Great How-To video and easy to follow. I consider myself to be mechanically inclined but I don't think I would want to try that on my 2022 Sportage. Plus having to have the extra remote, I can barely carry all the crap I carry in my pockets already I don't want to add something else. Thanks

Hello, amazing video, it really helped me installing the same kit.on the same car, even though the kit comes with a manual but seeing the steps is faster and easier. I have one issue with this kit, it's not bypassing the immobilizer and the engine is not starting, any suggested solution?
Is this module can be installed on factory start/stop models? If so do we need to leave OEM keyfob inside the vehicle to be able to start engine remotly?

Awesome video. I’m going to use this video to install my remote starter into my 2018 Sportage. Does the AC/heat need to be manually turned on already in order for that to turn on when you use the remote starter?
I purchased mine from the dealership. There are 2 versions one for cars with the start push button, and one for cars without the push button remote start from the factory.
There are two different remote starters for this KIA. One is for a key start car, the other is if your KIA had a push button start stop and no key needed in ignition. Hope this helps to clarify.

I am not sure. Mine worked right away. I think there is a different kit if you have a push button starter, my KIA has a key start.

Yes!, There was a different OE kit for the KIA Sportage models with the push start button. Not sure of the kit number but it is different than mine.

Yes, You would need to leave the AC or heat on so that it turns on with the vehicle.
