I prayed the other night, apologized, and asked for His forgiveness. I still felt alone. I asked Him for a sign that He was still there. The next day, I was surfing through the radio stations and heard this song. I almost cried (almost - I am a man, after all) because I knew this was His sign to me. I love this song.
I was part of a great revival. Thousands saved and many church's came out of the revival of the late 1960's and 1970's. Seen and prayed with people. I could use that prayer as a framework. You know, Jesus saw their hearts. Period. I work with street people in, a northern city. You know, I never see Jesus say,, "nah, that guy said heart", I am not going to come into him and change Him. I was never a drug addict again. I have said many sayings to my children and grandchildren, that they have no idea about. One of my sons, said, you know, when your generation goes, no one will know those sayings. This is the same. It may not be my heart, it does not say heart, but it says, I am sealed, it also says if He does not dwell in me, "I am none of His". So, no, not my heart, but in me. It makes a soldier feel safe and it makes a soldier break down it tears remembering what they have lost and what they have gained being a soldier. God is the most amazing father ever and loves us so much. I was addicted to porn,cheated on my wife and called her dreams of being a missionary to Africa stupid because i didnt agree with them. Who was i to say God was wrong???? God has saved me and changed my heart to Africa where i now sponsor a little boy in Ghana. God has given me everything even when i didnt deserve it and i will give it all back to serve him. My pray is God will somehow fix my family and put us in Africa to serve him.

I guess I failed to state in my experience of meeting Him. I really didn't know what sin was I don't think, but I knew I was terribly broken, something inside of me. I had no self righteousness. Hey being a drug addict, that was something,, just a state of mind I knew when the Holy Spirit convicted me. But I didn't know the word "sin", I did know a heart that was in deep need and broken. Anyway, I realize I didn't state that, it was certainly there. I am still in need today. Mercy and Grace.

Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. Some may, some may not. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
one last, I gotta go to bed, lol, To be honest, I don't worry about how far I can live from Him. My heart each and every moment is how close can I be to Him. He fills my heart with Him. I go out walking and a smile starts from my heart and goes out to others. I work still, lol, and I think that is why He has me go downtown. To not hide the candle He is in me. Not after, but right when we come to knowledge of what Christ has done for us. That is when we are sealed. Once we realize that Christ did it all and there's nothing left to be done besides accept it. The only real salvation experience that is similar to what people claim today, like crazy things happening. Sure it's an epiphany of a sort, but nothing crazy happens. It's just a realization of the completeness of the work of Christ. At that moment by FAITh we are sealed.

God does not expect any of his children to be perfect. Do not try. Yes, you will make mistakes along the way as all of us do. As long as you believe with all your heart that God loves you and gave his only Son to save us from our sins, have been baptized or whatever your religion does, and try to live by the word of God as best you can, then I believe you are truly saved. All religions are different. I am Baptist and that is what we believe.

These ideals are changed inside a soldier. The flag means hardship, victory, and courage. It makes a soldier feel safe and it makes a soldier break down it tears remembering what they have lost and what they have gained being a soldier.
Freedom, Liberty, Duty and Justice is what we enlisted for but what we achieved was brotherhood and a flag that brings troops together with pride.

God is the most amazing father ever and loves us so much. I was addicted to porn,cheated on my wife and called her dreams of being a missionary to Africa stupid because i didnt agree with them. Who was i to say God was wrong???? God has saved me and changed my heart to Africa where i now sponsor a little boy in Ghana. God has given me everything even when i didnt deserve it and i will give it all back to serve him. My pray is God will somehow fix my family and put us in Africa to serve him.

I guess I failed to state in my experience of meeting Him. I really didn't know what sin was I don't think, but I knew I was terribly broken, something inside of me. I had no self righteousness. Hey being a drug addict, that was something,, just a state of mind I knew when the Holy Spirit convicted me. But I didn't know the word "sin", I did know a heart that was in deep need and broken. Anyway, I realize I didn't state that, it was certainly there. I am still in need today. Mercy and Grace.

1)Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. Some may, some may not. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
one last, I gotta go to bed, lol, To be honest, I don't worry about how far I can live from Him. My heart each and every moment is how close can I be to Him. He fills my heart with Him. I go out walking and a smile starts from my heart and goes out to others. I work still, lol, and I think that is why He has me go downtown. To not hide the candle He is in me. Summer is here and lots more street kids, love when I get to talk to them about Him. Isn't works, is a blessing. night

Thsi reminds me of how seeing my son make bad choices and go thru things how it hurt me to see him ruin his life this is how God feels about us turning from him. I pray for my son I know God is hurting because of our sins and he loves more then we. How awsome i never want to disappoint my father. I know how heart broken i am over my son. there are good Christians that believe they can and I will not say they are not Christians that believe that. I see the scriptures that frankly make me wonder and have had discussions with some about it. I see His grace as able to keep me and have been on my knees telling Him, I don't trust me, this is my walk with my King as others have theirs, this is not something I will agree with someone anymore. I think He will keep me and gives me the desire to walk and worship Him each day. It's enough.

Yes! Ephesians 2:8 "By grace you have been saved BY FAITH.."
Not after, but right when we come to knowledge of what Christ has done for us. That is when we are sealed. Once we realize that Christ did it all and there's nothing left to be done besides accept it. The only real salvation experience that is similar to what people claim today, like crazy things happening. Sure it's an epiphany of a sort, but nothing crazy happens. It's just a realization of the completeness of the work of Christ. At that moment by FAITh we are sealed.

God does not expect any of his children to be perfect. Do not try. Yes, you will make mistakes along the way as all of us do. As long as you believe with all your heart that God loves you and gave his only Son to save us from our sins, have been baptized or whatever your religion does, and try to live by the word of God as best you can, then I believe you are truly saved. All religions are different. I am Baptist and that is what we believe.
