Fun fact if you go to the museum in Chicago where Sue is at it will show you what bones is missing! And another fun fact the head in the museum isn’t the real head, her real head is on the second floor because it’s to heavy!!
AK is such a nice park to stroll through. I love going to just watch the animals. It has a very calming atmosphere. Awesome video. Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
Not sure if other commenters have said it, but I read at the Field Museum when I last visited that the holes in Sue's jaw were due to an infection that progressed enough to eat away at the bone, which likely became serious enough that it caused the dinosaur to starve to death due to causing lots of pain and difficulty when trying to eat
When I was a CM at Animal Kingdom years ago, they told us that one of the imagineers who worked on Dinoland was pregnant, and that's why you'll notice all the cartoony dinos there have cute little belly buttons! I love the Nemo show, but I'm a little sad about some of the things they omitted when they changed the show. There's no more jellyfish scene, and they took out the aerial stunts....Dory and Squirt used to fly!
The cheeseburger pods are legit #1 and are my must have any time I come to Orlando. Absolutely delicious and you don’t feel gross or weighed down like you had something super greasy after!
Tim! I was in Disney for my birthday in January and I took some photos with my disposable camera of those Dino billboards. They’re under appreciated. There’s so much history in animal kingdom so long as you know where to look.
Everyone else: Dinoland was just Eisner being cheap and not caring about putting in the effort and money into a fully themed part of the park. Tim: I think I would be okay with a few more dino themed flat rides.
Pretty sure Tim would add a caveat that it needs Disney-class theming. They definitely need more flat rides in the parks, but they have to be done with the world-class theming you'd expect from an Orlando theme park.
Love seeing Sue in Orlando! Im from Illinois and have vlogged the field museum a couple times. One of my daughters favorite dinosaur is the Quetzalcoatlus and she loves their life-size Quetzalcoatlus sculpts.
Dinosaur is my favourite AK ride, we always get the funniest photos of us jumping out of our skin at the dino, despite knowing it’s coming up every time 🤣
Tim I agree with you on the rides that shake and move you around. I was at Epcot on my Birthday last year and I wanted to ride Mission Space so I rode I rode it can’t ride those rides like I use to when I was younger. It’s a shame I loved riding those kinda rides too.
the finding nemo show is hands down the best live musical in orlando. i’m glad to see they kept the majority of the original storyline and songs in the reboot!
How neat! I never knew that about Donald’s Dino bash! Scrooge mcduck was the first ever Disney character I met. I hope the meet n greets return soon. Animal kingdom is my favourite Disney park. I could watch divine all day. Tim I have missed your ride noises!
Animal Kingdom has the best backstories in all of WDW! ❤️ Even the Dinosaur gift shop has more backstory to it than other (non-Disney) theme parks as a whole 😂
If you want some more impressive pterosaurs just look up the genus Arambourgiania. They had a wingspan of up to 43 feet and were about as tall as a giraffe! Crazy that they could still fly, they’re the largest species ever to do so.
Thank you for taking us to Animal Kingdom! Finding Nemo is my favorite in all of Disney World! I have been curious what the new show looked like; it looks amazing! I recognized the same Marlin and Nemo actors. We are from the west coast and we have to say that we enjoy Indiana Jones (similar ride) at Disneyland better than Dinosaur. If you had to choose between the two, which one do you like better?
Tim, I saw the Finding Nemo show in 2016 and yes, it really hits you in the feels!!! My daughter watched it constantly when she was 2 and I feel I can recite it in my sleep! LOL! Great show!!
Thank-you for showing Sue the dinosaur! My kinders and I read a book about Sue, the woman, who found Sue Hendrickson and her dog. I did a little more research and found out that Disney, Cal State and McDonald's bought Sue's bones at an auction. She was prepared at Disney's Animal Kingdom and one other site in the U.S. How cool is that? I was taking pictures of Sue last summer to show to my class I would have the next year, and I just wanted to stop people in the park and tell them all about Sue! So many people don't realize what they are walking past! Sue just got moved upstairs at the Field Museum to make space for another awesome dino.
