Welcome to the first episode in my 2018 Christmas Craft series.
Gotta love Pound Land and Dollar Tree, (for us Americans). BEST and most cost-effective DIY stores ever! Also, these make lovely gifts for folks with newborns. ONE drop of lavender EO, then microwave the snowman for about 3o seconds or until it's roughly body temperature, then tuck him in with the wee one for extra warmth and soothing scent. My great-grandmother taught me this, though she didn't make the cute snowmen, just a sock full of rice warmed up to body temp helps with colicky babies!
I absolutely love these snowmen. They are so sweet looking. You do such a great job explaining how to make them. I am definitely going to make these for Christmas. Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to see your next video.
Hi Becky these snowmen are very cute, thanks for sharing.
Best wishes
Jujue
Hello Becky, I just love your snowmen. Thank you for sharing!
Boy for my grandson and girl for his twin sister. Absolutely adorable.
Oh wow nice idea 💡 👍👍👍 people would be grateful to have this in their homes ❤️
These are so cute and simple to make! The children in my nursery will love making these to take home to their family 😊 thank you for sharing xxx
This is my 1st time watching your channel.
That is a great idea to scent the rice. Thanks for sharing this information w/us. Love your lil snowmen
Thanks for watching
Fantastic video. You are very clear so the directions are easy to follow. Thank you so much.🎅
These sock snowpeeps are way too sweet! Shops are going to wonder why there's a sudden rush on white socks, lol!! I can't wait for your next fab idea xx
I know this is 2 years late, but I want to mention that rubber bands become brittle over time and break. Using something like twine or yarn is a more stable and lasting item to use.
It’s not often I attempt things but your step by step clear instructions tempted me and I made 3 of them (my partner, my toddler and myself) to decorate her nursery for Christmas and I love how they turned out, so thank you for this tutorial and I look forward to the rest of your series! Xx
That's fantastic! X
Yeah Christmas crafts whoop whoop! Thanks Becky xxxxx Jean Newport South Wales
My first time seeing your video and I love it ! Love the simplicity of all and you explain it so well easy to understand and make ! PLEASE! Make more holiday videos and thank you so so much for sharing ❤️❤️❤️☃️🙏👏👍
So appreciate your work surface not being white.❤️🌞
Adorable!
Great idea! ... bet Christmas smells would be awesome in them like cinnamon, orange and gingerbread 😊
Yes that would be fab x
Love that idea of the cinnamon and even vanilla!
Loved watching this video. Great idea. Something to do with the grandchildren over half term.
I love these I'm going to help my 13 year old make some to give as door stops to her friends as xmas gifts X
They turned out so precious! Love them.
This is my next project and.hubby wont miss a few.pairs of.socks surely 😁
:-) haha
Hi Becky, I made some of these for work friends and they loved them. I didn’t think to make them scented, what a clever idea.
Thank you for this idea Becky! Just one thing: I might be wrong but I think the texture of the inside of the sock would make the Snowman more snowy, so to speak. Not sure, I can't see the texture very well to be honest. I'll definitely try this! 😊 Thanks again!
I love your accent. 😊 You make yours just the way I do.
Those are so cute Becky. I just love love love your intro. Let the season begin.
exciting times x
Those are so adorable...
They are adorable!
Love the intro 🎅 wicked snowman my Grandaughter will love making this ⛄
That was so useful, thank you. I have been practicing with sock gnomes but I left the toe on the sock when I dressed him, it's underneath anyway and there's no worry about fraying.....now for some snowmen!
They are fun to make aren't they :-)
Beckys craftsandgoodies , I need to get a supply of the white elastic bands ASAP! Also, I put the rice in a jug and pull the sock over the rim then turn it upside down ..so far no mess
What a wonderful twist on the snowman idea!
FINALLY!!! someone using a glass to fill the sock with rice.
Wow I'm in love with these little guys...can't wait to get to Poundland xx
Definitely going to be doing some of these, I love them, thanks for sharing, I always watch your videos, better get sock shopping lol x
My mum does a craft club at the school and I think this would be a lovely idea for them to make. Only issue would be the hot glue, the young kids wouldn't be allowed to use that.
Try some fabric glue that may work well and safer x
How adorable are these?! OMG I will be making these Becky. Thank you xx
I love these. I'm gonna make a couple. Thanks for sharing. I love snowmen ☃
Good video. They are so cute. I want to go to the Dollar Tree now! So I have an idea...if you have no other use of the scraps you don't use (heel), what about using that to stuff another snowman? Like in the middle of the rice where it wouldn't show through? I think I might see how that works. Thank you for the video.
Awesome ❤️ The snowman (Tina)
Those are just precious.
Great first Christmas tutorial. Will make some of these. Not been watching videos lately as been decluttering/sorting my craft stash . Pauline.

Soooo gorgeous, love them Becky
Wonderful, I'm wondering if it would work to do the hat differently- cut it down, stick the opening closed and cover with a little pom-pom to make a bobble hat. :)
oh that would be fab, let me know if you give it a try.
great vlog Becky so cute will be trying this
Thank you so much for this video!!! I’m a teacher and I’m always looking for new ideas for my class to make lovely things that we can sell at our Christmas fair -this is perfect!!! Would you say it’s heavy enough to be a door stop? 🎄🎄
I think it may do, use a mans sock and fill it well with the rice and it should work x
Wow...what a great idea x
