easily cc chain him and blow him up before he gets to do anything.
when he is turning in a Dragon, he's damage imune and it's kinda tricky because every time he ults, his kit is recharged, I would prefer to atack him after the ult, it's very simple to know when his ult is ending, and he can't react until the end of the animation, so it's a ez kill (most faf mains will use pridwen/thorns for that same reason) (srry for my broken english)
This is how you get solo'd by an ulting Fafnir lmao. As someone who plays him a bunch I would absolutely love it you guys would follow this tip and allow me to pad my stats and take your ADC off the census when I overextend 'cmon guys let's all gather around the little bugger, stand on his poison and let him pick which one of us he's dumping two stuns and a tonne of damage into'
For any guardians matches run in the jungle: they have some natural protections built in to the guardian class so some flat pen helps greatly when you want to deal with them
For the Khepri tip, I concur. In the early game at least. It's a good tip for Khepri players themselves, too. I often main Khepri, and especially in teamfight-heavy gamemodes it's very important to get at least Thebes online before you go too aggressive. He's a nice full Support God in that mid- to lategame, he's built enough tank items to engage, just eat the teamfight and still escape.
Yeah, I feel like I’ve had to explain way too often that khephri doesn’t soak up damage in the way other tanks do, his entire kit is centred around giving his teammates more protections and peeling enemies off them, rather than being able to take the damage himself. I play very close to my back line not because I’m hiding behind them but because I’m using my passive and my 2 to their full potential, and also to prevent ganks. He’s one of the most squishy tanks especially in the early game hence why he is played passively and labelled as a passive tank. Also it’s why I use my 3 first as khephri to give my team time to push up before I use my 1, so if you get hit by his root get ready to leap or dash out. When looking for ganks make sure to either target him first or that he is distracted, because with 2 peels and 30% mitigation his teammates are very hard to kill. Not to mention his ult.
A tip for Terra I would say is try to cc her out of her dash, mainly when she's try to 3 1 you. It's not the easiest you to react to but if you can predict or react to it then she kinda becomes a sitting duck
Advice from a Jorm main in terms of countering him: If you CC him after he enters submerge, it not only takes him out of it, but it already starts the countdown so he's without his most widely usable peel tool He gets slowed to a crawl if you CC him right, and making him take a chunk of extra damage on top of that is basically a death sentence. Overall he's really easy to pin down if his ult is on cool down, and hell if you're aggressive enough you might even be able to kill him as he's trying to panic ult away
also another tip for fighting terra: if you have any cc that can cancel/prevent her dash use it after she uses her first dashs on her 2 or 3, most of the time she becomes obisolite for a while(since her cds are very high) or just dies.
Yeah, that Cthulhu tip is about right. By the time you get your ult up early game, you'll have enough defense to tower dive players with low health and not worry much. And in late game, if you don't try to fight off an ulting Cthu and run instead, you're just painting a bigger target on your back.
I always enjoy screwing with Ymir when playing Awilix because the freeze has a little animation before the actual stun so if you press feather step quickly you can completely waste his stun
