I think that pathing in tower defense games is a crucial part of the strategy, and the fact that you can destroy buildings in such a way as to create circuitous paths for the enemy in X-Morph Defense is fantastic! This is looking VERY good :D
I know it's been out for a little while now, but I would really like to hear your opinion(s) on the Nintendo Switch and see if you think its worth a buy or not. I dunno if you even listen to viewer's ideas or requests but I thought it might be an entertaining video
Normally im not for Tower defence, but i have Kept an eye on this for some time... Thx for review Mack... Im getting it on the Xbone. Looking forward to it...
So far so good. I'm a sucker for a well done tower defence game but there are so few great ones available (anomaly, sanctum, defence grid ). I will keep an eye on this one at the time of full release.
Will you make a review of the upcoming gundam versus (sept 29 NA) for PS4 only as bandai doesnt usually release games in the west. Xmorph looks cool, too bad im broke
Just cycling through games on my ps4 (I know) but I saw a trailer for this game and they have quoted you in the trailer with some other reviewers too 'everything is destructible' worth a buy Thought it was quite cool as a long time follower from the earlier days. 😆
This actually looks pretty decent! perfect to pick up for an hour for something fast-paced. I'll wait for a price drop on PS4 though, not paying over £500 for this.
Hi Mack. First off: cool review, not really my type of game, but I might try it out, looks cool. One thing came to my mind while watching the video tho: In shooter games you always mention how you hate it if one has to grind to unlock specific weapons, you want them to be unlocked right away. While I recognize that the comparison is not perfect, why do you enjoy the unlock-grind in tower defense games? Keep up the reviews and greetings from Germany
DerSchnaiter Because tower defense games are single player and it makes the game have greater replay ability I'm the same in single player games I want replay ability means grinding in multiplayer games I want to be just as good as everyone right from the start
"Let's read the words of the developer, the words the words..."at this point has become an inside joke between me and anyone else when we look at games we might buy haha. Thanks for the good times Mack.
I like your videos but I think when you preview or review a game, you could, in the end, let us hear the sound off the game for +/- 20 seconds ... Great videos keep it up!
mack would you mind trying to get a press copy of xcom 2 war of the chosen. It fixed a lot of the shit you didnt like about xcom 2 like options to do away with timers. I think you would like it.
@@haemorrhoid1989 thank you for reminding me this game exists, I remember when mac did a preview for it (well after I just rewatched it I remember) though I didn't know it was by the same company. Riftbreakers looks like every thing I look for in a game. (Maybe the next thing they make will have unit manufacture/management. On top of all the things riftbreakers has) Then they will have truly made a masterpiece. This is how you make a sequel.
@@haemorrhoid1989 theres a demo? I will have a look. Hopefully they release the full game soon. (But don't rush it, I can wait for finished game) I'm looking at you Ubisoft.
Mack can you please - please - please give the Battlefield Revolution update some attention. The public needs to know about this "elite dangerous stunt", the bloody game hasnt even been out for a year. I bought this for €120,- its pure theft...
Meh I just never did like tower defense games, besides they're so 1990s! They originated in SC broodwars and once WC3 came out they were already old! ya know, we've seen it all before lol!! This game disappoints me, I was hoping we'd be some kind of cool alien overlord in an RTS game haha :p
Destroy All Humans! was the last game with a similar background, wasn't it? Totally different gameplay, of course.
the destructible environment is a great take on the build block here to re route the waves that all TD games have.

Mack 2017
Great showing, thanks for the preview!
Sold me in the first 45 seconds! Thanks Mack, keep up the brilliant work!
Destruction looks awesome, can't wait for this game, it's at the top of my wishlist on Steam, I just hope they will release a map editor soon as well.
4:40 - "run run run... ah fuck it, fuego!"
Looks great, I'll definitely pick it up soon.
Loopy... are you my long lost evil twin brother?
I always thought I had a twin, turns out he was Epic all along.
Looks worth a buy!
"Probably a thousand pounds..." 😂😂😂😂😂
This looks like a cool blend of bullet hell and tower defense. I'll have to check it out!
Nobody cares about the words!!
We wanna hear THE WORDS THE WORDS the worddsss.. (of the developah)

I think it's made by the guys behind Zombie Driver.
Have you played quake champions mack? What are your thoughts on it?

It's a little too ... blue. Can we reduce the saturation of these shiny markers (make it more transparent or so)?
all these nice twin sticks that expect a mouse... is there any way to play this stuff on an arcade cabinet with 8-way sticks?
cant wait for a DarkWood review :D
Oooh this is the game you were playing In your earlier video. I wondered
looks great!
The green man link doesn't seem to be working for this title. Anybody else getting the same problem?
