@@g-coversa I've shot some paid work on the RP. Used it in 4k with manual focus. Set the profile to Neutral - default settings. If your lens doesn't have IS, the digital IS in camera can be used... I had the RODE Video Micro on top plugged in for scratch audio. In Post I would add just a bit of contrast to the color.
Just picked up a used RP. I like it. IQ and dynamic range not nearly as good as my Sony a7iv or my previous Panasonic S1, but it's still very nice. Two things I love are the multiple exposure feature and focus bracketing. I can't believe none of my other cams have had those and makes the RP a keeper for me.
I really like the Canon RP. I shoot RAW and always get pretty good results. I rarely take my ISO above 400. It's a great first mirrorless full-frame system.
The Canon RP is a solid choice, especially for a first full-frame mirrorless! Shooting in RAW definitely brings out the best in it. Keeping ISO low helps maintain that clean, sharp quality-sounds like you’ve got a great workflow going!
You made some really good points about the RP. I would also add that the auto focus in 4k practically is non existent. Also the biggest benefit at least for me is the price and the weight. I can take it everywhere. Btw, do you have any stock tips? Which agencies to use, etc. Thanks.
I see a tendency of the exposure to underexpose, and shoot more times at above the read. Once you get too dark, you will have way too much grain on a persons face. You can use grain smoothing, but then detail goes.
That's exactly the main challenge of that camera. However I'd rather underexpose a little, tiny bit than overexpose and loose some details that are impossible to recover on rp
I've been using Canon RP for about a year, already have 2 bodies and worked with weddings and portraits - all i could say it is great until its limit. :)
@@JacekSopotnicki that, plus its a bit too slow in key moments, bride and groom confetti moment you would like a high burst rate and sharp focus on each shot... RP is okay in that situation but not great.. you could miss the shot you want. in Video, there's a slight frame shift when panning or tilting too fast 9Not really useable for commercial work)...it is a nice camera..
Hi, i am about to buy Canon RP with 24-105 f4 or Canon R6 with 50mm for weddings i do have another dslr Nikon D700 which i still use for candids, which setup would you recommend as a wedding photographing business.? Thanks.
If possible, buy the r6. As mentioned in the video, rp will bring a lot of noise when the shadow is lifted. Also, it's hard to shoot in low ISO during weddings, even with flash. Highly recommend r6, which is great for low light.
What makes me crazy is in the early morning i get a shot how i want it then press the button and it blows it out of focus, then doesn’t take it. What do I need to do the change that?
I was thinking to get the RP since it's one of the smallest and lightest full frame cameras. Thank you for helping me decide not to buy the Canon RP. I will better save some more and get the Canon R6 mark II. Besides the lightweight and small size, I am interested in best dynamic range, high ISO quality and a better focusing system than in my old 5D mark III. I hated the most the poor dynamic range in my 5D mark III and the RP does not seem to be any better. Thank you!
Just got my new RP yesterday & i think it is awesome, love it.😊
This is dope. I just bought mine too. Any tips for video settings?

How much would you recommend to underexpose?
Thinking of getting the canon rp for my youtube content, but unsure yet. What do you think of the canon 90d vs rp for video production?
Hard question, but I would still go for RP. Just make sure to turn the IS off.

Ola Joao! Yes I have a video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/NXw5-JZX2Yg/v-deo.html

Tip no. 1 is always never buy an RP. Wait for R8/9 at the end of the year.

whats the limit? and what lens do u have??
I guess you may be talking about low light performance and dynamic range?

If you want cheap and good wedding setup I would highly recommend Canon RP with 50mm F1.8 - for nice blurry background

Hello and thank you. What about image stabilization for stills?
I am wedding photographer, i want to upgrade from RP. Better go to R to R6?
R6 because of the dual holder and. You will get a better bang for your buck and you will see the difference friend of mine has one it’s crazy
lol dear god man look at the price difference. You can buy two RPs for the cost of one R6 🤪

The noise in shadow are horrible!!! Even in low iso.
Yes, it's a little bit like in older models, for example 5DIII / IV
Your appearence like vladimir putin