One other fun fact! The Brachiosaurus that adorns the bridge into Dinoland is a replica of the Brachiosaurus that famously stood outside of the Field Museum up until early last month. Our brachiosaurus here at the Field came down last month due to irreparable damage thanks to the insane Chicago weather. 😢
DAK does have amazing entertainment! I'd argue for DHS Citizens of Hollywood/Streetmosphere though! The two are kind of incomparable to each other, so I feel safe calling it a tie :)
I call the Dinosaur ride. The feel like a dry martini ride. Since you are shakened well and not stirred. 😁 Also Animal Kingdom is my favorite right now and the favorite ride is the Flight of Passage in Pandora.
Thanks for all the info Tim. Was very interesting. You mentioned they used to have a meet and greet for Launchpad. Love Launchpad but I really think they need to bring back Darkwing Duck!!! Who is with me on this one???!!! If you are a Darkwing Duck fan let me know. "Let's get dangerous!!!"
My personal theory for dinoland is that it could potentially be a “Strange World” themed land. I don’t know though because it could conflict with pandora having a similar theme.
Check out Dino Hunters, they show you the guys that actually find the Dino fossils. One guy found a TRex he calls Cowboy and that one is over 80% complete I think and is second to Sue.
I really enjoy your blogs, Tim. I especially like to watch your vacation vlogs when you go to the beach, the different themed vacation homes, and your Disney Resort hotel stays. However, I find that I need to fastforward many of your theme park blogs because you do tend to spoil the rides and attractions for me by showing too much. I imagine there are those who appreciate you showing what the rides and attractions are like so that they can decide if they want to experience them. I will be visiting WDW in Sept. 2022 and I want to experience the new attractions and rides first hand. But, I am definitely an big fan of your blog. Thanks for sharing!
Some of the theming and story in Dino Land is excellent. But I've never like the story around the Dinosaur ride. And I've hated the carnival part even though I get the story. The character meet and greets were super good and creative. I think they could do some improvements. Don't know what, but that's what they've got Imagineers for.
Hiya Tim loved your day at Animal Kingdom today. The New Finding Nemo show is brilliant, I agree with you the songs are great and the actors sing great too. The set looked so colourful and realistic too. It's going to be a very popular attraction for Animal Kingdom. From Jamie in the Uk
Quick question for you or any other subscribers, we are due to fly out to Orlando in August. My wife has never been to Disney world before and her favourite character from a child is Baloo. Is he still there to see/ meet as I have not seen anything since covid hit about him coming back. If she doesn’t get to see him she will be heart broken.
From what I read at the Field, they think the holes in Sue's jaw are possibly from an infection eating away at the bone, but that infection might have been caused by a fight with another dinosaur 🦖
FUN FACT: The load area of "Dinosaur" has 3 pipes running through it which are red, yellow and white. The writing on them is the chemical descriptions for ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise. This was to tie in with the McDonalds that used to be at Restaurantosaurus
I love Expedition Everest but it seems out of order. Shouldn’t you see the shadow of the Yeti rip up the track before you get there? Great watch as always!
Loved the voice quality in this video ! Does anyone know what type of mic he’s using in this video ? I’m thinking it’s the Rode wireless go but does anyone else have an idea ? :)
Well I have a strange question. I watch all your videos of you going in these parks and such in the heat and when you get out you don’t have a hair out of place. What are you using? 😎
I’m doing the ICP this summer and was being shown around Animal kingdom this morning, come say hi next time you are in Animal Kingdom i’m working custodial
If you love Nemo, you NEED to go see Festival of the Lion King and my absolute favorite: Beauty and the Beast!!! Unfortunately you can see Voyage of the Little Mermaid anymore, but you can find good videos of it here on UA-cam. Beauty and Mermaid were my first shows working in Entertainment!! Miss those days!!!
The puppeteers in the Nemo show are amazing! The puppets themselves are amazing, but the puppeteers really bring them to life.
Fun fact if you go to the museum in Chicago where Sue is at it will show you what bones is missing! And another fun fact the head in the museum isn’t the real head, her real head is on the second floor because it’s to heavy!!
It’s in the Field museum in Chicago
Yes! Saw Sue back on the 10th anniversary of the Field Museum having Sue. So much information! 💜💜💜
That show is legit broadway quality. Such good performers.
AK is such a nice park to stroll through. I love going to just watch the animals. It has a very calming atmosphere. Awesome video. Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
I love seeing Devine every visit. She looks so cool! Cannot wait to see the new Nemo show!
