Very easy to follow instructions for beginners. And I appreciate that you not only used crochet terminology, but you also simplified your explanations for each step. Thanks!
As the aging process has come upon me, I have had to find new things to do. Your instructions with this video have helped me to fill my time, and my heart. Once again, I am able to make things for people, and for that I thank you.d I appreciate your time, effort and the sharing of your knowledge. You made it easy!
Thank you for your patience in showing the level of detail in this video. I am a complete beginner at crochet and find it difficult to follow along when people skip steps or just assume that crocheters know all the steps. This has been very helpful and makes me feel confident that I can complete this project as it is coming along nicely. Thank you for making this video and keep up the great work!
Thank you for this wonderful headband and showing us how to do it all. Your verbal instruction helped me get it. I haven't crochet in 40 years and now that I retired, decided to give it a try again. Made this for my 21-year-old granddaughter and she loves it, wants me to make her one in every color ( :) so I'm going to teach her how to make them). I used winter white 4 medium yarn and 5.0 hook and a 2" pearl cluster button. Not only warm but dressy.
Love your videos! I just started crocheting 2 days ago and because of your videos it's been a success, and I'm now addicted ! Thank you for your awesome videos!
Just finished my 1st headband, What a great video. I love the way you take the time to explain every inch of the project. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi... Thank you so much for walking me through this project step by step, with patience. Because of that I made my very first crochet product. Though there are few mistakes here and there, the end result was very satisfying. My husband and cousins appreciated my work. So I am like in cloud nine now. I know I have a lot to learn. So looking forward to more videos. Thank you once again.
This is for BHooked. I enjoyed this video.ever so much. Iam an intermediate crocheted. So ,I'm not a pro. I had to redo & stop the video. I have my project half done. But,I wanted to stop & tell u how much I liked ur video. U r an excellent teacher. Keep up the good work. Thank you. Lily Baker
I just finished making this for a gift and it came out beautiful!! Thank you for being such a great teacher!! I'll be making more of these for Christmas gifts!!
I came across this page today...I " Liked and Subscribed " so I can come back here often and hang out with you... I made this last year... several of them and gave them all as gifts... This is a wonderful pattern... Sending you blessings... Thank you for sharing your talent : )
I just finished crocheting this head warmer and I'm exited about how it turned out. Thanks for the easy and precise instructions on this pattern. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for the way you explain how to crochet in this video. I was able to follow you with ease. I am using this pattern to make belly bands for my small male furbabies. They work perfect and they look so cute wrapped around my baby pom and special needs chihuahua.
this is an amazing step by step video and very easy to follow. I appreciated that greatly. however, after finishing, the headband was super tight, like it is sized for a kids head and I followed the tutorial step by step. I will certainly make this again, but I will incorporate more than 40 in the "body" of the headband. I'll have to experiment but I think 43-45 will be accommodating for an adult. I'll probably have to give this one to my 8 year old daughter. other than that, this video and the step by step instructions are amazing and was super easy to follow which I am grateful for immensely.
Excellent instruction, and I love the stitch / texture / and pattern. I am new to crocheting and really like the way you teach. Thank you so much for sharing...
thank you for explaining to the new crocheters whether you crochet into that very first stitch or not. It was one thing I was always confused about. Very nice tutorial.
Very cute headband. I crochet tightly and mine would fit a child. I will measure my head and adjust the rows accordingly. Thank you for the excellent video
Love this tutorial. I was able to follow along and begin. I, too, have not crocheted in years and have wanted to start back up again. This made it possible. Thanks!
Great video! Thanks! I used Bulky 5 yarn, 6.5mm hook and realized that I only had 49 yards of yarn - figured it would just be a practice project expecting to run out of yarn - I didn't! 8 inches to spare. Not a suggested approach, but I'm glad I didn't have to take it apart. :-)
I just want to say that this is one of the best tutorials I have ever had the pleasure of watching! Thank you so much for making it so easy to follow along, wish all tutorials were this wonderfully made. I made this headband so fast and it came out beautifully! Thank you again I am definitely a fan :-)
I love your videos, you always make them so easy to follow. I'm new to crochet but I'm a knitter so I understand increase and decrease. This would make a good second project for me, I'm currently working on a baby blanket
Just a note that in the written pattern it is written that row 8 is the last increase row, wich does end with 12sts and in this video you say that row 9 is the last increase row. I followed this video and it came out fine, but much smaller only because i used a standard yarn and not the same one that you used wich appears to ne much thicker. Absolutely love this pattern, you are such apatient instructor. Thank you.
