    just a recommendation, lock your host pc to whatever fps you configured the stream. it'll be the smoothest and won't skip any frames. use rivatuner for the best results.
    you can also lock your steamDeck's TDP to 3 Watts so you're forcing it to use as little as possible. Thank you for the guide Santiago much love!

      Good tips but you don't need to use the TDP limit. Just set it to the hz of your decks screen and it will only use whatever it needs and nothing more, forcing it down might cause latency

    Thanks for the video you should explain what is super sampling ! And I don’t know if you can answer that question but when I set the resolution of my game to 1280 to 800 it looks blurry than 1080p even if the steam deck is not 1080 p why ?

    great video thanks!!! it works great but I noticed in some games the fps drops, doesnt drop on the host pc but drops on the steam deck. bitrate its on 50mbps, do you think its that?

    How would this work with an ultra wide monitor? Would the screen mirror to the deck at 21:9 or would it change?

    • @SantiagoSantiago
      @SantiagoSantiago  7 місяців тому +4

      Just by setting the resolution to 1280x800 or 1920x1200 in your desktop and in-game, it will look correct on your Deck 💪

    Brother I need your advice please as a man with all the handhelds. My budget it 1300 my goal is to stream Aaa titles from desktop like poe2 and Elden ring etc for high details and high battery usage less demand on the system at home. When I travel or on lunch break the idea is for emulated stuff and less demanding games gta3 or ds1 bubble bobble etc. so I was torn on oled deck and ally x. I believe getting ally x slapping a 4tb ssd in it a 1tb microsd and putting the extra 1tb in my desktop as extra storage. Vs a oled with 2tb and less power and battery? But a better screen?…. My eye sights kinda bad so do I neeeeeed oled? What would you personally do? I really appreciate any help brother been watching so many of your videos

      My desktop has a 2070 super aio and 13700kf so can handle anything thrown at it and I have 5g WiFi so I think I could stream at up to 120hz in 1080x1920

      the ROG ally most definitely does not have a better battery then the steam deck. The steam deck is pretty good for emulating games though, you can also upgrade the steam deck ssd

    Imma be honest... Buying steamdeck to stream using moonlight is pointless.
    The steamdeck already has built in Remote streaming capabilities and it does not require additional configuration using a plugin.
    secondly When i use moonlight its always with my G-Cloud cuz that device is more comfortable to hold and has WAAAAY better battery life.

    • @hbaabes
      @hbaabes Місяць тому +1

      @@VyllenceGaming not useless if you want to play high demanding games like Final Fantasy 16. Also moonlight sunshine has much better connection than steam remote play with much stable connection. Use G-Cloud if you want but not everyone owns a steam deck and a G-Cloud at the same time like you do.

    • @VyllenceGaming
      @VyllenceGaming Місяць тому

      @hbaabes point taken. I've tested moonlight and steam link both from my GCloud as well as the Steam deck and while the appeal of being able to play on a remote network is nice, The biggest downside is that moonlight relies on an active display connection and does not do resolution resizing so if you're desktop has an ultra wide you're going to get a squashed stream. You can do extra work to fix this but just added caveats