I for one would be all about a fully themed "Duck Tales" land...and it would fit well in Animal Kingdom already.
Something nostalgic like that would be the perfect draw!
I really hope they add more stuff to AK. It’s the most neglected park out of the 4, they can add so many cool things from Disney animal characters
I would love to see Kali River Rapids, watching Tim on Expedition Everest never gets old!
I LOVE dino Chip & Dale. I want to hug them so bad 😭
The cheeseburger pods are legit #1 and are my must have any time I come to Orlando. Absolutely delicious and you don’t feel gross or weighed down like you had something super greasy after!
I love AK it's such a peaceful park. I love to just wander around all the side trails. I'm so glad the Nemo show is back, can't wait to see it in Aug.
I LOVE Dinosaur!! My favorite ride in DW
Tim! I was in Disney for my birthday in January and I took some photos with my disposable camera of those Dino billboards. They’re under appreciated. There’s so much history in animal kingdom so long as you know where to look.
The Nemo puppets are AMAZING ! Its really cool that the actors kinda sound like the originals too ,thanks for showing that Tim I really enjoyed it 🙂🙂
Everyone else: Dinoland was just Eisner being cheap and not caring about putting in the effort and money into a fully themed part of the park.
Tim: I think I would be okay with a few more dino themed flat rides.
Pretty sure Tim would add a caveat that it needs Disney-class theming. They definitely need more flat rides in the parks, but they have to be done with the world-class theming you'd expect from an Orlando theme park.
Been really enjoying you back at the parks on solo days. Lots of fun info in this one!!
Finding Nemo show is the best on the entire property......I love it so much I bought the show cd.
i remember when Animal Kingdom first opened, there was a huge tent with fossil exhibits. It added to the wonder of DinoLand.
Yes it did. I was there for Opening day.
Love seeing Sue in Orlando! Im from Illinois and have vlogged the field museum a couple times. One of my daughters favorite dinosaur is the Quetzalcoatlus and she loves their life-size Quetzalcoatlus sculpts.
Animal Kingdom needs more rides, and by more rides I mean family friendly rides. Some sort of trackless ride would be a good fit IMO

Animal kingdom is my favourite Disney park. I could watch divine all day. Tim I have missed your ride noises!
Damn, I never liked Nemo as a kid but wow how much that play made me (/inner child) emotional... :D
I could not agree more ... the Animal Kingdom live entertainment is second to none for me!
Animal Kingdom is the only WDW park I have never had the opportunity to visit. Headed there this year and Im so ding dang excited!!!
awesome! definitely try out the avatar ride it’s the best!
thank you tim, your travels in the parks inspire us. And your trips around orlando are great to convince us to move there ;-)
I don’t know what it is about the ‘Big Blue World’ song, but it always makes me emotional. Every. Single. Time.
You got great footage of the inversion on Everest! Awesome!
Animal Kingdom has the best backstories in all of WDW! ❤️ Even the Dinosaur gift shop has more backstory to it than other (non-Disney) theme parks as a whole 😂
Ferris wheel and bumper cars would be cute or an eggscrambler would be adorable in the carnival theme
I agree. Kids carnival rides would b so cute.
If you want some more impressive pterosaurs just look up the genus Arambourgiania. They had a wingspan of up to 43 feet and were about as tall as a giraffe! Crazy that they could still fly, they’re the largest species ever to do so.
I can vibe with Tim getting double chips lol
Thank you for taking us to Animal Kingdom! Finding Nemo is my favorite in all of Disney World! I have been curious what the new show looked like; it looks amazing! I recognized the same Marlin and Nemo actors.
We are from the west coast and we have to say that we enjoy Indiana Jones (similar ride) at Disneyland better than Dinosaur. If you had to choose between the two, which one do you like better?
I am absolutely in love with the Nemo show, its amazing!
Tim, I saw the Finding Nemo show in 2016 and yes, it really hits you in the feels!!! My daughter watched it constantly when she was 2 and I feel I can recite it in my sleep! LOL! Great show!!
Wow, as always great video. Thank you for sharing
In a couple years, Jackson will love the Field Museum. If you need a Chicago tour guide/trip planner... I gotcha!
