My best friend of 34 years stood with me as my maid of honor. 5 days later when I was on my honeymoon, she took her own life. That was 10 years ago. This song carried me through the literal hell of being a suicide survivor...it still does.

I have to admit that I never listen to Christian music . At the same time I do not feel good about putting a label on any music that is good . This morning in the early am hours my wife still sleeping I was tuning across the fm radio dial and heard the last half of this song . Thinking this sounds like Amy Grant . Not sure of the title I went by Better Then A Hallelujah . And here I am . Amy Grants voice just flows with little effort . This song moves you almost touches the soul Amy's voice is outstanding so blessed for carrying a message to all who take time to listen . This song is life .

This is my favorite song, I played it for my husband when things got tough while he slept. To calm his soul. I also played it for my mother in law before she passed on to a greater life with Jesus. This song reminds me of the love my husband and I shared, We separated for 23 years and reunited. We are both on spiritual journeys in separation again. I love him so much ❤️💞 I realized I had to let him go in order for us to grow. I miss him more than I can say..

I remember when this song came out. I was a regular christian at church doing what we were supposed to be doing. But I never felt right, even in church. This song spoke to me and meant more than all the sermons I've heard. I still listen to sermons but now it's different. This song still helps me even today when I blow it sometimes. Amen🕊️
Remember we are saved by His grace not by any score card of how good we can be. We can never be good enough to earn our way or to earn His Love. He Loved us even when we were yet in our sins. He loves us now even when we still sin. But He yet says "Turn from your sin". So don't stop trying and know you are saved through what He finished when He rose from the dead.

I think you're missing the bigger point here. When you know you're loved to the core of your being it comes out of you. It expresses itself outwardly.
Seriously, what did Jesus say the greatest commandments were? His love in us and through us is what's supposed to distinguish us from the world. Not policing outward behavior.
God is always after our hearts and He's always after a relationship whereas too much of the church, and this is what part of the problem was with the Pharisees when Jesus walked this Earth, is policing outward behavior and only being concerned about that because too much of the church functions like a behavior modification system. It doesn't function like a covenant relationship or a family. Not with God and not with each other.
And in so doing it misses the heart, it misses the relationship, and it misses all of the love....The love God has for us, the love we're called to have for ourselves the way God loves us, the love we're called to have for one another, our neighbors and even our enemies like Jesus.
None of the fruit of the Spirit is being born because we don't let God into our hearts fully and all the rotten fruits of sin and shame and condemnation and pride and fear and lust and so many other horrible things are what's coming out of the church instead.
It's impossible to know that you're loved on the inside and not have it show up outwardly at some point.

He has deliveered me twice from cancer, He has blessed my children, He changed my Atheist fathers heart before he died, and took my father to heaven in answer to my prayer. I KNOW God, and have a personal, committed relationship with Him. I am not here to be judged by man, but God alone. I KNOWI will have to face Him and answer for all I do, and say here. This video reminds me of the separation I had with my twin sister at birth, going two different homes. but I was still alive...after told I was Deceased.. felt the lost of this pain for years, like I knew she was always there through my heart, soul. and dreams I had of her...the connection of Twins is very power, with god in mind always.. God revealed the truth in me in the most strongest way possible when no one else would.. GOD IS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH AND TEST OF TIME with so much more to offer.. I will always love him forever even when I feel like he stepped away. I am so grateful I know the truth.. thankyou god for giving me my strength from her through you.. this made my whole journey in life all worth finding the truth, with out it I am lost. more on my journey to come that is so truthfully unbelievable through god. he is real

During an interview at a radio station, I believe in Nashville, Tenn., Amy mentioned, while she toured, she also worked as a technician, using a new procedure treating people with trauma. If Amy or someone from her circle reads this, please respond to this. I am very interested in this procedure and want more information about it. I am also impressed by what she is doing in the mental health field. This makes me love and appreciate her even more! I have been a fan of hers for 40 years!

None of us are perfect including myself. Being christian isn't about being perfect, it's about admitting to your flaws, accepting Christ as your redeemer, and trying to take steps to walk towards the Lord instead of away. I have my problems too but that's what makes Jesus so much more special. He carries our sin for us because all have fallen short off the Glory of God. God bless and take care :)
I don't think so. Some of us are perfect, including myself. Being a Christian is about being perfect just as Jesus commands us to be perfect (Matthew 5.48). Since then did God or Jesus said that we should not be perfect? While we admit our fault, we should strive to be perfect as Job and Noah were. We should be keeping all God's Commandments and be blameless as Zecharias and Elisabeth were (Luke 1.5, 6). The fact that Jesus takes away our sin is the evidence that God does not want to to commit sin, but to stop sinning, to "Go and sin NO MORE" and to "walk in the statues of life WITHOUT COMMITTING INIQUITY" (Ezekiel 33.15). After Abraham was justified in Genesis 15, still God tells him, "WALK BEFORE ME AND BE PERFECT" (Genesis 17.1). To the Israelites God says the same: "You must be perfect with the LORD your God" (Deuteronomy 18.13). Jesus says the same, "you must be perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5.48). Jesus did not say, "You must be imperfect just as your Father in heaven is perfect." This perfection means literal perfection, not maturity. Nothing short of perfection can meet God's approval (Leviticus 22.21). And God gave His Son to die in our place and explained to us the Scriptures so that by it we can be partakers of the divine nature and be sanctified (John 17.17; 2Peter 1.3-11). He gave His Spirit as power for good. God gave every provision for our advantage in order for His redeemed people to be perfect, lacking in nothing. Jesus did not come and die so that all we have to do is believe in what He did. He lived, obeyed the Commandments, and died so that we should also live, obey the Commandments and die, doing exactly as He did, and overcome as He did (Revelation 3.21). To believe in Jesus, and yet disobeying His Commandment is hypocrisy and living contrary to God's Law. Jesus will reject us for that (Matthew 7.23; Luke 6.46; Matthew 24.48-51). He died so that He can empower us to obey the Law that we broke and keep on breaking. Remembering His death, reading and practicing the doctrines of the Bible will separate sin from us and sanctify us so that sin becomes hateful to us, and we will not want to commit sin any more. This experience is the reality of the new covenant where God wants to write His Laws on the tablets of our soul, just as He wrote them on stones. The same Laws including the Sabbath should be written on our hearts. If that happens, sin finds no place, and our previous sins will be remembered no more. Unfortunately a lot of Christians still live in slavery in the old covenant, that is, being slaves to sin, because they keep on transgressing the Law (1John 3.4). Anyone who sins is a slave (John 8.34), and sin is lawbreaking (1John 3.4). Therefore righteousness is observing the Law, not faith or belief but obedience to the Commandments.

You tell them, BUT with love. NOT condemnation, LOVE. You keep telling them, keep planting the seeds, keep showing them the way, keep reminding them. You do not pronounce judgment - YOU have NO CLUE what God is, or isn't going to do. He tels us what He MAY do, if we do not changeour HEARTS. So, until you can look into another persons heart, the way GOD CAN,you are working against the word of God with your biblical rants.
