As a Union taper since 70 yes that puts me up there I have pretty much only operated with Ames and I do own a 30 something Tapeworm it actually still works well my father left it to me so I break it out occasionally but am in the market for a new gun thanks for a very informative video. By the by I taped on the big island in 72 for about ayear good times!

Nice guns, bro! I rock a TT07 easyclean, which is a great gun. Enclosed rollers, quick release end cap, plus they added a brake finally.
Solid that was my go to before the Columbia then I sold it to a friend.

I use Columbia but my next taper will be the hybrid carbon northstar after comparing weight . northstar is better .
1. northstar hybrid carbon 5.12 lb
2. tapetech carbon 5 .65 lb
3. predator Columbia 8 lb
regular columbia 9lb
that's why you dont feel much difference between predator and previous taper because there is not much there.
Northstar almost 3 lb lighter that's a difference

How much for the monster mesh?!!!
That first tape tech you got from your dad....do you know about what year or model it is? And does it have a adjustable break? I just picked up the same one from a old taper I know.
Sorry brother cant really say what year it is but there's no adjustable brake on the older models.

Tapetech is way better than Colombia! Colombia has to many dry spots for the first 3 inches!
