Because everyone has been covering this, raylee should have an easy defamation case (if she can get the screen recordings and such). Especially with that mess of a contract! Like last minute of 6 months?? Let's be frfr
all i will say is that judging from the text messages of her shipping the dress she definitely seems like she’s panicking and trying to win some time to fix it a little cause i bet the dress was even in a worse state than how the bride received it…
lol I’m confused she said she would’ve just fixed the dress if the girl asked her to but literally a few minutes before said the girl asked her to fix it and she declined because the dress hadn’t been paid This is so sleazy
This story makes me want to suggest this for any costume made item, clothes, furniture, whater. 1) film an Unboxing 2) keep your receipts. Screenshot, email, paper whatever 3) Same with the contract/term of service. If the delivery date is there, save it. Especially if its for a "once in a lifetime event" item
I mean it's customary to do that where I live for mail insurance. So if something arrives broken you can get a full refund on it and rebuy it. Without added costs or a loss. So if you did buy a one of a kind handmade thing, you can actually pay the artist for the materials again. And pay the shipping again, without a loss.
The audacity to say "The customer denied MY RIGHT to come to her house and pick it up!" Her whole GoFundMe is manipulation. The dressmaker did NOTHING in "good faith." On top of acting like her crappy custom-made dresses are a benefit to the Alanta community.... It's giving delusional.
Who puts a custom made dress on a model that’s different body type? What good business owner posts a customers info and starts a go fund me to cover the cost of employees she’s responsible for paying? This is a terrible business model. Not only that, no business owner that takes their business seriously would ship something without full payment. She seriously shipped the dress 48 hours before the wedding and expected her to respond. And yes, the whole shipping thing is ridiculous.
They need to go out of business so they can never do this again. Imagine the audacity of sending that monstrosity to a customer that paid you 6k for it... then ruining her wedding sending an angry TikTok mob after her because she didnt want to deal with you THE DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING as you show up at her house. This situation is insane and I feel so bad for that poor girl, weddings are SO stressful, my own went fairly smooth and it still felt disastrous so I cant imagine scrambling to find a whole new dress 2 days before knowing you will not be able to wear your dream dress and have to settle for whatever is on the rack. Truly heartbreaking honestly.
I knew this was bad and that the dress looked pretty rough when i first saw something about it browsing UA-cam on my phone. Tonight I'm watching this video on my TV and HOLY MOTHER OF GOD why does it look like something i would've made with tacky glue and plastic gems for my Barbie in second or third grade? I don't understand. The photos of the dress on the model HAVE to be heavily edited because theres no other way that's the same dress the bride is wearing 🧐🧐🧐 this isn't even feasible as like, a talented seamstress rushing to meet a tight deadline...this is like the other bridal gown company, someone decided to learn how to sew to open a bridal boutique. Absolute insanity 🤦♀️
I'm calling it now, she rents dresses and poses as an independent boutique and sends the Light in the Box version she actually purchases and sends to client's. She's still making a profit either way. Then her socials are just stolen connent and clients navigating on good faith. Her entire business is a giant game of bluff, but I'm seeing significantly less receipts from Casze
Omg!! This poor bride!! I would have lost my mind! I'd have been like please come to my house to pick up this monstrosity, PLEASE. Cause we are going to throw hands!!! 🤬 I got stressed just listening to this! I hope she still enjoyed her special day ❤
She admitted to shipping the dress on good faith after receiving money for a deposit. How is that stealing 😅 that would be laughed at in court and no one would take a police report for that. Also, why does she ask for deposits then full payment later? Usually people ask for deposits to start and full after the item/service is completed and the agreed upon item isn’t what she got soooooo
When you're shipping it out and you ask for a signature, the only way they will get their item is if they sign for it. That's what I think she means by that. I got scammed and I mailed stuff out, but I asked for a signature and the people never signed for it. So I got my dresses back. I know in the US, you could ask for a signature, but you have to do it when you’re shipping it out. You can’t go after the fact.
