@@antoniomarin9061 He is a victim of human greed. He was savagely captured, taken away from his home, and put on display for money. He was in love with the woman in the movie (don't remember the character's name), but it wasn't reciprocated.

When he lives in a remote place, and then is forcible ripped from his home by Americans so he can be taken to the US, kept in chains and used as a carnival side show? Yeah. He breaks free, and understandably, as a mostly wild animal, then gets a bit mad, and he's murdered for it. How is he not the victim?

It wasn't Steven Spielberg who regretted making the movie Jaws. It was the Peter Benchley who regretted writing the book.

He didn't regret the millions it made him and in his own words he said he was thrilled that Jaws inspired so many youngsters to become fascinated by sharks instead of horrified by them.
All he said is that if he knew in the early 1970s what he knew in later decades then he wouldn't have written it.

King Kong used stop motion animation. Spearheaded by Ray Harryhausen, ahead of it's time. Made in 1933.

I remember watching A Quiet Place in theaters and when it got to the waterfall scene EVERYONE took the opportunity to open their candy. We all had the same mindset of "this might be my only chance!" and it was hilarious!

Still Jaws is a very good movie. But please, sharks in general aren't that bad! Give them some space, and please unhook them when you try to catch & release them!

Fun Vecna trivia: In Dungeons & Dragons lore, Vecna is an infamous lich. His name is an anagram of Vance, which was inspired by fantasy and sci-fi author, Jack Vance. Jack Vance wrote the Dying Earth series, which featured a "Vancian magic system" where magic-users would study to memorize their spells and then once they cast them, the magic information was erased from their brains and they would need to study again before being able to cast the spell again. This Vancian magic system was used in older versions of D&D for a very long time. You have now had your vintage D&D lesson for today. lol ;-)

The entire theater was SCREAMING in horror at the sons death scene when my roommates and I went to the midnight premier of "A QUIET PLACE" I was on edge!

TBH the T-rex in Jurassic Park never realyl scared me (probably because my brother thought it was cute and called it cuties names), but the Raptors in the kitchen scene? Peed my pants, and still terrified to this day.

Well at least those are actually monsters, unlike Rexy or Jaws, which were animals.
Speaking of the kid, Alex Kintner, boy on the float in Jaws killed by the shark reunited with his movie's "mom" many years later at a restaurant that he owns. Lee Fierro, mom Kintner went into a restaurant and ordered a Alex Kintner's special on the menus from server. I guess that server recognized her from Jaws. He went to his boss, Jeffery Voorhees aka her late son, Alex. Lee and Jeffery reunited at his restaurant.
A quiet place is one of the reasons why I refuse to have kids

The Chrismas light does come from the Demogorgon though. I guess technically any creature (including humans) that was in the area in the upside down would energize the lights in real life, but in those scenes, it was the Demogorgon, not Vecna that was in the upside down
Slappy the dummy, was pretty scary from goosebumps. As a kid, he kinda scared me.
Fun fact: The T-Rex crashing through the top of the car wasn't supposed to happen. The animamatronic malfunctioned and crashed through. Which is why all the actors were scared and shocked by what they were seeing.

3:10 Because instead of the monster heading in the direction of his kid it would have gone towards the rest of his family. A lose/lose situation either way. His only hope was making it to the kid first and pulling him away from the noise maker.
I almost got all of them right. Samara and Leatherface were the ones that stumped me.

The funny part is I watched King Kong as well as A Quiet Place, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Godzilla and Chucky & The ring, but the only one I got right was Jaws.😂 I stink at this guessing game.

So the animatronic T-Rex was an actual monster during the filming of that movie. At one point it started to malfunction and almost seriously injured several of the crew and cast.
Yeah, I think I read that the part (shown in this video), where the T-Rex smashes its head through the plexiglass roof of the car, that was a goof and it wasn't supposed to smash down so hard. Fortunately, the kids didn't get hurt, but they were truly genuinely terrified... but they did keep that scene in the movie, since it worked so well. lol
@@KabukiKid There were also a few times where it started moving on its own one of the crew came very close to being Rexy food for real.
I like how the answer is blurred and bleeped so as not to give it away but they literally plastered EVERY answer right in the thumbnail. A very limited multiple choice game then.

I have not seen a quiet place, but in a world where you have to be quiet why would you let your child have a toy that makes a noise?
In the beginning, the family goes to a mart for supplies and eventhough the dad stops the kid from taking the toy, the kid takes it anyway, without anyone's knowledge and switches it on, on the bridge. So yeah.
I thought that it was actually the kid’s sister who gave the kid batteries to put on the toy because the father had originally taken them out of the toy. Could be wrong though.
Edit: so I was half right and wrong. The sister gave him the toy, just without the batteries, but the kid took them without anyone noticing.
The deaf daughter gives it to him not knowing it makes noise, just lights
For the Jaws clue, I actually thought it was gonna be the Blob.
I thought red dragon just by red. I think some of these clues are awful and have nothing to do with the movie. Doll, m3gan, Annabelle, chucky several other movies

During the MAKING of the film the mechanical shark contraptions were called Bruce, but in the actual film there is no name given to the shark.
Waited all this time for actual monsters, especially the best one from Cloverfield and hoping for cult hits like The Void, Love and Monsters, The Thing, Dreamcather and The Host. I think monster in my eyes was having actual creature feature villains than just demonic possessions or ghosts like Chucky, The Ring or Annabelle. Even Pacific Rim or Alien or Slither would have fit better than most of the choices that were used.
None of the those you mentioned are well known monsters. The monsters they used here is 1000% better than the list you mentioned. 🤦♂
@@maplenerd22 Yeah because Cloverfield wasn't a massive success, no one knows who Stephen King or John Carpenter is, The Host wasn't an international hit and none of the others had rejuvenated life once added to streaming apps. Good grief, might want to stay in your lane. And FYI, half of those on their list weren't monsters, they were supernatural demons, spirits or entities. Maybe just keep moving next time rather than make a senseless remark. 🤦♂️

I think y’all confused the sprinkler scene from scary movie lol. I don’t remember seeing any sprinklers in the scream scene or in that clip, however, there was a sprinkler when they spoofed that same scene tho in scary movie

I saw Jurassic Park in the theater and right as the goat leg hit the top of the SUV, the projector bulb burned out and we just listened to everything that happened in the clip you showed.
On the plus side, they did back it up and fix it and they gave everyone tickets for another show. Also, it's a story.

Someone hasn't watched 'A Quiet Place'. He doesn't call out to the kid because then the monsters would come after him too. Sound is deadly. But by all means, scream for your kid to run. That's gonna help.
