Jolting feedback has breathed so much life into arc weapons for me, it’s one of the best perks for arc weapons now, if not the best in the game and FAR superior to volt shot. It’s unbelievably good on this pulse, I can’t wait to see what it’s like on a scout rifle. That new void perk that applies weaken is great too.

I tried both, Jolting Feedback is just tons better. Just use voltshot on bows and breech loaded GL's, jolting Feedback on everything else.

Especially with it's origin trait being synergistic with jolting feedback, and ANTI-synergistic with voltshot, makes feedback much better, at least on this particular gun :)
Stats for all works with feedback too, voltshot is just a bad roll for the origin trait the mag is often overflowed if you aren't constantly missing headshots. The loop for voltshot is reload after every kill.

Not only is jolting feedback better, it’s much better for this specific weapon cause with the origin trait, it’ll overflow the mag when you pic up the ball and then you can’t reload to proc voltshot, so the weapons perks actively fight eachother

jolting feedback is far superior in high end game content. like any dmg perk that triggers on dmg and not on kills. voltshot is good when u can kill adds qucikly. otherwise its borderline useless.
This perk is great for add clear too. It's % of the mag hit I believe, not on just a single target. So as you're mowing down adds you'll notice every 3rd or 4th burst you'll trigger a jolt. Anytime an orange bar or higher appears you just lay into them and let it take care of adds. It's just so damn good.
This was intentional to make players see the difference between the two and how they feel. Each with a niche use, voltshot meant for lower HP ad clear and Jolting feedback for tougher targets.
Jolting feedback is much better for endgame content and voltshot for low level content like normal strikes, Raids, dungeons etc but jolting feedback is also playable on low level content so it’s better over all
Also with the Dark Ether thing that comes with it kinda makes it even more annoying to proc Voltshot-glad the new Jolting Feedback is a thing and if anything is better for the weapon
I just don't know what I want to pair with it. Realistically you don't need a reload speed perk on this because of the origin trait. Even if you do need to reload you're typically playing at a range with the pulse where you can comfortably reload. So I'm torn between Closing Time, Lone Wolf, or just sticking with one of the reload stat perks anyways.

If you can chain kills then voltshot is better because you’ll kill an enemy usually before jolting feedback procs, but if you are in content where you aren’t getting kills often, i.e. GMs then jolting feedback is better!! In difficult content, perks that activate from just using the weapon will always be better than effects that require not just a kill, but also a reload!!

I honestly think voltshot is one of the most overrated perks. The fact you have to reload every single time you want to proc is annoying and if you want to do any decent work beyond red bars it feels like you need to build into it. Give me incandescent or destabilizing rounds instead.
Do a vid on The new area denial Gl with attrition orbs . It is busted 😂 And the heavy Gl with demo + explosive light is a 10/10 weapon for song of flame warlocks. You can empty your reserves without reloading once and still having a ice breaker or a still hunt, orrrr … you can run the special GL with it to stack explosive light almost infinitely and run a Izzy for the extra damage or witherhoard for the passive damage. Oh yeah , with the artifact you can increase the rate of fire with grenade launchers upon hits so Gl really go burrrr😂. It’s my go to over the overture now in the vesprs final boss and I’m yet to try it in anything else yet though.

Eh, there’s a LOT of forbidden weapons the Vanguard and others say shouldn’t exist: Red Death, Crimson, Thorn, Deathbringer, Ruinous Effigy, Malfeasance, Bad Juju, Osteo Striga, Touch of Malice, Centrifuse, Delicate Tomb, Whisper of the Worm, Queenbreaker. And these are just the in-lore weapons that are deemed by certain characters are too dangerous, prone to corrupt people, or seen as taboo because of infamous reputation.
For a pulse rifle, feedback is actually probably better. Having to reload every kill on a pulse to get the jolt kinda sucks, but sustained damage? Great

I've got Eddie's Current and Jolt together and it seems better than the Volt Shot, Stats for All version! Especially in higher end content!
