It might be the brand of clay that you are using. Sometimes clay also cracks when it dries too fast. You could try placing a damp paper towel over ur finished project and that might help it dry slower. But if that doesn’t work it might really just be the brand of clay

Thank you! Slip is clay watered down with water to make a paste like consistency. You can make slip with any clay that you are currently using. 😊