Animal Kingdom is one of my favs 💚 xx
SHE'S HANGING OUT IN THE VINES!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank-you for showing Sue the dinosaur! My kinders and I read a book about Sue, the woman, who found Sue Hendrickson and her dog. Agree about the shows and talent. In animal kingdom. Such talented people.
The nemo show is a top tier nap spot
Hey Tim Loved Your Day at Animal Kingdom Today
That's where we'll be Thursday! I'm ready 🎉😂😂❤
I have seen vlogs from the other parks like Paris and Tokyo, and animal kingdom does have the best live music from what I've seen.
DAK does have amazing entertainment! I'd argue for DHS Citizens of Hollywood/Streetmosphere though! The two are kind of incomparable to each other, so I feel safe calling it a tie :)
Perfect timing on this video, Tim! We're going to Animal Kingdom on Tuesday and it's our first trip to WDW since 2019!
I call the Dinosaur ride. The feel like a dry martini ride. Since you are shakened well and not stirred. 😁 Also Animal Kingdom is my favorite right now and the favorite ride is the Flight of Passage in Pandora.
Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I LOVED and will forever miss Primeval Whirl.
I liked the Nemo show, that was cute!
I’m crying at the edit that just jumps to the “hello there” and jumps cuts again.
i love all of you guys’ vids!!
My personal theory for dinoland is that it could potentially be a “Strange World” themed land. I don’t know though because it could conflict with pandora having a similar theme.
Whoa whoa whoa. Was that your first time going to the Nemo show Tim?! Probably my favorite stage show!
I was there at the exit of dinosaur (by the benches that got blocked off) just a couple of weeks ago, escaping the rain. Great spot to hang out at !
My favourite park 👍 we loved Everest and dinosaur but it was December so nemo show wasn’t on
There's a fellow Houstonian at 1:44 lol
Let's go Astros! 💫
Check out Dino Hunters, they show you the guys that actually find the Dino fossils. One guy found a TRex he calls Cowboy and that one is over 80% complete I think and is second to Sue.
The fact you said Animal Kingdom is the hottest park made me laugh because it’s true but why is it the hottest park 🤣
What a great video! 😍
the show looks incredible!!!
i’ve never actually seen the nemo show so this was cool! i love the turtle puppets the most 🐢
WHO'S READY FOR SOME WILD ADVENTURES!
I really enjoy your blogs, Tim. I especially like to watch your vacation vlogs when you go to the beach, the different themed vacation homes, and your Disney Resort hotel stays. I can't Thankyou enough for taking me to the finding nemo show! Absolutely amazing!!! That's so sweet you got choked up thinking of jackson!😇
Loved the Nemo show xx
Any day is a good day at AK with Tim Tracker ❤️
Facts!!! on the live entertainment. Best by far
personally the actors in the streets at hws are the best entertainment for me
I think the studios has the best entertainment with the streetmosphere actors and actresses!
I absolutely love AK - and yes - the best entertainment
They could have a the good dinosaur ride
"I hurt myself!" HahhAHhah I hate when that happens on rollercoasters. HAHHAhAhhahH
Great info and content as always Tim, Hello to Jenn and Jackson...
Always enjoy this Channel! Thanks Tim! All the best to the fam
I feel like I am actually there!
Loved the voice quality in this video ! Does anyone know what type of mic he’s using in this video ? I’m thinking it’s the Rode wireless go but does anyone else have an idea ? :)
They have their equipment linked in the description. It’s not mentioning which one they were using in this specific video, but maybe it still helps :)
Well I have a strange question. I watch all your videos of you going in these parks and such in the heat and when you get out you don’t have a hair out of place. What are you using? 😎
Marlin from the nemo show sounds like Seymour Krelborn from Little Shop of Horrors.
I think Jackson will love to see the Finding Nemo Show!😊
Please go to Disney Springs and try the Mjölnir dessert!!!
What a great video
I’m doing the ICP this summer and was being shown around Animal kingdom this morning, come say hi next time you are in Animal Kingdom i’m working custodial
The Nemo show made me cry. Looking forward to seeing it in person in September. Thanks for a great video!
Animal kingdom does have the best live entertainment. Lion King, Nemo, African performers.
Great video guys!❤️💙 you brighten my day!
My sister cracked a rib just the way you hurt yourself on Everest! Ouch!
