  • What Killed the King of Pop?: The Death of Michael Jackson (Mystery Documentary) | Real Stories
Killing Michael Jackson is a 2019 documentary film directed and produced by ZigZag, focusing on the death of singer Michael Jackson. The documentary features Orlando Martinez, Dan Myers and Scott Smith - three detectives who were involved in the initial investigation of Jackson's death.
On June 25, 2009, American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, said he found Jackson in his room, not breathing and with a weak pulse, and administered CPR on Jackson to no avail.
On August 28, 2009, the Los Angeles County Coroner ruled that Jackson's death was a homicide. Shortly before his death, Jackson had reportedly been administered propofol and two anti-anxiety benzodiazepines, lorazepam, and midazolam, in his home. Law enforcement officials charged Murray with involuntary manslaughter on November 7, 2011, and served two years of his four-year prison sentence, early release per good behavior.

I personally think that's a stretch. The people who did actually want him gone, are extremely rich and powerful. They would have done a much neater job of killing him than this horrendous sh-tshow that Murray put on, in my opinion. Plus, Murray's ineptitude and sloppiness goes along with a very established pattern of his over time. If AEG or Sony wanted him dead, they wouldn't have risked it with a doctor like Murray. They would've hired a first rate doctor for MJ. Michael definitely believed people wanted him dead, but it seems the companies really needed him to make that money from the This Is It tour first.

Being famous from a tender age, abused & mocked as ugly by his own father, deprived of childhood, skyrocketed career after Thriller, trapped in 4 walls, didn't know who to trust because everyone was drawn to the famous Michael Jackson, not having normal life, Vitiligo, Lupus, third degree burns that lead to his addiction to painkillers, being mocked & ripped off by tabloids day by day, called as Wacko Jacko, falsely accused of child molestation,.... It’s honestly sad the way Michael’s life ended. He was stripped of his childhood by his father, got accused of being a p**ophile by the media, mocked and made fun of because of his looks and surgeries, and suffered both mental and psychical pain to the point he was losing sleep. To think that Michael would’ve been still alive if people would’ve left him alone. The poor man couldn’t even go grocery shopping like a normal human.

The thing that always stuck out to me is what Michaels bodyguard said. He said when he came into the room Conrad stated, " I never done this before but I have to do it he is my friend." Conrad was talking about mouth to mouth CPR. He was a cardiac cardiologist which is a heart specialist. How is it he did not know how to do CPR? The lowest of the low in medicine and doctors are taught CPR. I just thought that was a weird statement. Well done documentary.

He said he never done it before. Doesn't mean he isn't trained. Everyone who works in the health care system are trained to do CPR but that doesn't mean they perform it everyday. Kind of like nurses are better at inserting IV than doctors because nurses do this on a regular basis. Doctors are trained to do IV insertion but nurses get to actually practice it more often.

Makes you wonder why these unrelated white men are currently running his estate and getting paid and not his actual family. MJ's own kids literally had to beg them to get some of their personal belongings from childhood including their baby clothes and their dads pajamas. As far as charity goes, there has been no updates whether the money actually goes to any organizations.
His legacy is run by crooks who faked his will to get their hands on his assets. MJ was on the other side of the world when that will was signed. Impossible for him to have been in that place at the time. The person who actually had MJ's real will was mysteriously assassinated shortly after his death and it was swiftly destroyed.
Not only that but the current head of the estate John Branca have connections with Sony. The same company which MJ fought against when they tried to sabotage his career.

I’ve read the actual emails Kenny Ortega sent to the AEG guy Randy Phillips and they broke my heart beyond words. He once wrote about MJ having the chills and profoundly trembling in his dressing room and there was nobody to even make him a hot tea. Ortega had to rub his feet and try to warm him up with blankets and a heater himself while MJ was begging him not to leave him. It’s excruciating knowing how bad his condition was, how much pain he was in emotionally, mentally and physically and nobody did anything. The Murray character kept ensuring everyone that MJ is fine and would be performing as expected, that there was nothing wrong while in reality he needed a proper physician, a psychiatrist, a nutritionist, support from people who loved him... it’s incomprehensible to me how an actual doctor would allow this to happen.
Murray knew what him and Michael were doing was extremely risky and dangerous but went with it anyways. He exhibited brutal negligence by leaving Michael in that room (and it was for waay more than 2 minutes) and when he found him dying, he panicked which ended up causing MJ his life. This person should NEVER be allowed to practice medicine ever again let alone the fact he should still be in prison right now. The whole story is heartbreaking. This is information I leaned from watching the actual trial against Murray and the witness testimonies. Dr. Shafer was the star expert for me, he slayed the defense completely with his expertise. Rest In Peace, Michael! You’re so very loved and forever missed! 💔🙏🏻

the fact that he did cpr on the bed instead of moving Michael to the floor should have been a dead give away that he didn't intend to save his life. I still remember the dreadful day when my friends at school were talking about MJ's death and I didn't believe it. Later on, I heard a group of my teachers talk about it and that's when I realised Micheal Jackson, the man I had seen on TV talking about his big comeback was no more.
I was numb for sometime and then gathered myself, go through school, reached home and ran to my room without speaking a word to anyone at home. In my room, I was holding one of his music video DVDs of the album "History:Past, Present and Future" in my arms and crying. I couldn't believe it that the artist who made my childhood was no more.
RIP Micheal. It's the year 2021 and people still listen, dance, sway, shake their heads, laugh and cry to your music. You are truly "THE LEGEND"😔❤️

Michael’s death needed to be looked into more. No one said ANYTHING about the white bloody shirt they found in his closet, blood on the floor, or him forgetting things such as his left between his right during his final days. I think there was more people involved besides the “doctor” but if not there’s definitely 100% more to story. I think maybe a group of bad guys like a dark force was targeting him and the doctor was apart of group. You can tell Michael knew we was being targeted and wanted help by the many emotional phones he made with people closest to him. If Michael told his EX WIFE that someone was going to try to kill him I’m sure he told someone else that was close or closer as well. And a year maybe a fews months later.. you see on the news “King of pop dead at 50!”. I don’t think anyone really actually believed him.. poor innocent man. I love and miss you dearly Michael.

Very well done documentary. And I have to say this the detectives and investigators and LA PD really gave Michael Jackson the up most respect in this case. Bravo to them for putting aside any negative feelings or anything towards Michael Jackson. They did their job. Much respect to all of them. We miss you Michael Jackson and we love you!

Very unfortunate may his saul rest in peace and the doctor who caused this death never see peace.

A lot of people want to speculate about what happened but the documentary was very well done and the LAPD did give Michael Jackson all the respect he deserved. I will add that I think he was pushed into doing that tour as part of his contract for his fame and fortune. That’s the way it rolls when you sell your soul to the devil.

Why? It's the media who smears and tarnishes every bit of Michael's character, not the investigators. This "negative feelings aside" crap is stupid, they are doing their job, and again: it's the media who treats MJ like a freak.

Michael had just gained 50% control of Sony Records and all of the distribution rights and his contract was about over all needed was to give Sony one single record deal and he said Sony Executive's were very angry at him so me personally think that Sony was behind the orchestration of Michaels death.

I don't care what they want to say about Michael he was and will always be the greatest entertainer ever lived. He is a Legend and I respect his legacy. He is resting, let him be. I love you Michael I felt as though I knew you and am sure that's the effect you had on the world. You were the best.