I've subscribed to your channel a long time ago but just came across this video of yours. I love the look of the woven stitch. Something new I learned and the ear warmer looks beautiful. It was made with two colors combined. Thank you so much for your tutorials. You do beautiful work.
thanks for your videos! they have showed me how to do so many different kinds of stitches. Plus you go low enough for me to crochet along with you. Thanks again
Brittany, greetings from Cork, Ireland. I moved home a few weeks ago and just catching up on your tutorials. Love this, super idea and so easy to follow. love the new look intro etc. well done!
On my second one ! Thank you love this headband and I love how easy you explain! Going to make a bunch of them in differnt colors and buttons , im going to use a heavier yarn and see what happens on my next one thank you again! LOVE THIS
I'm not sure if its my tension, my yarn or my hook, but the last 3-4 of these that I made have all come out TOO small and very tight around a normal adult head. I am adding 3 rows in the woven section this time and using a J hook to try to fix my issue! I love this headband though and the tutorial is very clear and helpful!
OMG! I JUST FINISHED THIS TUTORIAL IN ONE GO! Sooooo easy and I Loved it so much!!But it's all thanks to you and your great explanation! ❤ Thank you so much! Just keep up the GREAT work! Love and Support aaaaaalll the way from MOROCCO! ❤
This was an easy tutorial to follow thank so much for making it interesting, I have not crocheted in many many years and I jumped right in and picked it back up, thanks again will continue to follow you.
wow I think you did very well on this video. I am a beinger. And this was done nicely. I've watched lost of videos and they all go a little fast. You had a nice speed for a beinger to keep up. I would have to pause the video or go back with other videos. thanks
Hi I am from Holland and realy like your tutorials Its helping me a lot to learn al kinds of different types of stitches Love this headband i am going to make it soon With love from Holland
hola recién te veo . no entiendo casi nada tu idioma, pero explicas tan bien, que solo mirando , he logrado hacer tu trabajo, gracias por compartir, saludos desde Antofagasta chile. espero que aun estes enseñando tus trabajos ,gracias
Loved the final product. I was able to complete in one sitting with added button & all :) the only thing I'd say was a downer was it being a bit wider than I liked it to be, I have a small head so I had to adjust based on where to place the button. Either way I'm on my 2nd one. TFS!
I like the way the person crochet with a single crochet and red color. I'm using different crochet hook also works. own style also works as anything else.
Hello. I noticed in the beginning of making the piece where the button goes, you went from row 7 to row 8 ( 8:00 ) . So you we were working on row 7 and once you finished you said “that’s it for row 8”( 8:54 ) and kind of through your row count off so you made 8 rows instead of 9. I kind of messed up once you got to the woven stitch but since I figured that out I got it! Hope i was help
Loved the tutorial, as always, you are the best! My only issue is that I ended up with a much smaller headband than I was expecting. Followed complete pattern, with appropriate yarn and hook size. Not sure why it turned out so small. Thanks for your lessons. Always a pleasure. :)
Thank you, Shelly, I'm glad you like it! I've had a few people come up with smaller headbands and I'm still scratching my head over it. Either way, I'm glad it turned out well for you!
Great tutorial. Lovely headband/ear-warmer. I LOVE that woven stitch--gives a nice texture. I will definitely be making this tomorrow. ...oh...and I also love your Charlie Brown-ish music, lol.
Hi Brittany, I love your tutorials. They are perfect for a new crocheter like me. Even though you work slowly I still find that I need written instructions. This has made me very frustrated because I have not been able to find the written pattern. You mention your blog and the description box but I don know where to find either. Hope you can help me. I have done lots of knitting but love crocheting and find It a nice change. All of my work is for charity.
This is great your tutorials are very easy to follow Brittany. Many thanks for sharing. I am going to give it a go and give this to my friend for xmas. :)
HI, Loved the video , you are very easy to follow. But can you tell me the finished length of the headband. Mine is not anywhere near large enough to fit an adult head. Also mine does not seem as nice and thick as yours. I used red heart super saver worsted yarn. 100% acrylic.
I really like how easy your instructions are to follow. I found that if I follow yours exactly, it is too small, but if I add extra rows before starting the decrease it fits much better! My question is, do you wear it button side up on top of the head or at the back underside?
Thank you so much Nancy! I'll be releasing a video for the beginner crochet series on reading patterns in the next couple of weeks. You may find that helpful as well!
Oh wow can't wait! I have always wanted to make a throw or a blanket what would you recommend? I can never get a straight edge when I turn so I never made a scarf or a blanket it frustrates me.
Oh wow can't wait! I have always wanted to make a throw or a blanket what would you recommend? I can never get a straight edge when I turn so I never made a scarf or a blanket it frustrates me.
