Thanks so much for this, I was gifted some air dry clay and was looking for ideas beyond the fairy houses I usually do lol. I made my mom the mushroom incense holder and she absolutely loves it!

Well Done. I cheated and bought the ceramic house and candy shop at Micheal’s and painted and decorated with paint pen and puff paint. I made a little village with candy cane lights and glitter trees with coloured sprinkles and some gingerbread man accessories. It was a fun project. Look forward to seeing more of what you do. I came to this video from your first one searching for comparisons of Air Dry clays. Both were so helpful and you cover so many aspects of the clays. Well done. I do wish you had tested the first other clays with the mold too as you did on this one. Do you think you could do a follow up new video putting those other clays to the mold tests? I mostly use molds so it would be very helpful. Thank you. Maybe you could do a special video with only all the mold tests, using the footage from this one and adding the other new tests. I think that would be a great video for those of us who use molds. Specially if you added the test of letting the clay dry overnight or several hours INSIDE the mold. I usually do that, i let it dry inside so that I get all the details and its easier to pull out. Oh and also may I ask why you do not use a wooden roller pin as I have seen other use? Does it stick more than a glass bottle?

Hi. I see you have a clay pot in the end of your vid that has the natural look. How do you finish air dry clay that you want to maintain a more 'natural clay' look? I tried some matte sealants, acrylic mostly, and they still leave a bit of a low sheen to me, which is not desired when I want my clay to have that authentic/ earthenware/fired clay non-glazed look. When I just paint them to attain that, with no sealant, they paint always gets a chip or two fairly easily.

I had never seen someone use hot glue with air dry clay. I guess it works. You did great! Your house is more beautifulthan the one it was inspired by.

Finally started doing this! instead of painting them though I used the terracotta colored clay instead and mixed in some white so it wasnt so dark
