A little about me:
I am James McBurnett. I live in the great state of Texas. Probably not where you would think, but I am located in the panhandle region. I moved here from Alabama and work as a Chemical Engineer in the area. After being here for a few years, I decided to get back to my roots as a fisherman. It is quite challenging in my area to find a body of water to fish. The closest lake to me is about 40 miles away.
After a couple more years, I realized how much I love fishing and wanted to share it with the world. Clearwater fishing was born. I wanted to teach people all about fishing. This includes rods, reels, fishing line, bait, lures, largemouth bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, bluegill, boats, boat trailers, outboards, and anything else related to fishing.
I also wanted to share my fishing experiences as well. To be entertaining, knowledgeable, comical, and FUN. This channel was created out of the love of the sport of fishing, and I plan to keep making content that represents that. Thank you for watching this video and reading a bit about me. Give me a shout out in the comments below and let me know you read this. Now get out there and go catch you some fish.

What transducer do you need?
I needed one a while back but I sold it.
I need in for a solix g3
I've had the helix 7 for a year now and after trying every setting I could and not seeing any fish on the side imaging I just purchased the XHS 9 HDSI 180 Transducer and boom, fish everywhere,
Was wondering if you’ve used any airmar ducers?
Trying to figure out if I want a helix 12 or solix 10or12 any advice ? And was thinking I would run the diver that comes with the unit , but in addition getting tm165 hw from airmar , wondering what you think ? I don’t bass fish but hit Great Lakes and some rivers so I’m all over the place not fishing one specific body of water. Hoping for imput
I'm having a hard time finding some info. I have the helix 15 SI+ MODEL and want to use a "Y" cable to run both the MEGA live imaging transducer and the MEGA 360 transducer.
Is this possible? If so, will both be able to function at the same time in split screen mode?
Thanks.
Oh, it's the G4 unit as well.
Lol it’s as if you heard me yesterday!
Maybe I did?! Lol what are you looking for?
@@clearwaterfishing i finally installed my helix 10 and while I was installing the transducer I began wondering what types of transducers are compatible with my unit. I’d like to use my hummingbird to go offshore at least to around 100ft-200ft. So I went off looking at forums online and videos on UA-cam.
I actually decided on this unit after watching one of your videos also.
I still may need to update the head unit and possibly adjust my transducer.
@@csalinas-sf6jg Good deal! I am glad I was able to help.