She should have asked for reimbursement for flying to Miami from Colorado for an appt that was cancelled, horrible business practices from beginning to end from this company
Why does she keep mentioning that she is a black small business owner? Genuinely curious does race matter in business? These type of people make other black businesswomen look bad.
Yeah I don't get why they gotta add race. Like I buy stuff from small businesses sometimes cause I like what they make. Doesn't matter where they're from as long as they speak one of the languages I speak so the exchange goes well. I want the pretty thing, not the political drama in the world.
That “dressmaker” shouldn’t be in business at all. She clearly can’t behave professionally in any way. Sew dresses on your spare time for friends and family if you absolutely want to, but NOT as a business. Also, why add “black owned”? What does that add other than more segregation? Should I as a white woman label mine as white owned? I thought we were past that kind of racism.
So you can require a signature for something and have it shipped to a location (like a post office) and someone have to come pick it up, but you can’t really call half way through shipping and be like “yo I changed my mind” nor can you say “hey hold it EVEN IF THEY COME TO PICK IT UP so I can tell you if I got my money” because that’s on you to handle BEFORE shipping
Okay first of all I worked in a brand that also makes custom wedding dresses 1. It doesn’t take that long if you know what you’re doing 2. There’s at least 3 fittings for any gown that’s even a little bit fitted or custom 3. If a customer wants updates or anything of the sort the brand provides it no matter what 4. It was a bigger brand but they had a timeline of 45 working days which is a little over 2 months, and at any given moment only 2 people were working on any dress and as a fashion design student to take 6 months and not even doing a good job is insane. And let’s say she had many many orders and was super busy, why take on the additional order if you’re unable to do it?? The whole thing is wild
It’s the fact that she didn’t send the dress to her until two days before for me. That’s all it took for me to think she was the messy one. You clearly had to rush and you’re flipping out over not receiving payment for one day???? One day??? Like give her time to try it on damn. Also who conducts business this way? You think customers are going to want to work with you if you’re this unprofessional about customer service matters? It’s all just a yikes
My mom bought her wedding dress before she even met my dad, and I bought mine 2 years before I was even engaged to my now husband because a situation like this was literally my biggest nightmare 😫 Of course I’m not blaming the bride, she did everything right… But dear Lord I can’t imagine how stressed and anxious she must have felt (plus, I’m pretty sure she had to settle for a dress that wasn’t her “dream dress” and that’s just heartbreaking)
the amount of shame some people lack, it tracks i have to live with surplus of it. the distribution office is all fucked up, the nerve too?? allocated faultily.
A big chunk of the balance would have been profit. If you aren't making that much profit from each dress then you need to look at your business model and make some adjustments.
But like flying to where this bride lives and back and hiring an attorney is costing you even more money. You're complaining about the money, but spending more than your owed to try and get it back, doesn't make sense. At this point, write it off as a loss and stop dragging this bride with just your one side of the story. Which, as many people have said, does not make sense. All this lady is going to do in the end is end up ruining her business.
I have no sympathy for the people who _harassed_ this poor bride before they got the other side of the story. You would think people would learn. They never learn.
You can create a tracking number and not send the package right away. Definitely a sketchy business move to say you dropped it off when all you did was create the label…
here is my thing, it didn't cost anywhere near $10,000 to make. So her saying it is a big loss as if it costs a lot to produce is a flat lie. You are paying for the labor of the item, not the materials.
I’m going to wake up every morning from this moment on and thank the universe that I don’t have someone like this “dress maker” in my life. I cannot imagine how horrible of an experience this would be for Raylee.. the dress being an inadequate joke is already HORRIBLE to deal with days before the wedding. Then you have this crazy woman spamming you, literally flying out to find you in person, blasting you and your family on social media etc. Woooow, just.. WOW. ALSO- It’s literally scary that this crazy lady truly and genuinely believes whole heartedly that she’s in the right. She actually feels that her behaviour is reasonable. 😅
Yeah, sadly I'm guessing the dressmaker underestimated how much work goes into a handmade bespoke bridal gown. I made my own wedding dress and it was fantastic, in the end, but I had to pare down my design a bit (unrealistic embroidery goals w/the time I had). I hand embroidered everything (dress & veil) & hand stitched all crystals & embellishments (even roping my mom in for help at the last minute bc I still underestimated how much time was needed) and it took me a year (hand-stitching like mad around being a mom and student) and countless fittings. But, it only cost me ~$300 (mostly for the solid gold, pearl, rose quartz, and swarovski crystal beads). I am sure it is easier for someone who does it full time as a job, but it is still very hard to do by hand. And E6000 should not be part of the equation for those prices-- it's mostly time & skill you are paying for with bespoke dressmakers. I feel bad for the bride now dealing with the fallout; I'm sure the stress of the wedding was over the top as was.
