crazy to think about revolver wasnt even beatles first drug album, they already started in 1965, harrison had turned 22 that year. Rubber soul was their pot album, even lennon said that.
An electric storm by white noise I can say changed my life positively. So many good albums you have here, nice collection! Most all the albums shown I have a few favorites from each one. Hope to have collection like this some day :)
Wouldn’t mind seeing all of these up close. I’m familiar with a lot of them, but you have plenty that I’m not. Unfortunately I can’t see the titles for a lot of them so I’m not sure what to search for.
My favorite album Quicksilver Messenger Service "Happy Trails", fantastic version Bo Diddley "Who do you love", "Mona"...and more. Doors, Spirit, Iron Butterfly, Pretty Thinks...my favorite albums too. Great time and great music!
wow - you have them all !! Gratulation.A very fine Collection - had a lot of Fun with your Video.I got many from your Stuff on cheap illegal Reissues. ...are that all original Pressings ?
I've had an abiding interest in psychedelia for over 40 years. I've watched at least 15-20 of these 'greatest psych albums' & rarely is the Dead's 'Anthem of the Sun' mentioned. What's worse is that not one of these viddys has ever (that I'm aware of) mentioned Kaleidoscope's first album 'Side Trips', which puts the fail to a 'greatest psych records' video. & how about the first & greatest of this particular genre, the 13th Floor Elevators? Even Paul Kantner said they were the best. Perhaps they are shown here, but I don't want to spend 8+ minutes to find out. How about a list? So go ahead, drop some good, clean acid & listen to both of the above suggestions.
Nice to see both our.albums in thank you take care keep rockin cheers Dan
Browsing album collections in the 70s was a favorite pastime when visiting friends, getting stoned, worrying about nothing.
Lovely, lovely, lovely the Dead playing Sugar Magnolia. All Those beautiful albums.
A man of few words....
... but many great records.
The best psych collection I’ve seen on UA-cam. You have the Elevators AND the Silver Apples. Both of them were innovators of the genre.
There were so many in there that I love. Wow
if I could choose one stack of records to live with for the rest of my life it would be this stack , gem after gem
Wow what a collection here...just subbed to you im Paul btw..now I will have Sugar Magnolia stuck inmy head all day and thats a good thing
Some killer vinyl in that stack.