That's great! I'd recommend making a blanket by crocheting squares and putting them together. It will work around your edge dilemma for now! Check it my scrapghan tutorial. It is a beautiful blanket that requires little experience. You can find it on my "crochet along" playlist!
Love all your video tutorials. Im crocheting this hairband right now. Since I'm using a yarn less bulky, can you tell me what's the aprox lenght of the one you crocheted in the video? Million thanks for teaching us.
My mother in law has requested I make her a head band/ear warmer. This is going to be perfect for her. Will use purple color because it is her favorite. Would any large circular button do? Thank you so much for the tutorial!
We must learn this at 8 year's old in Belgium... It's very beautiful mais croche est ne pas Pour moi.. Maar wij waren verplicht dit te doen op 8jarige leeftijd, ik heb er mijn buik vol van, geel handig als je veel tijd hebt
Well, it's so Pretty that I just went on ahead and started crocheting it anyway. I will try to guess about how short to make it to fit her head. She's 6, so do you think if I measure it by a hat size for a 6 year old little girl that it will measure out just fine? Thank you for your help/ advice.
Very easy to follow instructions for beginners. And I appreciate that you not only used crochet terminology, but you also simplified your explanations for each step. Thanks!

I just finished making this for a gift and it came out beautiful!! Thank you for being such a great teacher!! I'll be making more of these for Christmas gifts!!
Just finished mine today and I came out great! The only thing I did different was slip stitch the edges to give it a clean look.
Rosario Gomez
I also did the slip stitch and found I liked it better . Thanks for the suggestion .
I made one of these using soft super bulky yarn and a size 7mm hook. Came out great. Thanks for your great tutorial.
Just made this headband and love it. Will be making more. Video is very easy to follow and doesn't go to fast. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for the way you explain how to crochet in this video. I was able to follow you with ease. I am using this pattern to make belly bands for my small male furbabies. They work perfect and they look so cute wrapped around my baby pom and special needs chihuahua.
This is fantastic! Your examples and demo are so viewable/visible and your instructions so clear. The headband is adorable!! Thanks for this!

I have made several of these. They are so pretty! My customers love them!
This remains my favorite headband pattern to date!
Loved your tutorial. Very easy to follow. Fantastic teacher. Have not been crocheting too long.

This video helped me make a bunch of adorable Christmas presents. Thank you!!
You're very welcome, that's fantastic!

Thank you so much! That's a great idea, I'm sure they will be a hit!
Loved your video so easy to understand you I made my black with a white button
Great tutorial. Lovely headband/ear-warmer. I LOVE that woven stitch--gives a nice texture. I will definitely be making this tomorrow.
...oh...and I also love your Charlie Brown-ish music, lol.
:) Thank you! The woven stitch is a nice stitch to have in your "crochet toolbox". You can do so much with it!
Hi Brittany, I love your tutorials. They are perfect for a new crocheter like me. Even though you work slowly I still find that I need written instructions. Sou brasileira, gostei muito do seu trabalho, vou tentar fazer, parabéns!!!
This would make a cute wide belt too, what do ya think?
This is great your tutorials are very easy to follow Brittany. Many thanks for sharing. I am going to give it a go and give this to my friend for xmas. :)
Great video. Just finished my first one. Can't wait to make another in a different color. Thanks!
HI,
Loved the video , you are very easy to follow. But can you tell me the finished length of the headband. Mine is not anywhere near large enough to fit an adult head. Also mine does not seem as nice and thick as yours. I used red heart super saver worsted yarn. 100% acrylic.
Eu fiz,..Ficou lindo!
I really like how easy your instructions are to follow. I found that if I follow yours exactly, it is too small, but if I add extra rows before starting the decrease it fits much better! My question is, do you wear it button side up on top of the head or at the back underside?
Great pattern! It seems like there's no row 8..it goes from row 7 into row 9. Is this accurate?
You are very easy to follow!! Thank you so much! I tend to get lost easy and I'm trying to learning how to follow pattern.
I'm working on the headband I love the stitch so far I think it's coming out okay. 😊
That's great! I'd recommend making a blanket by crocheting squares and putting them together. It will work around your edge dilemma for now! Check it my scrapghan tutorial. It is a beautiful blanket that requires little experience. You can find it on my "crochet along" playlist!
Super fun and easy to do............................ I LOVE IT :)
Love all your video tutorials. Im crocheting this hairband right now. Since I'm using a yarn less bulky, can you tell me what's the aprox lenght of the one you crocheted in the video? Million thanks for teaching us.
