I love your teaching style. Thank you for showing real time your process. I have been going crazy with getting letters right. I noticed that you didn’t mirror your project. I took notes so when I get home I’ll be able to try your method. I really want to make words but they don’t always work right. I’m a beginning newbie when it comes to Cricut.

i noticed you didnt use a cutting mat for the Cricut. When would you need to use one? I thought the machine always needs a mat? I just bought my first Cricut and im worried about not having the right layers when cutting materials
The Maker 3 and Explore 3 can cut Smart materials matless! All other times you should use a mat!
I feel like there is a lot of wasted material with this. Can you not cut the name and circles separately to save more of the vinyl?
You totally could, it would just take a bit more time to place! We wanted to show folks here how to use transfer tape so decided to demonstrate how you can take it straight from Design Space right to your blank. Individually placing each letter and dot could be an option to if you prefer, but will take a bit longer!

Okay I listen to this video I watched you on design space and then when you take away the blue paper you scan over it make it dark and you go to the right-hand bottom corner. but you didn't show what button you push, was it weld or attach or what, new people need to know what you did just a suggestion and also I would not use white vinyl trying to show on a video because you can't see it but thank you for your effort

Can you do all the Cricut explore items on the Cricut Maker 3 as well?

I'm fairly new and I'm wondering if I have a Cricut Maker can I put the vinyl in without using a mat?
Hi Jacke! Matless cutting is only available on the 3rd generation machine with Cricut Smart Materials!
As someone who thought smart vinyl could only be used with the maker 3, I can tell you all that is FALSE! Smart vinyl can be used without mat on the maker and I love it! What i dont love is the fact that many cricut users will say it cant smh and you dont need the roll feeder.

We used white Smart Vinyl for this!
Can you do this one glass
You could definitely put the sticker on glass!
Next time please use black (or any color besides white) vinyl so we can see each step better.

My Cricut transfer tape leaves glue residue always on vinyl?!? Anybody knows how to stop that?! It even leaves it behind on surfaces like glass or paper.
I hate the name brand tape. I use stuff off Amazon and it’s cheaper and works way better

You can definitely make vinyl stickers with your Explore Air 2

Can you only use the smart sticker vinyl with the Cricuit Explore 3 or can you use it with the other Cricuit Machines? Also where did you get the Polka Dots design at or did you design it yourself?
You can use it with other machines if you use a mat! It can only be used matless on the 3rd generation machines. We design it ourselves just with circles in Design Space!

Smart materials.
I think you skipped a step before "Make It" and nobody thought to use a contrasting color?
We liked the look of these color choices but you can totally customize your own however you like! :)

I was thinking of somebody new to vinyl who might have benefitted from being able to clearly see the weeding process and better understand how not every polka dot does exactly what you would like it to do.
I was also curious how you were able to print that project without "attaching" everything to the page/canvas. My Maker will jam everything to the top to save material.
