The frequency response lecture in relation to recording and live playing by Marcus is some golden wisdom by him.

I just bought this amp and although I’m a guitar player, I needed a great bass sound for my studio and along with my fender precision with Aguilar active pickups... well... it’s the most heavenly bass combination I’ve ever heard!

Love the EQ bypass feature. Markbass often uses an EQ circuit that is still active even when going into the power amp input.

The guy in the guitar store plugged me into one of Miller's signature Markbass combo when I wanted to play a fretless for the first time. I got great sound maybe it was the fretless I don't know but it was super easy to shape the eq and it changed the whole sound and I always got a good sound out of it. Not to mention the old school and Millerizer knobs. Even though I prefer more of mids in my tone the more I turned the Millerizer knob more I liked the sound.

I wanna know whats under the hood, cus I have a Littlemark tube 800 and it seems like the same thing... Sounds great with my Sire p7, and also with my Ibanez srsc805 with tapewounds, and my Ibanez btb686sc strung eadgc with light gauge. Same idea, as far as just amplifying the sound of each bass, that I can use it for any bass/any style. The "old school" and "millerizer" knobs are handy though, for a quick one touch vibe change. Love Markbass! Love the Sire basses! Love music!

It's pretty obvious that Mark Bass had to steal some design concepts from EBS to get what Marcus wanted. But I get it, paid endorsements help pay the bills. I used Markbass for about 7 years and they are very good amps, but EBS just blew me away with the quality of sound and build. I'm willing to lug the heavy Proline cabs cause of the sound and incredible power output, but That's how crazy I am LOL! I'd still recommend Markbass to players though.

Nothing like forgetting his name when all you gotta do is look at the damn amp.

Millerizer, Old School.Just different names for what was already there. Is that just a marketing gimmick? I have two Markbass LM II amps, they sound good and they have plenty of Booty. I never need to use the two filters. Almost flat is great. .Even though I'm a huge Marcus fan, I don't see a reason to change.

Then again, you're not Miller, and it's his amp.

Full range bass cabinets have been used for years Chris Squire used them in 1970 but beware it can soon turn to mudd in the mix. But why 800watt + if you are lining out to FOH why a DI and microphone live? Interview 50% fact 50%BS