Yup that's normal, I've seen allot of costumers take 50% up front to mostly pay for materials, some of those beaded laces are both expensive and special ordered
Nah, imo, she just wants the dress for herself period. She has videos of herself wearing the dress. The fit of the dress is soooooo much better on her than Raylee. The cups issue is fixed by her being much more well endowed (no knock on Raylee, but the dress was clearly not designed with her measurements). If you don’t have the right dress form or the ability to make the right dress form, you shouldn’t be offering customs. And you shouldn’t give the option of a 2 in 1 if you have no idea how to make a 2 in 1, because the skirt still looks extremely lopsided even on her. If she wanted the dress, she could have made herself her own version of the dress…AFTER making Raylee’s dress PROPERLY.
The dress looked like the temu version of what it’s meant to!! 😂 that poor bride but please buy off a reputable company only since it’s such an important item.
This is so insane!! Imagine you're getting married and some psycho keeps messaging and calling....girl should have called the cops for stalking and let them handle it
As someone who makes clothes (mainly kids clothes but still) if I mucked up that badly I would scrap it. People who said that the girl who bought the dress purposely botched it herself. A lot of the mistakes the dress maker made are ones that you can easily make while making dresses if you're inexperienced but they're also really hard to do once the garment is finished. Also why would the bride ruin a dress she wanted to wear? I do not sell the clothes I make but I have made clothes for my family's kids and if they ever said I messed up an item so badly it was unwearable I would be devastated. I think the dressmaker knew that the dress was absolute shite but she let her ego get the better of her. I also think she took on a job she knew she wouldn't be able to do. It's like how different tattoo artists do different styles of tattoos and you have to go to one who specialises In the style of tattoo you like, the same goes for dress makers because dressmakers will learn how to do certain styles of dresses and not be confident with others.
I was on tiktok when I saw it I found the dress designer story weird I saw a comment about her making a go fund me I wait her the bride side of the story. So yeah I'm glad the bride spoke up
I am coming into the story late, but I wanted to comment so that when or if the event that this saga goes on. What I have to say will help clarify normal business, or good business. A deposit is usually figured to cover the materials. Using her numbers of 60% down sounds about right. This should be explained and they should come to a happy medium. My heart goes out to the bride.
The designer is a SCAMMER that can’t get a real job and work like everyone else and now wants other people to just give her money. This is the most insane thing ever. The girl paid 60% and the girl didn’t even wear the dress. And if you can’t pay your employees and rent because of 1 dress then maybe this girl needs to get off the drugs and get a real job
@@hollybrooke322 I know but the dress owner said it's the exact same dress so I just don't understand why she is saying that but also saying she never got it back. I mean I know she's lying about all of it but does she not see how that doesn't make sense lol
There are other obvious lies in there as well...the original dress was actually around $6,000 and not $10,000. And the client paid 60% as a down payment.
I think the reason she wanted the dress back was because she didn’t want the client to take the pictures to show everyone online what the dress actually looked like. She was covering her tracks so that she looked like the victim. I also think that she knew fine well the dress was terrible!! Instead of waiting to go on the defence, she jumped on the offensive (knowing bride would be busy)and that’s why she jumped to social media straight away….not saying she is very bright but she is cunning and gross

I just got to this point and read this comment 😂 I was confused for a second xx
Because everyone has been covering this, raylee should have an easy defamation case (if she can get the screen recordings and such). Especially with that mess of a contract! Like last minute of 6 months?? Let's be frfr
This Cynderra lady is cruel. She knew she fked up so she gave Raylee more stress during her wedding day. Unbelievable...
