Despite being rather foolish and predictable, I liked the human general. His final battle was quite courageous, I could feel genuine emotions in his voice when he called all available units for support: desperation, resolve to fight to the very end, hatred towards the enemy who stole and destroyed their home... The voice actor who voiced the general did a really good job! I seriously wish that we didn't play as the bad guys in this game, here is to hoping part 2 will be told from the human side, and humanity will prevail.
After watching game X-Morph Defense, I get 2 conclusions. 1) The game is very creative in concept. 2) Human general who is antagonist to player is dumbass idiot who not worth his salary, I don't get how he get his job and stay in his position till the end of the game. - He keep doing the same tactics again and again without changing apart from send new type of units into battlefield in very uncreative way (why he have to keep sending his army line single line along the road?, why not use infiltration? Clearing obstacle, go underground? Where is horde of infantry to swarming target which clearly could ignore repair advantage of X-Morph fighter?) - Why he allow X-Morph to shape battle without extensively doing it their own? he rarely clear obstacle or try to use it as advantage? Why they don't try to get rid of obstacle and shape the battlefield for themselves? - Obstacle we see in game seem not actual obstacle in real life war at all, like buildings which infantry could walk from door on one side to another door on other side without being truly obstacle - Why no human military staffs try to do radio silence? - Where naval bombardment gone during X-Morph attack Hawaii? - Where are escorts units to protect boss units? - Many more idiot things done by that human general so on and so on....
Yep it will make a game more complicated both the players and developers then usual. It may be interesting if the humans do that for story reasons but bad idea for gameplay reasons.
Because the alien had an ability to predict and estimate all those paths thanks to hacked human communications (it was mentioned in Nigerian mission after victory).
Mandy would defeat them all if it weren't for the fact that this is happening in a world where The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy doesn't exist because Maxwell Atoms, its creator, does not exist at all.
okay, but i gotta ask, WHY has no one figured out that the aliens wiretapped every command frequency from day one and knew basically every step of the humans in advance? "dropping a building wiht people still in it in their way will force them to go around" "they're sending heavy armor, making the laser cannon available." "infantry is coming through the woods, place a flamethrower." wars are lost in the intel room and the xmorphs were looking at the cards in the general's hand before he did.

Soo, humans built a colony on the moon?

Are there any hints of what project phoenix is in this game(like in one of the dialogue maybe)?
nope only the name of the project been mention in the ending
@@BunnyFun1095 If so, I hope that this time we play as humans trying to reclaim Earth :)
Human: X-morph elimination maybe?
you badass alien!
Wow you play as the bad guy in this game.
With this much firepower.. how the f*** did the humans lose? 😂
Because the alien had an ability to predict and estimate all those paths thanks to hacked human communications (it was mentioned in Nigerian mission after victory).
Wait why did the humans not use the nukes to blow up the cores?
Who need nuke went you have giant robot
They tried, but the nukes were disarmed by the cores befor they could hit...
(Dialog in one of the missions)
What difficulty were you on?
