I go through this almost every year. I sell at local craft shows every Fall so when the season ends I go into a funk. I think it’s because I am not getting the feedback. My inspiration comes from watching you tubers like you and a lot from Pinterest as well.
Interesting about when you are not getting the feedback. There are worse things going on in the world than my sewing mojo but interesting to hear how it affects so many. Thankyou X

You should let yourself buy some new fabric! You make beautiful things and obviously love it and life is short so you should allow yourself to do what makes you happiest.
Ooh! I am definitely going to buy that pdf! That's my ideal coat shape too. Hopefully you can do some video tutorials for it, too. Big sizing would definitely help me (bust 132cms!) but it's OK if it doesn't quite go that far - I'm used to grading 😉
So about 50inches? I will check against sizing chart but very interested in how you have been doing your own grading. Do you watch tutorials for it or have always know? I have to pay some one to go the digital grating on the patterns and it really adds up. Thankyou, Tree X
@@StitchlessTV 52". I appreciate that I'm well into the plus-size range, and I always need to do FBAs. I only started dressmaking again about 7 years ago, after having stopped in my 20s, when I was a very different shape! I had to learn about fit adjustments and grading from blogs, from pattern cutting courses, from UA-cam. If a pattern can go up to a size 22 or so, I can usually grade it fairly easily, but in the past I've had to grade from a size 18, which is more work than I really care to do! It's meant that I don't tend to try every new pattern going, because I can't be bothered to go through major pattern-futzing every time. Once I've done the adjusting, I'll try to use the pattern again. Generally, I tend to stick to a few tried and tested patterns, and tweak them enough that it doesn't look I made the same dress 10 times. PS I kind of lost my own sew-jo last year, and I still haven't finished the dress from the Sew Different Everyday Chic dress workshop on Zoom! I really must sort that out before the Spring hits.

Hello Kath, its actually been more than a year and half since my last upload (oo...almost feels like I'm in confession!) I am still working on lots of stuff but I just feel a bit irrelevant or something. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement and you never know ...could find my way back soon. Tree x
Back to my Comment [ i didn't expected nothing less ]. I mean the beautiful coat you made for your friend, i am sure many people there was thinking WHO IS THIS DESIGNER ,who made that coat.
Loosing mojo for while that is o.k.. You are not that person , maybe just for a 1 week, and you are there with another Ideas . Kamilla Canada
Well....I hope so.....it has been 2months but not for much longer now. I appreciate all the comments. Tree x
Greetings
Loving that red coat you should make a pattern for it.
Thankyou. Better get my skates on....only got 3weeks X
Thankyou X
Awwwww so sorry to hear you’ve lost your sewing mojo….and yessss you should make a pattern out of the coat…i know i always need more coats…..so…..can u please go to uk size 20 please….yes 20……hmmmmm…….
Absolutely and beyond..... Thankyou, in recovery now Xx
Hello my friend you just make only one video about making a beautiful teddy bear , do you intend to make another video about this industrial
Hello, I do have more than 200 video tutorials but do you mean about making toys and Teddy bears? Thankyou
Noooooo you are a beautiful fantastic sweetheart genius
Aw.....That's so lovely of you!!! It's more not having the inspiration or drive or feel good enough about myself to sew for me. Thankyou so much. Tree X
@@StitchlessTV oh Tree that makes me want to give you a hug. I think you can do the most amazing things with fabric and you look wonderful in everything. I hope you can be buoyed up by knowing spring is coming with brighter days 💚
Red is power baby doll😊
Really....OK, maybe I'll wear it
This happens to me tree, like for some reason i can't just go make something for the sake of it ... ya know when i see people making little tiny things and im just like why hehe 😂😂😂
Yes.. .if is hard and I know if is a thing but I really have to get it back!! (I Think it's nearly here) Hope you are well. Tree
@@StitchlessTV awww same to you tree hun, i love watching all your videos x
Yes please!!!! I am size 20 please
Size 20 would be fantastic
Ok. UK size 20?
@@StitchlessTV yes please uk size 20
Up to 48" bust so I can wear it please Tree xxx
So UK size 20, yep....definitely will have that size. X
You should let yourself buy some new fabric! You make beautiful things and obviously love it and life is short so you should allow yourself to do what makes you happiest.
I know....but just feels wrong (you've not seen my stash) I'm going to list some fabrics this week and then it's fabric buying party time x
💕
Thanks
😍
Thankyou
