I love this, Adventure was a game I played a freaking lot as a kid. And that easter egg you were referring to with the vertical text in the game 2, was the game developers name, Atari had forbidden any form of developer credit to be published in the games made for their systems, the fellow who made Adventure, William Robinett, took umbrage to that, leading to his hiding credit to himself in the game. =^.^=

I still have my Atari 2600 that I've kept alive through the years hooked up to a CRT television I have the i the basement. I get the 'ol nostalgia feels every now and then, and go down and play the old games.
Pacman, Adventure, Missile Command and Centipede are my favorites.

I'm really starting to like this game within a game genre. I've seen you play a few similar things where a character is playing a game which affects the world around them, or the other way around, and it's such an interesting concept. Plus this game does a very good job with the nostalgia, such as the atari graphics, the old style magazine, even the bed covers have that retro feel to their design. This is definitely a fun one.

This is a great looking game. Very nostalgic! I never had an Atari but a couple of childhood friends of mine did so I'm familiar with the graphics and sound capabilities. It didn't have much to work with...I think 256 _bytes_ of RAM if I remember right. I was always into Commodore stuff instead. However I do have a cassette radio very similar to that one on the desk. It still works, although the tape player isn't the best any more. Big thumbs up to play the full game when it comes out!

I would love to give this more than just one like. Like, A GAZILLION TO INFINITY.

Gad, I would just love to have this kind of game for the old NES Castlevania...imagine playing the game, and having to deal with the stuff on the game IN REAL LIFE, as if the game was a portal to Dracula Hell, and by playing it, you unleash Dracula on the world, and have to hunt him down WHILE USING THE GAME FOR REFERENCE ON WHERE HE IS AND WHAT'S COMING!!! KONAMI, if you're reading this, I think I just epiphanied your next CASTLEVANIA series. Oh man...4th wall break mixed with video game madness...ON A VIDEO GAME. WHOOOOO....

I like how they think that front loading VCR's were always around b4 the top loader 😂

People still played the Atari 2600 well into the 80s and 90s. This game could be set at a time when the front loading VCR was already a common thing.

@@00Skyfox yes but alot of people moved on after the video game crash to Nintendo

@@boombox5150 And a lot of people didn't, or at least they didn't get rid of their Atari. My best friend in high school (class of 93) still had an A2600 despite also having a Commodore 64.
