Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Corvette Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX. Buy one, if at all possible, life is short.
Is this under rated same base corvette rated 0 to 60 in only 4.2 seconds 0 to 60. With bigger engine and different t chassis only 4tenths is minimal. But I guess the top end is really the big difference. But just a bargain for base corvette owners who can modify there ls2.. wow
@@SRT92 kinda like the Bronco, who the hell knew they'd go up in price as soon as they did, some have sold for $100k, i would never buy one at that price..lol Rather build my 1984..
One of my favorite vettes ever.
I miss 2006
So do I! What a great year.
me too. so many different NA engines. manual transmissions galore
What a MONSTER! I have a base C6, but someday I will get one of these, my dream car.

Did you get it yet?

At 3100 pounds! Beast.
still a marvel of engineering
No it's a Chevy.
The front tires are 275's, NOT 235's.
285
fronts are 275/35/18 i own one
Just imagine, 505hp was the most powerful Vette on 12 years ago. Now it's 755😍😍
No the fastest 0-60 mph is a base corvette with less then 500 hp
@@devinespinoza5529 no it's not
2:56 "The interior is straight C6 with it's excellent fit and finish."... Hahahaha!!!
Chevy spokesman:” John we’ll pay you an extra $5,000.00 to say this......”
It was in 2006 lol
I am looking for one right now hope I can find one that’s not over priced and not modified
That’s the most gentle I’ve seen these clowns be with a shifter😂
american muscle good ol 7.0
No 1320 times !? 😱😲😧
Nice if we can find one in good condition

Any base Corvette owner wishes they had the LS7 instead, just ask them..
hsv 427 is half a second slower
Never liked the cut off rear end on these from the side view.
Best designed vette. After that, I was no longer interested.
SRT92 the C8 is especially ugly.
i agree too, Ford guy here..
@@benedictdonald4338 i like the C8, beast of a car, but this C6 Z06 was the last real Corvette..
@@P71ScrewHead yea hopefully just one day I can afford one, and they won’t climb into 70k range..they’re still 50-60 grand in good condition

Isn't a 427 a big block?
It was in the '60s. The LS7 is an all-aluminum small block.
Ryan Maiese nope...not in this case.
Bore spacing center to center is still 4.40 vs 4.84 for big blocks. As far as I know that’s always been the difference.
454 and bigger now days
👍🏾👍🏾
They go through heads like oil, not really a marvel. Typical GM.
Texas Speed heads Swap and you are unstoppable
Stop reading bs on the Ford forums. It makes you look like a fool.
its valve guides not the actual head