Not everyone should have a business 😭😭
all i will say is that judging from the text messages of her shipping the dress she definitely seems like she’s panicking and trying to win some time to fix it a little cause i bet the dress was even in a worse state than how the bride received it…
lol I’m confused she said she would’ve just fixed the dress if the girl asked her to but literally a few minutes before said the girl asked her to fix it and she declined because the dress hadn’t been paid
This is so sleazy
The way she keeps saying “correspondence” is making me irrationally irate.
This story makes me want to suggest this for any costume made item, clothes, furniture, whater.
1) film an Unboxing
2) keep your receipts. Screenshot, email, paper whatever
3) Same with the contract/term of service.
This is the dress version of Pink Sauce 🤦🏻♀️
I'm calling it now, she rents dresses and poses as an independent boutique and sends the Light in the Box version she actually purchases and sends to client's. She's still making a profit either way.
Then her socials are just stolen connent and clients navigating on good faith.
Her entire business is a giant game of bluff, but I'm seeing significantly less receipts from Casze
Always sat even though I never know who these people are

So real😂😂
same
the dress lady straight up keeps contradicting herself
Omg!! This poor bride!! I would have lost my mind! I'd have been like please come to my house to pick up this monstrosity, PLEASE. Cause we are going to throw hands!!! 🤬 I got stressed just listening to this! I hope she still enjoyed her special day ❤
Am I the only one missing audio around 11:00?? Ps u look great today ❤
That dress is horrid! That 'designer ' is delusional
So you can require a signature for something and have it shipped to a location (like a post office) and someone have to come pick it up, but you can’t really call half way through shipping and be like “yo I changed my mind” nor can you say “hey hold it EVEN IF THEY COME TO PICK IT UP so I can tell you if I got my money” because that’s on you to handle BEFORE shipping
apparently she stole her sisters half of the company. and 3 other ladies have spoken out against her as well. AND she has tons of bad bbb reviews
that's actually a different company, it's a crazy coincidence that there's 2 big wedding dress dramas happening at the same time
Okay first of all
I worked in a brand that also makes custom wedding dresses
1. It doesn’t take that long if you know what you’re doing
2. There’s at least 3 fittings for any gown that’s even a little bit fitted or custom
3. If a customer wants updates or anything of the sort the brand provides it no matter what
Girl... That lady did Raylee SOOO dirty, that corset being so ill-fitting that its giving her that crazy looking back is so insane LMAO
"19 seconds ago" is wild
you’re so early 😭😭
I though my ‘13 mins ago’ was crazy 😭
Once I had 1s sgo😂
It is UNHINGED to FLY to someone’s home
It’s the fact that she didn’t send the dress to her until two days before for me. That’s all it took for me to think she was the messy one. You clearly had to rush and you’re flipping out over not receiving payment for one day???? One day??? Like give her time to try it on damn. Also who conducts business this way? You think customers are going to want to work with you if you’re this unprofessional about customer service matters? It’s all just a yikes
My mom bought her wedding dress before she even met my dad, and I bought mine 2 years before I was even engaged to my now husband because a situation like this was literally my biggest nightmare 😫
Of course I’m not blaming the bride, she did everything right… But dear Lord I can’t imagine how stressed and anxious she must have felt (plus, I’m pretty sure she had to settle for a dress that wasn’t her “dream dress” and that’s just heartbreaking)
the casual 'she has me blocked' 😭
The dress was only like $6k ! So, that GFM is WILD! It’s 2x the amount of the original price of the dress.
In addition to the lawsuit for the 6k deposit, because the dress maker intentionally posted lies on social media, she also has a defamation claim.
the amount of shame some people lack, it tracks i have to live with surplus of it. the distribution office is all fucked up, the nerve too?? allocated faultily.
I just can’t get over the business owner calling her work ‘couture’ and wherever she makes this crap an ‘atelier’ 💀 *the delusion*
A big chunk of the balance would have been profit. If you aren't making that much profit from each dress then you need to look at your business model and make some adjustments.
