Thank you so much for taking time to put this tutorial together Ross. The render looks sick!!....Though found myself having to slow the speed, pause very frequently and even go frame-by-frame as I struggled to follow along. Would be really helpful if the pace was much slower, even at the cost of the video being much longer - if possible. Thanks!🙂🙌🏾
I tried to recreate this using the new Redshift nodes but the C4D Vertex Map Node is not available in the new node paradigm, so I needed to use the legacy nodes like you did.
@@mrtnstien I found the solution. ctrl+e to go to cinema 4D settings, then go to render, redshift and untick "node materials for presets" this will make the node editor interface the old one and there are the missing nodes
amazing workflow specially the way u explain in detail and take passionate style to explain materials...i tried to make same feel but was unable to achive the curvature map settings was it due to the sizing of objects maybe...any ways the project scene i tried to search but could not find in gumroad do u have link thnks again for the wonderful work. love yr glass work and terrians
Amazing video and lovely workflow but i find its too fast to actually follow along! Id love to create something similar but can never manage to follow along productively as its going too quickly
@@joacim.w yeah im aware of the feature but then you lose what he’s acc saying essentially, although i appreciate the insight and form factor these videos are in i know id really appreciate if it was slowed down a touch and not ran through as quickly. Might just be me though 🤷🏽♂️
Well, awesome as always I wish you could slow down the video a little bit. 1x is pretty fast to me, but 0.75x is so slowww and hard to listen to your voice LOL
Ross, quick one - for the first vase material, the new node editor doesn't seem to have the C4D vertex map as a node. I've done this using the old shader graph, but any ideas how to get this effect using the new one?
Controlling the ramp with a Vertex map and fields is pure genius! Amazing tutorial Ross
Watched this on Sunday with some chilling music. Best feeling ever.
Atom Array and the window trick! 😱😱
worn edges with that "plates" is a clever trick, Ross!
the distressed effect on the edges of the bowl are 100% win - thanks again for all the knowledge & workflows!!!

Cool ceramics. Thank you!
Thank you for this, transitioning from Octane to Redshift and your videos are a blessing, helped tremendously!
Cool ceramics Indeed...
that field technique is wild Ross
Thank you for the tip! Hope to see more.
This video is a complete masterclass! Thanks for such a dynamic and smooth explanation. Love your work
Looooooooove this one! Thank you so much !!!
Those are some cool ceramics. Thanks for the very comprehensive information!
Ross, maybe your best tutorial yet; congratulations and thank you.
Those are some cool ceramics dudeeeee! Congratz buddy, great tut :)

I think is the Vertex Attribute
Those are some cool ceramics! 😍😍
You did it again, that create outline part is something I wish I had known sooner
Great ceramics !😀
Have you turn on the GI?
I am using Redshift 2.6 and the Sun sky rig looks dark by default.
Amazing Skills. Thank you
You are killing it sir
Those are some cool ceramics, NICE JOB!
Those are some cool ceramics!! haha awesome!!
No words...Amazing!
Cute tut! Thank you!
Excellent tutorial mate, but I have a problem, I can't find the C4D Vertex Map node inside redshift.
Could you tell me which version do you use?
Same problem here

@@chomparjujuy Ah excellent, very helpful. Many thanks for sharing!!
@@chomparjujuy luv u! had the same problem and hate the new node material editor
excellente and straight to the point. love it!
Sound effects are great :)
Great video, cool ceramics indeed! X

Love your videos Ross. Keep it up!
Wow dude, this is amazing!
You really inspire me! Sheeeeeeshhh
Sooo cool, Thanks match
You rock ross!!

Check out the settings/cogwheel-icon. You can set playback speed down to 0.25

How did you make folder (with colors) in the outliner ?

i have managed to address this using new material node editor just send me ur link i shall share u screenshot for new node wires
"THOSE ARE SOME COOL CERAMICS"
lol
bro is speedrunning c4d
Jesus, I am watching this on 0.25x speed and still need to play back dozens of times. Man, please make it a bit slower. Great tutorial though
the end result is not that amazing but the tutorial is. Thanks a lot.
0:31 Shueeeeeeeeeeee 🙄🤣😂😍
without the tricks and tips in the first two minutes, I would have used 20 min on that little part lol
