Fantastic tip. Maybe the best single Resolve tip video I've seen here. Thanks so much.
This video helped me realize there's an even easier way: So when you select a node and press CTRL+C on it, you don't copy the actual node, but rather the node's information. To paste it, you have to create a new node, and paste the information inside it.
If you try to paste it 'as a new node', it won't work, it'll just apply the copied information to whatever node is already there, messing up your grade.
Thanks for the video! In a roundabout way, it was very helpful.
This comment should be pinned. Thank you
That's so much better than his video lol.
Thanks, and i would not learn this without Mauris video! Together we can fix everything!
Hero!
Simple and straight to the point, thank you!
Thanks man for the video! It was surprisingly difficult to find the answer to this simple question lol! Thanks for being quick and to the point!
Never seen such a precise and valuable information on UA-cam, You saved my nerves and stopped me from throwing pc outta window thanks mate :)))
Brilliant. Solved my problem in an instant. Thanks!
super smooth and simple, thank you
Brilliant, thank you. This will boost my productivity so much, fabulous tip 🙏🙏
such an amazing tutorial, thank you so much!
just discovered that Ctrl + C / Ctrl + V works as well but you need to copy a source node into a destination node
Awesome! Thank you for this!
Helped, thanks bro
There MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST be a faster way to do this. On verison 17 and before, you could click on a node tree on one clip and select copy. Then go to another shot and in its node tree, select a node and paste.
Grabbing a still
Displaying a still
Click-n-drag a node
Close displey of still.
That CAN'T be the best/fastest way. But, you're right: it does work. But
i use control C and its faster
Agreed! I am used to copy paste specific corrections in Lightroom and this here feels archaic. Would be so easy to fix, I don't understand how people can wokr like this
Thanks straight to the point
Awesome! thanks a lot :)
thank you this is the only method that works for copying dehancer settings from one clip to another you have saved me so much time!
Glad it helped!
Thank you, exactly what I was searching for.. Maybe you should do one video with all the different copy/paste technique because everything is separated, can't find one video explaining all the main tricks.. Just an idea
Perfect* thank you!
damn thank bro
Thanks for the tip, great one! Wouldn't it better if DR simply allowed to copy paste a node? Baffles me why there's no straightforward copy paste of nodes implemented
thanks man. This helps alot!
Happy to help!
How about pasting it in multiple clips?
Or you can just ctrl+c on vignette node and ctrl+v on the node that has to have vignetting...
Still a good video. But will it work with multiple clips? For example, if I want only the Noise reduction node to be applied to...lets say, 86 clips, at once?
Thank you.
Yeah, this used to work on older versions, and it's definitely the better way to go. Alas I'm having trouble today in v 18 - in that when I copy/paste, it's doing the entire node tree. I know there's a setting somewhere, but I can't remember where.
Agreed! How is there no simple way to copy specific nodes in bulk to all clips without messing up the grade?
Thank you I always was pulling my hair out
Ok!
they hsould find a way to make it less complicated
There is a less complicated way. On v17 and before, a simple copy/paste would do it.
Click on a node: copy.
Go to another shot, click on an unused node: paste.