Slayyyyy queen with all the uploads this week. We are spoiled ❤

Girl I was not about to watch that 9 minute tiktok 🙏 ty for ur sacrifice
I’m going to wake up every morning from this moment on and thank the universe that I don’t have someone like this “dress maker” in my life. I cannot imagine how horrible of an experience this would be for Raylee.. the dress being an inadequate joke is already HORRIBLE to deal with days before the wedding. Then you have this crazy woman spamming you, literally flying out to find you in person, blasting you and your family on social media etc. Woooow, just.. WOW.
ALSO-
It’s literally scary that this crazy lady truly and genuinely believes whole heartedly that she’s in the right. She actually feels that her behaviour is reasonable. 😅
If she’s right she needs to take her to court … as they say put up or shut up
Yeah, sadly I'm guessing the dressmaker underestimated how much work goes into a handmade bespoke bridal gown.
I always thought a downpayment was to cover the time and/or materials in case you cancel. Ect. Hairdresser, tattoooartist, baker??
Yup that's normal, I've seen allot of costumers take 50% up front to mostly pay for materials, some of those beaded laces are both expensive and special ordered
i have a feeling she wanted the dress back so badly so she could post pictures of it lmao
Well okay. Is she gonna give the money back if she gets the dress back? I feel like this wasn’t addressed near enough by either
7:15 FedEx and UPS work differently than government funded stuff. Private corporations can do a lot.
Man im convinced there is drama for everything we had cake drama, makeup and now dresses I’m ready for this video🍿🍿
Don't forget the book drama that happened! 😅
The dress looked like the temu version of what it’s meant to!! 😂 that poor bride but please buy off a reputable company only since it’s such an important item.
a nice long Angelika video to entertain me at work?? yes please 💖
eta: you have a really soothing/asmr voice!!
This is so insane!! Imagine you're getting married and some psycho keeps messaging and calling....girl should have called the cops for stalking and let them handle it
The final dress shouldn't have to have any alterations, that's what the fitting is for... she knows she's a scammer😮
I am 1000000% here for these longer videos
I think she was counting on getting more customers so upped her prices up. Sadly for her, the receipts are making her look even worse.
so there are two wedding dress dramas right now?! This is wild!
Saying she can’t pay her staff or bills because one product got messed up is?? If that’s the case which is bad business then take full payment?!
Maybe this gets answered later on but I'm confused how the bride "stole the dress" if the lady has the dress to pose in.
Because it’s not the same dress. They look nothing a like.
@@hollybrooke322 I know but the dress owner said it's the exact same dress so I just don't understand why she is saying that but also saying she never got it back. I mean I know she's lying about all of it but does she not see how that doesn't make sense lol
Getting married next month and this is a LITERAL NIGHTMARE 😮
There are other obvious lies in there as well...the original dress was actually around $6,000 and not $10,000. And the client paid 60% as a down payment.
I think the reason she wanted the dress back was because she didn’t want the client to take the pictures to show everyone online what the dress actually looked like. She was covering her tracks so that she looked like the victim. I also think that she knew fine well the dress was terrible!! Instead of waiting to go on the defence, she jumped on the offensive (knowing bride would be busy)and that’s why she jumped to social media straight away….not saying she is very bright but she is cunning and gross
your makeup looks lovely today, very warm and put together
What business sends something that isn't paid for...... none
7:24 Nope, not even in the US can someone ship like that, no holding it at a postal location during transit. You have to wait for it to be delivered.
I would’ve noped out after seeing that the rhinestones and pearls were glued on 😨
If she put a “hold” on it till payment HOW was the dress picked up? The lies just keep spewing out of her mouth
I saw all of this start to play out and was hopping that you would cover this. It's crazy !!
10:56 dunno if it’s on purpose but this part is silent. I thought I was tweaking for a sec 😅
I doubt it’ll be on purpose she probably muted herself while the video plays and forgot to put the audio back in when she spoke, but I thought it was just my youtube glitching until I saw this comment so thank you 😂
The mere fact that she doesn't show her face is a red flag
